This was the most incredible treat! We loved the low key atmosphere and yet delicious and unusual food. All explained beautifully (and thank you for speaking with us in French and not English). We did the wine pairing and it was the best choice we made as the wines were sensational. Quantities were just right - we didn’t leave feeling awful because we’d overindulged. We had such a fun evening and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We’ve now eaten at all of Sancerre’s top restaurants, and this is our favorite. The wine list is superb, including wonderful choices from throughout France. The chef is responsive to dietary requests and restrictions. And our food was delicious, both the vegetarian menu and the more conventional “surprise menu.” The service was also superb: friendly, efficient, gracious.

Such a lovely dinner in the very heart of Sancerre. Very cozy and well designed interior, with a warm welcome. The dishes were all created from local ingredients and seasonal with a big vegetarian focus on most dishes. A large wine list of Loire area wines at very reasonable prices with a few luxury vintages. Excellent service and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Dining at La Tour was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers creative and delicious cuisine. The experience was impeccable. The staff was wonderful and professional and very helpful. I came here with my family in the spring of 2016! One of the best dining experiences I have ever had in France! Immaculate and incredible cheese selection, the seasonal dishes were superb, it was well worth the money according to my parents and best of all, the kind and attentive staff were very accommodating when it came to my disabled brother, making him a fantastic puree des pommes de terre a la minute and a light delicious protein (une petit poisson je crois)! So so grateful we could enjoy a Michelin started experience and that the people who served, hosted and cooked for us were so lovely!! Visiting and dining at La Tour is a must if you are in Sancerre!!

The most AMAZING culinary experience of my life! I went to La Tour recently for my birthday and it was a perfect evening. The surprise menu was delicious and interesting. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. And the atmosphere was comfortable and light. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant and my experience there. Just PERFECT.

This was an excellent dining experience. Simply, they earn their Michelin star. The courses flow together, they are brilliantly conceived. The favors intense with subtle saucing. They are a feast for the eyes as well. The only weakness is the menu descriptions do not prepare you for the excellence to come. Our simple dinner consisted of an appetizer with a foamed sorbet and fish with almonds. The salad was an exquisite garden that exploded with favors. Next was a squash prepared three ways. Main course, the cod was very light, delicate, perfectly presented, perhaps poached or sou vide? The fromage course was varied and exquisite although heavy for what we had to that point. But who can turn down french cheeses? For desert I had rhubarb confit. There are about ten tables, the room extremely comfortable and quiet. Timing of the courses was perfect as well. Excellent wine menu of the region. Our waiter suggested a very reasonably priced Sancerre SB that excellent. The entire evening cost was 112 euros, the best dining experience for that price I have experienced.
