La Traboule

"Just a few hundred metres from the Élysée Palace, this establishment sports a fashionable bistro interior and a buzzy vibe. The food errs towards well-crafted bistronomic courtesy of simple recipes that focus on big-boned, legible flavours." - Michelin Inspector

Small romantic spot, full of locals and great ambiance; You can catch a glimpse of the kitchen on the way to the restroom - everything going on in it looks very professional, full of skill and creativity - like art; Good service. I loved that the menu was not too big but had very good and interesting choices ; every item ordered (starter - parmesan custard, main - red mullet, dessert - brownie) was very well crafted with every detail executed to a T, brilliant tastes and combinations of textures, each ingredient handled with exceptional skill. A beautiful, exciting and most importantly delicious meal.

We wanted a special dinner for our last night in Paris and asked our hotel for recos. La Traboule was in walking distance, they had great reviews and they had a steak, which my fiance was craving. To our surprise, when we arrived, there was a special menu in place, that did not include a steak. We decided to try it out and we are so happy that we did. The three course meal we enjoyed was delicious! My fiance ended up with fish instead of steak and he could not have been happier with his meal. Each dish was perfectly plated with ingredients that worked so well together. And the desert was yummy! Since it's a small space, with about 22 seats, it can get a bit chilly when the door opens in the winter. Regardless, I would go again when in Paris to try different dishes. It was a small team handling everything and the service was great.

Food is fantastic. It’s a small place so it’s quiet. The service is impeccable. I had the Risotto and it was delicious. Wine was excellent as well. Highly highly recommended.

My husband and I visited La Traboule for the first time in December 2022. We haven’t stopped thinking about it for the last two years! The food! The atmosphere! It’s just perfection. Highly recommend doing the chefs 5 course dinner. You will be treated to the most amazing flavor combinations and beautifully prepared dishes. We can’t wait to go back!

we decided to just drop by this place near our hotel and the food was actually good. Everything we tried was delicious but the entrée with the fowl was something else. It was a beautiful restaurant, and the service was great as well. We were probably the last customers and they could've easily turned us away because we didn't have a reservation, but they stayed until after closing to serve us. I highly recommend this restaurant, but if you come during peak dinner hours, maybe get a reservation.

This small restaurant wasn't originally part of our plans, but it was close by, starting to rain, and still open late on a Thursday night. The service was excellent (much better than at many other Parisian establishments) and the food was good, though it didn't completely blow me away + somewhat pricey. The dishes are creative and beautifully presented but seemed to be missing something to make it a 5* dining experience. Perhaps it was just what I ordered (the sweetbreads) because my partner really loved the risotto. The dessert was brilliant though! Overall it was a very nice dinner and I'd happily return if we were in the neighborhood again.

A Cozy and Delicious Dining Experience We had an amazing meal at this small, welcoming restaurant! For starters, we tried the Œuf Parfait with corn foam and the Royal Parmesan with smoked duck, both bursting with flavor. Our main courses were equally impressive: the Suprême of yellow chicken with potato gnocchi and morel sauce and the Butternut squash risotto with sautéed mushrooms were perfectly prepared. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing evening. I didn’t get to try the dessert this time, but I’ll definitely be back for it. Highly recommend this spot for a refined yet cozy dining experience!

Yelp
We had our last dinner in Paris at La Traboule and wow it was amazing! For some reason, spontaneous dinners without any planning in Paris has always been a fail for us, so imagine our shock when it was close to 10:30 PM and we decided to just drop by this place near our hotel and the food was actually good.

Yelp
This place was so so good, especially for the price! I believe the prix fixe courses was about 50 euros per person - no tip, no tax. What a steal for the quality of food served! The portions are quite small, but very good and I was decently full afterwards. I literally can't get over how cheap and good it was. Something like this could easily be $100+ in NYC. It's a small restaurant with limited seating so definitely reserve in advance. Would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Oh my god. Gourmet heaven and extremely talented chef. A tiny little place with a tiny little kitchen - so very limited seating and reminds me of a Japanese cook shop. Chef is Italian but super inventive. I don't think I've ever had squid so delicately done, succulent and tasty. They are usually rubbery and chewy. I forgot to take more photos of my food but we ordered fish dishes and they were excellent and well imagined. I also had miso ice cream and yes you read right. Our server who was also fabulous explained that it's like a salty caramel. It was that and more. This restaurant is in Michelin (although not rated ) and has two chef hats on the Gault et Millau system.

Yelp
It was our 2nd to last day in Paris and my wife, daughter and I wanted to try La Traboule, based on so many positive reviews. I will reflect all these positive reviews with one more. It was fabulous. We tried the 3 course meal for 37e. It was delightfully prepared and the staff was so friendly. Did I mention our daughter is only 10 months? This can be a challenge to eat at a place like this, but the servers were very welcoming to her and even playing with her. We tried to eat fairly quick due to having an antsy infant but we pulled it off. Try this cute place, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Food heaven.....Delicious food and friendly service. Would highly recommend as a Paris gastronomic experience. Have been in Paris for 3 weeks and this is our favorite restaurant!

Yelp
The food was good but small portions. Service was nice. The restaurant was very hot. No AC. I consider the price was too high for the area where the restaurant is located. The dish in the attached picture was 32 eurosI had dinner with my wife two nights earlier in a very fancy restaurant with better food and service, with views to the Eiffel Tower for the same price.

Yelp
Service exceptional, food mind blowing. Small, well balanced selection of wine, complementing a small well balanced menu. I cried. The flavours, the delicacy, the tenderness. Magnificent.
