Great date spot (or solo spot) with authentic ambiance, welcoming service, and amazing food! Loved how tender the steak was and portions were generous. Aren’t you salivating at the photos attached? I’m not over how incredible the plantains were- we devoured them so fast I didn’t even get photos. Textures were perfectly crunchy then soft and warm. Def come give it a try.

Second time coming here and thought I’d leave a review because it’s been consistently good with great service. I highly recommend the mole poblano. The tortillas are also amazing and have a slight thickness I find hard to get at most places unless homemade! Definitely a neighborhood gem worth checking out.

La Trevesia is a culinary gem! The fusion of Chapin and Mexican flavors is a match made in heaven. The dishes are expertly crafted. We were there for breakfast, I had Huevos Divorciados and my friend had the Torrejas Chapinas, The flavors are bold, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and welcoming ¡Delicioso!" 5/5 stars. Breakfast is served all day!

The smell drew me in and the food and great vibes made me not want to leave. Some of the best birria I’ve had in the city. Lovely atmosphere, with lots of history for those curious to ask. Strongly recommend!!

Yelp
Cool new Latino Mexican-Guatemalan restaurant! La Travesia just opened a few days ago. Had a carne asada fajita burrito and enchilada con mole plate. The food is great! Atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Not just another burrito place with zero ambiance. More upscale but prices are very reasonable. There are actually tablecloths! Looks like it could be a good place to take a date.
