I wandered in here because I was working in a nearby clinic. The workers here do not speak English, but I did not have any trouble ordering food. However, of you are looking for someone to explain the menu to you, that might be a bit tough. Also, I got panhandled in the restaurant which is ok, for me, but if you are bothered easily by that type of thing, then maybe stay away.
Food was really good. Best Salvadorian tamal Ive had in Dallas. I got one with chicken and potatoes and another red bean one. I got a queso and chicharron papusa, and it was good, but I wish it had more chicharron in it. Lastly I got a steak and onions plate that came with a large amount of well seasoned meat, rice and beans, side salad, and a coleslaw, and some additional corn patties. It was a lot of food for the cheap price. The steak was good, but some pieces were a bit tough to chew on. Overall a decent experience. The coleslaw was really unique as well.
