"With its large bay windows, the interior is pleasant, but it is outdone by the irresistible south-facing terrace just beyond the picturesque Bec de la Vallée dock. It's the perfect place to sample fine seafood (charred leeks, cockles from the bay with fresh herbs), as well as classics from Brittany's terroir, eg tranche de lard paysan du pays malouin (salted smoked bacon), far breton (traditional flan-style dessert)." - Michelin Inspector

Very nice hotel. Good view from rather ordinary bedroom. Nice breakfast. Good staff

Food, average. Cordon blue was served mildly warm, the seafood soup tasted like dirty mud. Nice place to sit and get out of the wind if your willing to cop the attitude from the male waiter.

A quick review. Now that I’ve tried every Michelin stars in Paris and every 3 stars in France, I’m redoing most of them and exploring more (follow me for all the reviews and updates). I’ve heard about this one because of the chef previously working in the George V. Great cellar. Great view. Awesome lobster dumplings. I repeat (as I did since I had them twice in a raw): Awesome lobster dumplings. You’ll spend a great evening, especially with the wine list they have.

The Hotel is very scenically located and has warm, friendly staff. Our frustration at having to wait four days for our ferry to the Channel Islands has been mitigated by a big comfortable bed, excellent room facilities , good restaurant and nearby parking. And 30 euros a night cheaper than a box room in a faceless chain hotel in St Malo.

We spent 2 nights and had a great time. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly small but had a balcony with table & chairs which was well worth it as it benefited from the afternoon and evening sun - perfect for aperitifs! The food was really good and nice views across the estuary from the restaurant. Just down from the hotel at the end of the quay you can catch the passenger ferry to St. Malo which made a fun outing. Parking outside the hotel is limited to 5 spaces but there is plenty of parking within walking distance but the hotel is at the bottom of a hill.

Popped in for a coffee, lovely friendly staff. Think we might come back and stay 😊

Only found through our friends we were visiting who took us out for lunch. Food was delicious especially the home made profiteroles, filled with cream, ice cream and topped with shredded coconut crisped by heat and sugar. Fresh sea bass topped in beurre noisette and served with small potatoes and steamed vegetables. All served with a crisp white Loire wine. It gets busy especially outside seating so booking is recommended, and worth the walk round the rocks from the sea front and not the "short cut" from the city steps.

Although English , we live in France and I chose this hotel mostly for it's location . Unfortunately I booked it six hours before the lockdown earlier this year . We then moved our booking date twice .. Which was no problem for the hotel . I booked a sea view with a BIG double bed (room 220 on the second floor ) ||On arrival , we easily found a parking space ... right next to the hotel . The hotel is modern with a lovely veranda outside . Booking in was efficient and we received a form to pre order breakfast the next morning .. Was very pleased to find checking out time was twelve noon .. and we could have breakfast as late as 10 am .We dumped our bags and made our way to the outside area where we soon realised that there was only one waiter .. who not only delivered the drinks but made them up .... We weren't in any hurry ... and amid storm Alex (?? ).. we sat in blazing sunshine .||The room was spotlessly clean , with a great view. Added bonus was the electric shutter which cut out any noise when we slept . A very small issue with breakfast ... as we ticked the ' summer fruits ' (??) option ... to expect a small bowl of various fresh fruits ... only to be presented with a peach each ?? . It might have been our mistake though .. other than that breakfast was nice .||Deciding that evening that the weather had turned we decided to eat in the hotel . Superb food ,... excellent service .In the morning the tide had come in , illustrating a whole new view of the bay between Dinard and St. Malo ( which can be accessed via a water taxi )....All in all , a great break ..... Other than the service outside , the whole experience was great .. and we plan to go back . P.S. Very dog friendly hotel

Yelp
Dinner I enjoyed food. I had foie gras, scallop with roasted vegetables and grilled apple and ice cream. I guess I paid €45 for these plates. It was decent dinner. I cannot compare this restaurant with a sophisticated restaurant in Paris but if you have a decent dinner in Dinard, this place is certainly I can suggest. It wasn't so noisy and very relaxing space that are what I like about.
