Very good value for money. However, the overall experience leaves a bit to be desired.
We came twice within a 2-week span. The first time, just my wife and I, was great: excellent wine, croquetas, pulpo a la gallega, bacalao with potatoes, nice environment (even if it’s very small and narrow), friendly service, great value for money.
Given our great first experience, we invited another family couple for a Sunday afternoon lunch/dinner. While we found the food still an excellent value, great fabada, cod still good, the overall experience was slightly less positive as compared to the first time: we had to wait quite long for a table within a cramped place, even though we had a time-certain reservation, very crowded and loud, we asked for sangria, it was from a commercial bottle, not freshly made, potato tortilla not up to their best. My guests were not terribly impressed, although we all thought that this is definitely worth of a third try, which will happen soon.
