La Vergüenza Viejo San Juan

Spent the day in SJ and our uber driver recommended this place and it was totally worth it. Beautiful rooftop views, and a menu full of options. I ordered the Churrasco a la Parilla with the chimichurri sauce and it was 10/10!! Came with a choice of sides, I ordered the Yuca Frita (one of my favorites) and Maduros (sweet plantains). Good vibes and music. Worth a try if in San Juan!

The food was good. I liked it. I had the dried pork nuggets and French fries. My wife got the fish tacos and those are highly recommended. Pina coladas are not worth it. Service is good but slow. Might be based on popularity... and it's a big place. There is the sidewalk seating, indoor main level, upper patio level, and the top patio. We waited about 40min for our food after sitting down and 30min after ordering it.

We had the most incredible experience at this beautiful waterfront restaurant in Puerto Rico! The views alone are worth the visit — sitting by the water with the ocean breeze and sunset was absolutely magical. The margaritas were hands down some of the best we’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, fresh, and dangerously delicious! Every dish we ordered was amazing — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. What made the experience even more special was our wonderful waitress, Jennifer. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made the whole evening feel relaxed and fun. If you’re looking for incredible food, top-tier margaritas, and unbeatable waterfront views in Puerto Rico, this place is a must. We can’t wait to come back!

I ordered the fish fingers and they were amazing. The Basa was fresh and was delicious, it's was lightly breaded . The views and staff are amazing. Just be careful of you are sitting downstairs. The birds attack the food.

Loved the scenery!!! The food and service were also great :) casual and fun! Ocean view :) Kelvin was a wonderful host!

I usually never post anything negative, the food was not hot so it felt like they forgot about us but it was good. If you are in a rush, this place is probably not a good place to stop. We spent $114 on one dish, one appetizer & 5 small drinks.

Kelvin took great care of us. Excellent service! The food was very fresh. Yum! Went back for lunch the next day and had great veggie and chicken tacos. Thanks Jayati!

Highly recommend this place and the waiter Carlos Emanuel! Food was really good and gave the feeling of puerto rican cuisine :). It's on the strip by la perla but it was good. my friend and I also got mojitos which were really good as well ;).
