If you want real amazing authentic Mexican food this is where you want to go. The music and atmosphere is great. The customer service is wonderful. The food was amazing. I got the Birria tacos. These are the best tacos I've had here in Troy. The consomme sauce was delicious too. I got the Tamarind aqua frescas which was made fresh. We got some chips with guacamole and it was absolutely delicious. So fresh and full of flavor. Everything is made fresh. I am definitely coming back. You will not regret trying this place out.

Authentic af! All all the places in the area if your looking for legit authentic food this is the spot. The food is pure and the staff and crowd that follows is proof! The place to go if you want real good Mexican food. They don’t have their liquor license yet but they are working on it, good things take time :) give this place a chance they are new and are the best around so far. I got the chicken tacos and they were delish. It came with free chips and salsa, which was green and hot. Great food and service!

AMAZING cuisine. Amazing green green salsa and thicker tortilla chips . It's very spicy with lots of flavor. We had chicken mole y chicken quesadilla. FANTASTICO . great Mexican flavors . Rich mole que ricoooooo. Will definitely come again. Waitress was beyond nice and inviting. Good quality togo containers, too, for the large portions. The coffee is very unique and has chocolate taste. For the price, you get a LOT OF FOOD . Great munchies for later. Rice and beans cooked perfecto. I didn't even get a picture because we ate it up so quickly. I would say the quesadilla is more on a drier side, but it didn't bother me, really. It still had good seasoning and flavor. I also got corn tortilla, but you can get flour. Very fresh ! Looked homemade. The chicken was beyond tender for the mole. Stewed just enough to stay on the bone but literally fell apart with the touch of the fork. I'm so glad an amazing Mexican place took over the Troy kitchen spot. It's a well-deserved restaurant for how amazing Troy Kitchen was. The only thing was it was a bit cold, and the lighting was dimmer, but they also just opened it. It really doesn't bother me that much bc the food was just 10/10. The decorations are very traditional, and the napkins are folded cutesy into triangles. A lot of love is put into the whole restaurant, and you can tell. It literally made my morning to walk in at 10 am and get delicious oxacan. I do wanna say if you are not used to more authentic Mexican, you might be very surprised what you get . This way, it is more traditional and not Mexican American.

So I have been to Mexican/ Latin restaurants all over the world. This is truly authentic Mexican food. The lighting in the building is poor, server was great. Beans and rice were great. The fish they use for Piscato Frito had a lot of bones, and not much flavor. The carne asada was good, but meat was overcooked and very tuff. I will probably come back and try something different next time.

Oaxacan cuisine in Troy?! La Victoria looks unassuming, but trust me when I say this is no ordinary Mexican spot. It's owned by a Oaxacan couple, who are incredibly welcoming the moment you walk in the door. If you've never had Oaxacan cuisine, I highly recommend asking the owners for their recommendations based on your likes and dislikes. If you're up for trying something new, give the Tlayuda a try. It's absolutely massive and looks like a Oaxacan pizza. It's large, thin, and crunchy as it's a partially fried tortilla covered with refried beans, lettuce, avocado, meat, Oaxacan cheese, and salsa. It's incredible! The fajitas are also ! I tried the mixed grill fajitas with shrimp, chicken, and steak, and the portion was huge. They came with homemade tortillas, pico de gallo, and avocado slices. I brought home enough for two more meals - they were fantastic! They also have a large selection of Jarritos - Mexican sodas. I'm so excited to have such a unique spot in the Collar City, and I'm looking forward to trying more menu items. Go as soon as you can!

It is our first time here We ordered a few different things to get a feel. We both loved our entrees by sadly the chicken quesadilla had no flavor.I saw some other plates that looked great. I would suggest coming and trying the tacos and Carne asada.
