"The brasserie offshoot of Villa Madie continues to foster simplicity with its market-fresh ingredients and enticing surf and turf combinations. The set menus are different at lunch and dinner, as well as being changed on a weekly basis. Less expensive than at the original restaurant, the dishes here are just as tasty (beef tartare with Tamaris oysters, real Marseillesôcissewith fennel, lemon tart. When the weather is fine, head for the terrace, which commands a knockout view of the pretty bay." - Michelin Inspector

"Nestling in Anse Corton, an unspoilt natural cove facing Cap Canaille, La Villa Madie is a beautiful contemporary building with a terrace, set in a dream location above the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Hailing from Normandy, chef Dimitri Droisneau has a CV to be reckoned with (La Tour d'Argent, Lucas Carton, Ambroisie); he fell in love with Provence, which serves as a constant source of inspiration. From dish to dish, his cuisine is light, subtle, flavoursome, fresh and aromatic, punchy when it needs to be, always surprising and original. All the magic of the South of France – produce from land and sea, its fish and herbs, wild and otherwise – is channelled to great effect in this cuisine. A case in point: the Carabineros prawn, red berry tartlet, in which the marriage of the iodine and saline of the shellfish with the fruit is in the realm of the celestial. Meanwhile, the charismatic sommelier has no shortage of savvy wine recommendations." - Michelin Inspector

The place is simply amazing . The service was excellent, no mistake or error. The wine list is super and real good pricing, except for the first growth Bordeaux- everything else was priced very reasonably. The food presentation and quality is up to three star. The chef visited every table- nice gesture. The atmosphere is magic. We will definitely return!

The food was beautiful and very good, but I was never overwhelmed by the flavors the way I’ve experienced in the past while dining at 3 Star restaurant at almost 400€ a person. I recommend trying it yours. The wine list was stunning and the service impeccable, not to mention the view.

With a stunning view of the sea, we enjoyed the best dinner I have ever had. The dishes showed so much finesse, intriguing flavour combinations, evolving tastes, and a perfectly cohesive menu (a.o. sardine/caviar and anemone). The recommended wine pairings were fantastic (a.o. a heavenly Gavoty Clarendon from 2015, and a Gros Noré Bandol from 2015 as well: kudos to the sommelier), and the staff was warm and attentive. This is a dinner I will never forget!

Brasserie du Corton Review (Not to be confused with La Villa Madie ***) The food was excellent. Really delicious and well executed. The highlights were the beef and oyster tartare, something that was novel for us. Also the veal dish where the meat was cleverly hidden inside the vegetables was a fun dish as well. Quite tasty! The negatives: It was really hot on the balcony, and there was no option to sit inside with air conditioning. There were no fans or anything to help with the heat on the balcony. Inside the "dining room" it was very disorganised and seemed like some of the staff's personal effects were just laying around. On a day with 34 degrees Celcius, perhaps having an air conditioned room for lunch would have been a good idea. The service was not good either. This is honestly not a place where you would expect to have to serve your own wine. But our glasses sat empty for 10 minutes plus, and our white wine bottle sat in the bucket while waiters walked back and forth. This is France, right? The country that invented gastronomy and wine service? The restaurant downstairs has the highest culinary distinction from a certain tire company, right? If you want to respond with "oh well, if you wanted that level of service, then go to La Villa Madie." Wrong. There are many hotels that have the brasserie - fine dining restaurants combo, and their levels of service are comparable. That was not the case here. To be fair the food was excellent, and on a less hot day in the spring or fall the balcony would have been lovely. Installing some ceiling fans would go a long way towards thermal comfort in the summer on the balcony, with the added huge bonus of keeping flies and mosquitos away from guests. The wine service and organisation of the inside dining room need improvement.

I visited this exquisite restaurant for lunch with my wife to celebrate her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was truly enchanting, with stunning decor that harmoniously complemented the breathtaking views surrounding us. Each dish was crafted with a thoughtful blend of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The presentation was a feast for the eyes, while the flavors danced across our palates, leaving us in awe of the remarkable cooking. The staff provided an exceptional level of service, taking the time to thoroughly explain the intricate details of the food and wine pairings, all in English. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel right at home. Having dined at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, we found La Villa Madie to be our favorite of them all.

After making a later booking, we decided to arrive about an hour early due to our hotel’s check-out time. We were pleasantly surprised by how effortlessly the staff accommodated this. As we walked through the restaurant to the outdoor terrace, we were greeted by a stunning view from our table. We initially dined outside but moved indoors later due to a change in the weather. The food was exquisite, both in taste and presentation. Unfortunately, a flight cancellation that evening prevented us from fully savoring our meal. However, the staff graciously expedited the service, allowing us to complete our meal while reworking our travel plans. They even packed the petit fours for us to enjoy on our way home!

Google
La Brasserie du Corton, not the 3 Michelin star La Villa Madie; a bit disappointing for the price - 3 course meal for 70 euros. Between the two of us we had steak and oyster tartare, braised leek, fish of the day (local white fish, texture similar to tuna), fig and lemon tart dessert. Cant say any component of the dish was really that memorable/unique.

Yelp
We had our first honeymoon dinner here. The views were beautiful from the patio, you could see the cliffs and ocean. It started to sprinkle a little and they opened large umbrellas and kept us there - thankfully the weather was brief and it was lovely. The service was excellent, as was the food. They accommodated my husband who is a vegetarian, which was great. He ate just as many courses as I did. This is a fine dining restaurant...for those who felt like they weren't treated well - you need to treat places in France with respect. If you show up to a fancy place looking very underdressed, you may feel their scorn/disappointment. Dress for the price and occasion and they treat you fantastically.

Yelp
We went there for Sunday lunch. A modernized version of the classic French meal. This place is nestled below a cliff, above a private beach--throughout the meal, my son and other kids were jumping up to wander down the path to the beach. My dh and MiL had the prix fixe menu, which was an unbelievable amount of food, plus they are not skimpy on the amusee bouches. I had the salad with lobster and ink vermicelli, which was delicious, as well as the Dourade, a local fish. All the seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. The sommelieuse was friendly and knowledgable, and highly attentive to empty glasses. The 'official' desserts were so incredibly tasty--I had a chocolate tart that I might remember on my deathbed--plus they gave us a stewed apricot with basil (?) ice cream before the dessert arrived, and then additional nibbly chocolate things with coffee. Expect to spend a couple of hours eating this meal--it's pricey, but for a once in a lifetime lunch, fully worth it!

Yelp
I went there for new year celebration with my girlfriend. Starting with the good points. The room is great and the noise level is good. The food is also tasty, so many courses I couldn't count. Maybe a little bit too much food for my stomach to take. I think the service is okay, but not very warm. It is really expensive and one could expect top quality in every aspect. Well the service is a little bit condescending in my opinion. Also I got sick, really sick basically an hour after the meal, I didn't get anything else so I am sure it is food poisoning. Not what I would expect from a 2 Michelin start restaurant! The story doesn't end here, I told them I got sick and they could maybe use this feedback to recheck food quality. I was told that I was the only one who got sick (which by the way is not necessarily true, maybe I am the only one who told them) and that the quality of their food was top notch. I only feel they refused to admit that they poisoned me. I will never go back there.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The food is not great and they are very rude and aggressive. When we complained, they lied about the situation and blamed us. If you are not French or are not dressed in black tie, they will ostracize you and make fun of you. Also, after we complained via social media, they stalked us and threatened us via our personal LinkedIn and email addresses. Very frightening, considering the cost of this place.

Yelp
Nice place but the food is mundane not that good and not up to the price be aware it is not an outstanding restaurant The experience is just not there Lot if room to improve

Yelp
Gracious staff, wonderful patio view of the Med and of what is said to be the highest cliff in France. They have enclosed parking on site before we entered the door,. This is a plus in this area of verticality. The service was attentive. Chef's creations terrific . I was surprised that the seafood local choices were few that day. House wine of local Cassis was so wonderful that it made us fans of Cassis whites. The staff seemed distracted before our leaving, and I was puzzled. Did we not express our pleasure enough, or later leave a large enough gratuity? So what! We plan to dine there again.

Yelp
The food is ok good but not outstanding and we haven't been surprise at all. We were expecting discovering something. Nice view but the building is too modern for the area and look like all these new places: aseptic kind of fake japanese style. Good but not what we were expecting never less you will have good time if you want too. They might have improve since then we went 2 years ago.

Yelp
Extremely rude. We went for lunch without reservations, at 1:30PM. When we arrived, we asked for a table for 4. We were told by the hostess that they only had a table for two, despite begin able to see at least eight open tables, and only two with customers. When we asked how late they served lunch, they said 1:30 (the time we arrived) when the sign on the door clearly said they served until 2:30. It was fairly clear they didn't want to serve us -- a casually dressed American couple with 12- and 16-year old girls -- instead of their haughtier clientele.
