La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Paris, Île-de-France) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"La Villa Saint Germain des Prés is a well-designed stay in the heart of the Left Bank, surrounded by bookshops, galleries, and easygoing cafés. Just a short walk from the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay, the hotel sits at the intersection of culture and daily Parisian life. Inside, the 31 rooms feature Paris-themed wallpapers, vintage photographs, and custom ceramics add texture and warmth. Views vary from lively Rue Bonaparte to the rooftops of Saint-Germain. While there is no restaurant, the bar and room service cover the essentials. It is a design-conscious base in one of Paris’s most walkable quarters." - Tablet Hotels

Just stayed here for three nights with my family. We stayed in a top floor penthouse suite which had two bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and a central living room area. Super quiet room with lovely AC that worked well and was quiet and the beds were very comfortable and the high quality linen. The rooms were beautifully furnished with art work and high end finishing and the bathrooms each came with a Dyson hair dryer (not that I used but wife and daughter very happy with this!) service was first class, very professional without being intrusive and we were never disturbed but made to feel at home. Can’t wait to return.

My husband and I planned our Paris trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary and we could have not chosen a better hotel. 5 stars can't do justice for this place. Great and safe location with lots of cafés, restaurants , beautiful gallaries and proximity to major attractions is cherry on top with amazing hotel perks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean hotel , amazing breakfast and very friendly staff and they really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were very touched with the decorations the staff did for us on our very special day 😊 We never had any issues during our stay at this beautiful hotel. Highly recommend this place specially it's your first time traveling to Paris. We can't wait to come back and stay again at this place 😊

Absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly gracious and welcoming. The concierge went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was stunning—tastefully decorated with extreme attention to detail. From the decor to the bedding and even the Le Labo soaps, every element made the experience feel truly luxurious. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is unbelievable and exceeded all of my expectations. I am very particular about hotels and do a ton of research on location, past reviews, level of service and accommodation details. The hotel looks exactly like the photos: meticulously renovated and every single detail thought out from the fruit in the rooms, to the daily turn down service to the responsiveness by the front desk and the bell person. Every single one of the staff are amazing. And the location of this hotel in the heart of the 6th arrondisement and St Germain des ores does not get better; walking distance to so many great things and so close to the metro station. As someone that has stayed in four seasons hotels around the world, I will tell you that this hotel gives the four seasons a run for it’s money. Well done.

I stayed at La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés in a Deluxe Double Room for 5 nights in March 2025 and absolutely loved it! This boutique hotel is truly wonderful. It was fully renovated very recently, and it shows.||All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Julio on the concierge desk who was always ready with a smiling morning/afternoon/evening greeting (he seemed to be there constantly!).||The room itself (Deluxe Double Room) was lovely and comfortable with all of the modern conveniences you would expect, and more! ||Heated bathroom floor! The largest and plushest bath towels of any hotel I've even stayed in anywhere in the world - and I'm not exaggerating! ||Two large screen TV's. ||Brand new coffee maker and kettle. And somehow the kettle boils water in the quietest way I've ever come across! ||Super fast WiFi - that never dropped out. ||Fabulous heating/cooling system that is controlled by a modern wall mounted unit. It takes a little working out (Julio showed me how to use it, when he ushered me to my room upon arrival), but once you get the hang of it, it's brilliant. ||Great artworks on the walls, with a hardcover book in the room that tells you the history behind each one and who the artist was. I found this super interesting and it added to the overall "specialness" of the room.||Plenty of desk space and power outlets for plugging all of your devices into. ||A lovely two seater leather couch to relax on. ||Beautifully comfortable king size bed. ||A turn-down service at night (with complimentary snack items). ||I unfortunately didn't get to eat breakfast in the hotel dining room, but it looked very good (as I headed out the front door each morning)! ||The hotel location is magnificent. I'd not stayed in this part of the 6th before, and I can assure you, I will now stay nowhere else whenever I'm in Paris. Fabulous cafe's & restaurants (including the world famous Les Deux Magots), boutique shops, and historical sites all within easy walking distance of the hotel. ||In future, I absolutely won't be staying anywhere else other than at La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés whenever I am in Paris. ||A truly wonderful boutique hotel.

I've been stayy ing at La Villa for over 20 years and have never had a bad stay. This boutique hotel is set in a beautiful part of the city conveniently located for both the Metro and the Batobus.|Recently completely refurbished, the hotel has been finished with real attention to detail. The decor is tasteful and rooms are well appointed with lovely touches (mine had a great bonsai tree which gave a great feel to the space). |The changes brought some changes for those who knew the hotel of old. I understand why the changes may have been necessary, it can now boast a wellbeing spa, small pool, massage and sauna areas. That came with the loss of the wonderful spiral staircase but the new space works well and provides a brighter space for breakfast (which is a buffet choice). |With so much change, I was concerned that the feel of the hotel might have been lost - I needn't have worried. Within a few minutes of arriving I was welcomed as a returning friend by universally friendly staff. |The heart of the hotel is unchanged and it remains my hotel of choice in Paris. In the words of that renowned traveller Arnold Shwarzenneger - I'll be back.

I had an excellent stay at La Villa Saint Germain des Prés. The staff were welcoming, professional, and genuinely accommodating, making me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, luxurious yet comfortable, with a bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. The towels were thick and plush, and the bathroom had heated floors—such a nice touch. The shower felt amazing, and the Le Labo soaps smelled so good I’m tempted to buy one for myself. Everything in the room felt high quality, from the amenities to the small details that made the stay extra comfortable. The location is fantastic—right in a lovely neighborhood, with charming streets and great spots nearby. I even went for a run along the Seine, which was a perfect way to take in the city. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely stay here again.
