Chinatown’s Sleek New Wine Bar Is a Dimly Lit Date Night Contender - Eater LA

"LA Wine is a cozy new wine bar opened by Downtown restaurateur David DeLuca in Chinatown. Located inside Blossom Plaza, it offers a relaxing atmosphere with bar stools around a wide wooden bar and low two-top tables. The venue serves wine bottles starting at $28, beers between $6-$8, and offers takeaway bottles and light snacks like meat and cheese. Open from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday." - Farley Elliott

Chill wine bar with friendly bartenders, good wine, good vibe and good music! A decent beer selection too. Came with a colleague and it was perfect for an after-work chat, would also be nice for a date or small group. They have a patio outside under the lovely red lanterns.

I used to enjoy this place when it was open… It was a nice, quiet place to get a glass of wine or cider and just hangout with friends under the lanterns. Only thing was we would actively avoid the owner/male bartender…. Hopefully someone (nice) moves in to the space soon

Wine and beer served warm....maybe the fridge was broken? The temperature of the keg was correct but the actual wine and beer was room temp. When we pointed this out to the owner he said he would not serve us. My mind is blown that that just happened! Customer makes observation: customer gets kicked out customer. WOW Extremely bad service and obnoxiously rude owner. It's too bad because the orange wine was quite nice.

The owner has some anger issues. Read the other reviews on here and on Yelp. He's quick to get angry about suggestions, like the white wine could be a little colder. He kicked me out. A shouting match ensued in front of other customers. I thought a bottle was going to be thrown at me as I left. I've attached a photo of him.

Man what can I say about a place that don't appreciate what others want to do for them. I passed by and wanted to enjoy a beautiful night out with an open mic night. Little did I know management didn't show. online it said open for business and it was closed, they kicked out the ppl who try and support them with entertainment and they want to be a sourpuss. I truly say it's a lost when you don't acknowledge who wants to help.

Easy going place to hang out with a tasty friend and a charming glass of wine or beer. Dark and shadowy, flickering candles and great tunes.

The wine was awesome and the bartenders were super friendly and fun to chat with. Everyone that works here is super interesting and passionate about wine and it really feels like a community when you are there!
