Labombe by Trivet

Delicious food, fresh ingredients and cooked in a creative but uncomplicated style! Really interesting wine list with great wines at every price point. Great location and beautifully decorated. Restaurant was a bit bright and quiet when we arrived, we were there very early to be fair. But it quickly picked up and it was busy by 8 pm. The Monkfish dish was by far our favourite dish, strongly recommend it! And the service was just fantastic, it made all the difference to our night! the two young ladies looking after us were genuinely lovely, seemed to genuinely care about their guests and service they were providing. A truly wonderful experience overall. Seats by the window are great, but you get to see the chefs in action by the counter or in the main floor. 10/10

Dinner at La Bombe by Trivet was an experience in refined simplicity, where precision and depth of flavour were perfectly balanced. Every dish impressed, but the bottarga toast and pate stood out as genuinely exceptional. Isa Bal MW’s meticulously curated wine list elevated the evening further from champagne and manzanilla sherry to a remarkable Turkish Fumé Blanc from Sevilen, cold skin-macerated and oak-aged for eight months, both precise and expressive. The en croûte pâté was quite simply the best I’ve ever tasted. A revisit is inevitable.

Big thanks to the team at LaBombe. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. The reservations manager Kaycee was with me every step of the way when I was planning my event, answering all my questions promptly. Everything went smoothly during, and the wine service was well taken care of by Assistant Head Sommelier Dolly. Could not have asked for a better experience. Best dish of the day was the Hot Tongue Bun by far!

Labombe is a revelation. A breath of fresh air in a somewhat dismal dining scene in Mayfair. Very reasonably priced and immaculately prepared food with high quality ingredients paired with a deep and insightful wine list. Pop in for a glass and a snack and come out enlightened and seeking more. Perfect service and a laid back but sophisticated atmosphere.

Delicious food and exceptional service! The mackerel was amazing.. The bar is open til late with a knowledgeable team to help curate your wine choices. Great space to have dinner. Will be back!
