La'Caj Seafood

I went to preview the new menu at La'Caj and OMG 😲... everything we tried was delicious 😋. I love spicy food and flavor and these dishes delivered!! It's a large and wonderful space with an inside/outside bar (there were hosting a paint and sip outside while we were there that looked like so much fun, everyone left laughing!!) I will definitely be going back again!!

I was invited for a birthday brunch and honestly the group was large and a bit unorganized for a restaurant of this size. Surprisingly, the food was hot; not a long wait to be seated; the staff remained present; and the DJ was awesome! Thank you for accommodating a crew of rowdy visitors.

The menu looks great. The execution though lacks. I don't think the chefs have ever been to Louisiana before and it shows. The atmosphere is different for what you would expect. Have hookahs outside and marble white inside. Interesting. Everybody seemed nice though. No complaints.

Concerns about one dish were promptly taken care of by our server Kevin. Everything else was splendid. Latoya, the manager was equally sweet. She took the time to chat with us to make us feel valued. We will be returning soon.

Tuesday night is a must! MC Marnell is the host with the most—she goes all in to make sure you have an unforgettable birthday or just a great time overall. She really knows how to set the vibe and makes sure both the guests and staff are enjoying themselves. Karaoke Tuesday is an absolute must-try! As for the food, the mixed fajitas are my favorite dish—so tasty and filling. Definitely a night to remember!

First time going, met with a friend who had been before. We sat inside, only issue was the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. Waitress was good, no issue there. Food was lackluster but not horrible. Half the items we inquired about they did not have. And it seems this is a repeat issue according to my friend. Food flavor was neutral but portion size is not worth the price. Drinks were good, probably the best thing about the place. Outside vibe appeared to be fun and social.

The breakfast hash with salmon was amazing! Customer service was great! Denise made sure we were taken care of. Love to go to local restaurants and get exceptional service with good food, will definitely go back.

So, I was invited to try this place out as a plus one to one of my wife’s numerous girls outings (spouses were invited for once) and upon arriving we sat in the parking lot waiting for the other guest to arrive, so I did as I always do and start looking up reviews and was becoming wary from seeing the low rated reviews and pictures. Well, after showing my wife and being told “ we will leave a place, if we’re not feeling it” as she described the “girls” normal routine. So we decided to give it a try and hope for the best. Well, the best is exactly what we received… from the drinks to the food and atmosphere, EVERYTHING was on point. I’m going to post pictures of my before and after because I literally CRUSHED. It was SO GOOD, I can still taste it a lil bit…lol definitely will be going back
