Wow would be the first word that comes to mind when thinking through the dinning experience at the Academy. Fantastic location with the added view and waterfront for sure helps. But where most restaurants with beautiful views fall short on the food quality, the Academy steps up and delivers. I tried their fish risotto. Now this risotto is not what you typically get but almost a blend with a Paella. So perfectly done, the flavors performing a ballet on your taste buds. After the first bite I got goose bumps all over my body, it was almost a religious experience. The vietello was very nice and tender, the thin sliced meat almost melting in my mouth. The grilled eggplant a delight. Service levels are hand in hand with the overall experience and to top it off, mother nature delivered a rainbow while enjoying the food. Love it

Nice view by the lake with Mont Blanc in the background. We were 4 and we spent 2 hours at the restaurant. The steak needed 60min cooking. Everything was delicious. 🥩 Steak + Polenta : delicious! 🥟 Ravioli Carbonara : too salty. ☕ Café + selection : delicious! 🍰 Tiramisu : made in front of us, perfect.

Every course was absolutely amazing. The hotel is gorgeous. Between the two of us foodies, we ordered many dishes to try, the antipasto for two, the veau Milanaise, the lobster pasta, and more. Every dish exceeded our expectations. This is of our favorite culinary experiences during our trip in Switzerland. My son and I really enjoyed our lunch here by the lake. Although it started to rain half way, the lovely staff came immediately to move our table under the parasol, made sure I stayed dry when I headed to the bar inside, and even gave us their umbrella to keep as we were leaving to our car. All in all, a five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We will definitely come back every time we are in Lausanne.

L'Accademia was such a pleasant surprise and honestly deserves a much better Google rating. Everything we ordered was spot on. The starters were fresh, well presented, and a great way to kick things off. But the real standout was the ravioli carbonara - absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. Proper comfort food done right. We ended the meal with a lovely tiramisu that was light, creamy, and not overly sweet, just the way it should be. The vibe in the restaurant was warm and relaxed, and the service was friendly without being over the top. Definitely a place we’d come back to and recommend to others.

The vibes at this place were great overall. The octopus had good flavor, but the texture was thrown off by a strange slimy membrane that was pretty off-putting. That said, the lasagna and ravioli were absolutely phenomenal—I still think about them daily. Our waitress didn’t seem too thrilled with us, possibly because we spoke English, even though we really were trying our best with French. She just seemed a bit frustrated and cold throughout the meal, which was disappointing. Despite that, the overall experience was solid—and miles better than Beau-Rivage. Would still recommend for the food, especially the pasta!

We had a dessert experience at this restaurant. Located at the lake side of Lausanne, this restaurant offers great tiramisu along with a unique cooking experience. The waitress simply cooked and prepared the tiramisu step by step in front of our table and presented us. It was lovely

Was so happy to come across this restaurant. The Tortello Parmigiana on the menu may possibly be the best thing I have ever tasted! Always so impressed when a restaurant applies the same imagination and innovation to vegetarian dishes that they do to meat mains. Was something for everyone including the children. Great service!

This spot was recommended to us by our driver and happened to be in our hotel. The setting is very nice. Nicer actually than we intended for lunch. I'd recommend this as a dinner spot. The food was wonderful in flavor. My only complaint is that the sides that accompanied the protein in the main dishes were minuscule. Make sure to order an appetizer or two if you are hungry. I also felt disappointed in the availability of vegetables at this restaurant as someone who appreciates a balanced meal. That took a bit of effort to achieve here. Another positive note, I greatly appreciated the care the server took around my dairy allergy.

Overprized mediocre food. Not really fine dining. Expensive wine. Nice setting but better Italians around the corner.

Almost broke my tooth on a stone the size of a pea in the risotto with morel mushrooms. The waiter was only mildly apologetic, saying that sometimes you get stones in morels. When I suggested that if that is the case, they should check them more carefully, he laughed.
