Nina Métayer's Paris: The World’s Best Pastry Chef on a Craft Shaped by Fire, Flour and the City

L'Accolade

"In a downright convivial atmosphere, the chef – a former sports teacher who has chosen to branch out – prepares tasty cuisine that he changes up every day. He makes ample use of produce from South-West France (pork belly, pointed cabbage and green lentils), but also borrows a smattering of Asian ingredients (carpaccio of Tokyo turnip, crab meat, coriander and black garlic). An appealing place." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic restaurant in the 15th district. Delicious food, top quality wine/champagne selection & a great service all combined in one joint. The owner is super friendly, with attention to the smallest details, explains the menu as if describing an adventure (where he went to get the ingredients, why they thought of this dish…). It’s really pleasant and engaging! Small menu: 3 entrées, mains & desserts. Savors condensed in exquisite homemade dishes! Tried the prawns with panko, hareng eggs, and potates. Delicious and generous, prawns were succulent! The main was out of this world: beef filet cooked to perfection, asparagus, glazed mushrooms. Tender, juicy and flavorful. Had a glass of Mailly champagne brut, top notch. A fantastic address not to be missed!

The best food and dining experience in all of our travels. From Nicholas leading the kitchen to his partner Milat running front of house this restaurant is superb. Ultra fresh incredibly tasty food served with passion by professionals. We basically had a diverse tasting menu and the origin of each dish was shared. Each was beautiful. Nicholas learnt to cook at his grandmother’s side and in his cousin’s Michelin hat restaurant and took a detour playing rugby and teaching before landing here in his dream restaurant. Milat is warm and fun and the ultimate professional, while making you feel like you’re a special guest in his family home. Love this place and many thanks to great friend Michel from PUC for introducing us to L’Accolade

High-quality food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Really enjoyed this restaurant. Truly a fine dining experience. They do a great job of presenting the menu options. Each of the items is put together exquisitely. Highly recommend.

Google
Good Michelin-listed restaurant. Losing a star because of a few improvement opportunities: - Small portions for the price (~30 for a main dish) - Very limited options for wines by the glass (3 whites and 3 reds, little-known appellations) and beer (1!) - Service could have been a bit warmer

Superb food, passionate crew and a lovely atmosphere! The service is welcoming, professional and very informative. The owner took his time to walk us through the brief menu in detail, explaining the delicacies of each dish. Their set menu comprising of 2 starters, 1 fish and 1 meat course followed by 2 desserts is highly recommendable. Priced adequately at 50€, this menu lets you experience the originality and creativity of the talented chef. Their two classics, slow braised pork and millefeuille topped with salted caramel are divine! This passionate team directly sources their fresh produce from the Rungis market, and the quality of the ingredients is evident in the dishes. The overall concept of L‘Accolade is well conceived, making this a must try stop for your next meal!

Google
Sensational set menu this evening at L’Accolade in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who really helped make the experience all the more special with unique insights into not only the wine we chose (the Syrah) but also all the individual ingredients that made our four course meal. We hope to be back soon to sample other dishes from the menu, especially since they do market-seasonal food.

An absolute jewel of a restaurant in the 15th arrondisement in Paris. The owners are the chef & host and produce amazing food & wonderland ambiance. Highly recommend this restaurant. Reservation’s recommended. They are open Monday to Friday lunch & dinner.

Yelp
Excellent and unassuming spot in a less-frequented-by-tourists part of the 15th. Well, I mean the whole arrondissement is less frequented, but perhaps this part even more so. That's not important. What's important is the amazing food you will find here. It's priced appropriately, so don't expect any bargains, but you won't have to break the bank either. Also has an excellent wine selection.

Yelp
This place is EXCELLENT! Liked it so much I came here two days in a row! Get the tomate appetizer to start. Trust me on this one. Don't even bother with anything else. It's just THAT good. For the main, the agneau confit, or the filet de boeuf were both delicious. The lamb was just deliciously caramelized, and the steak was exactly what you want a steak to be - well seared on the outside but saignant and perfect on the inside. The service is FANTASTIC!!! The waiter learned it was my birthday and presented our table with awesome desserts and a candle for me to make my birthday wish. Our glasses were always filled when we needed them. Truly a hidden gem. I'll be back soon!!!

Yelp
Excellent food and great atmosphere. The owner came and explained in detail each menu option and the food definitely met the expectations. Delicious options and wonderfully unique tastes.
