If you're looking for the best fried chicken, this is the spot! If you're craving delicious chicken tenders, this is the place! If you want a chicken bowl with all the fixings, folks, this is the place to go! This place offers a little bit of everything. From fish and chips to tangy salads and tasty garlic noodles, it truly rocks! The owners and cooks, Scott and Dianna, prepare everything on the menu, so you can't go wrong with any choice you make. They even create and make dog treats! Once you eat here, you'll definitely come back for more! Be sure to say hello to Scott and Dianna when you visit. I personally recommend the garlic noodles with the grilled chicken bowl. Lastly, please be patient with the cooks, as they prepare everything fresh and made to order. Don’t let the simplicity of Lacquered fool you, this place delivers. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is unmatched. Diana and Scott were incredibly warm and welcoming, from offering free samples to engaging in genuine, heartfelt conversation. When I took my first bite, I turned to my wife and said, “Those aren’t just cooks back there, those are chefs.” The night before, my family celebrated my daughter’s engagement at a well-known Brazilian steakhouse in Beverly Hills. With a party of nine, we expected a memorable evening, but unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing note. Lacquered was exactly what we needed to restore our spirits. It’s not about a fancy name or a 90210 zip code, a truly great restaurant delivers exceptional food and an unforgettable experience. And Lacquered does just that. Thank you for singing Happy Birthday to me, it meant more than you know. Oh, and the fried chicken? Hands down the best I’ve had in Long Beach. Five stars. 90210 could learn a thing or two from 90803.

I visited some friends in Long Beach and stumbled across this place running errands. Chef Diana was great. Ordered the large garlic noodles and chicken tenders. As the sign says "Food made to order. Please be patient, it's worth the wait!". Yes definitely worth the wait. Chef Diana worked for Wolfgang Puck, so the food is top notch. Will be coming back again.

Delicious Fried and grilled chicken severed here! This was my first visit and I loved it, The owner is really nice and has a positive attitude. They also sell Home made dog treats. All menu items are made from scratch. The ranch dipping sauce is tasty!

Really wanted to like lacquered, and have been wanting to try it for years. Unfortunately, I may have built up my expectations too high. Ordered the fried chicken and the signature garlic noodle topped with grilled chicken. Although both dishes are passable, but I was looking for much more. Fried chicken was crispy, but the meat under the crispy skin lacks seasoning/flavor. The garlic noodle is a miss, it's more like a soy sauce chow mein than garlic noodle. I expect garlic noodles to be garlicky, savory, and buttery, but it wasn't any of that. All and all, it's a decent meal that you may expect from a neighbor's kitchen.

I love this place. The food is real, and the people are too. The food is excellent and plentiful. But also, this is the sort of place that builds community. So, if you value that in addition to excellent comfort food, you should give them a try. We are suckers for Mac and cheese, garlic noodles, veggies, spring rolls, chicken tenders, and fries, but honestly you have no bad options here.

Walked in an hour before close, and the owner chef gave us some extra food. It is absolutely incredible. The chicken, the sauces, and the French fries are THE best in town. THE best.

The crispy pork belly was delicious! And the fried chicken were juicy with extra crunchy crust. We got everything made fresh, fries and chicken were super hot. Owners are very nice definitely recommend٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶
