Ladurée Madeleine is a lovely spot with a charming ambiance. I ordered their hot chocolate and the Plaisir Sucré pastry—my favorite on their menu. Both were delicious, with the hot chocolate being rich and indulgent. The space itself is really cute, and I love that there’s an upstairs section for the restaurant. A great place to enjoy a sweet treat in a beautiful setting!

I used to love Ladurée, but after the big conglomerate took over from the original French owners, everything has gone downhill. First of all, the food has significantly declined. One example is the Benedict dish, which used to be divine, but now it comes without salmon and is served with a tiny cup of hollandaise sauce—barely enough to moisten the dry, tasteless bun with just a poached egg on top. It’s now a completely bland and useless dish. The same goes for the French toast, which used to have a special sauce that gave it a unique flavor. Now it’s just a dry, soggy mess that barely resembles the dish I once loved. The service is another big disappointment. Previously, they’d help you with your coat and offer a more personal touch. Now, guests are left to sit with their jackets at the table, and the staff doesn’t seem to care much about the experience anymore. There’s also a disturbing lack of professionalism when serving drinks—staff will hand you a glass, touching the rim with their hands, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, the place has lost its charm and is no longer worth the hype, long queues, or the high prices. The only positive note was that despite being late, they seated us without making a fuss. Another downside: no one in the restaurant speaks English, which makes it hard to communicate for non-French speakers. This place used to be exceptional, but now it’s just a shadow of its former self.

Our visit to Ladurée in Paris was a mix of indulgence and nostalgia. The avocado toast with salmon was delicious, and my daughter adored the Isphahan ice cream. We also sampled four exquisite macarons with tea—an absolute treat. The service was good, but it lacks the refined charm it once had. Sitting with coats draped over chairs felt out of place in such an iconic spot. Ladurée isn’t quite what it used to be, except for the steep prices.

The best macaron in Paris! We bought colorful macarons each almost 3 Euros, the shop is beautiful, the taste is amazing, the staff are great, there was a macaron called Ispahan inspired from there and the pink roses🫢

The macarons are tasty enough! I preferred those with chocolate, but didn't like much the Marie Antoinette tea. The stuff very friendly!!

We loved our experience here beaaautiful interior and staff are very friendly. We had macarons, jardin bleu tea is heavenly good I highly recommend it. They close at 1830 so I recommend you go earlier in the day. They also offer food so check their menu as we didn't really try savory food there as we had lunch already and just went for tea and sweets which was soo good

The macaroons are good but a but pricy for the quality as well as the hot chocolate. Unfortunately, I expected more for the quality of service.

Expensive, but you can get 1 free macaron. Get the blue one with black spots. It’s a special one, some kind of tea, tastes like milk tea. A box with 12 macarons costs around 30 euros. 2,90 for 1 macaron
