I know they have a great in-store product, but I highly suggest that you go elsewhere if you are looking to do a custom order! I was just reviewing my communication with corporate and took 49 emails and numerous Long phone calls to get an invoice and pay for a wedding cake I was often receiving invoices for weddings that did not pertain to me. There was only one person that handles special events and she was very hard to get a hold of. It would take weeks to get a response several days before my pick up today, I received an email notifying me that The order was not going to be fulfilled because they didn’t have the flavor anymore. No worries, I replied back immediately and tried to get alternatives. It took numerous phone calls to get to that point.
Because the communication and service was so poor, I asked for a final copy of the order. I didn’t get it until the very, very end. When I went to pick up my order today, I called in to corporate knowing that the location does not have a specific phone number. They were unable to tell me where the store is located and where to park (located in a large mall). I picked up two large cakes, and two small cakes and the simple person that we’re working in the store was extremely gracious and helpful. What should’ve taken under 20 minutes, took about an hour.
There is definitely one bright shining star in this equation and that is Priscilla, customer service. I definitely came in hot, but she was working with me and extremely gracious, professional, and helpful. Priscilla, If you read this, I am sincerely thankful for your help today.
If you are able to purchase special cake elsewhere for a future event, I highly recommend it. However, if you’re popping in for a quick bite, this could be an option for you
