The ambience here is great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There’s paintings on the walls, live plants, old speakers, a tile wall that looks like a mermaid’s tale plus every area is set up a little differently with different chairs and half benches, even a couple hanging bird chairs. Unfortunately, the food and service is just okay. We started with NA limeades and lavender lemonade; lemonade was better than the limeade. The starter trio was okay. The salsa was blended and spicy, the queso reminded me of rotel, but the guacamole and chips were good. We ordered 3-4 different tacos on corn tortillas and the tortillas were overcooked and tough. The meat is seasoned well but the limes are dry. The birria with the pickled onions was the best taco we tried. The rice is just steamed white rice but the beans have great flavor. Our server Jaci wasn’t very aware of our needs. She’d walk by our table repeatedly without even a glance at the table or make eye contact. It seemed like she could only focus on one table at a time.
