I was invited to this place by my grieve Nick who currently works there. The place is my type of vibe..extremely cute! There's indoor & outdoor seating. Indoor is very classic with a jukebox, fooz ball table, pool table, & AND arcade video games which includes Ms Pac Man, ping pong machine, & my personal favorite Street Fighter!! The outdoor has a view of a railroad with active trains. The food was 10/10!! And service was great thanks to Mark! I highly recommend going

Google
I had never really noticed this charming place until a friend brought it to my attention, even though I had been driving by for years. It’s a cozy stand-alone building right next to the train tracks, offering ample indoor and outdoor seating. This spot is perfect for catching a game, and I love how it comes alive on certain game nights, filled with laughter and excitement. They have a wonderful selection of alcoholic beverages, and I appreciate that they also host open mic nights, giving locals a chance to share their talents. It's really a welcoming place that brings people together. The only down side is the parking can be challenging.

Google
Cool bar you can sit in or outside . Was there for traphouse wrestling free shows . Drinks are great , food from bar or from a vendor has been good everything. Only minus is parking .

Google
I'm not an Eagles fan, but after my first visit, "b**** I might be!" Def come check this neighborhood bar out 💯 specials almost every day and arcade games for the kids! Nice patio area and of course TVs everywhere. It's lit.

Google
My wife and I had an amazing time playing pool and met a handful of other very cool young professionals in their early 30s. It was a great experience overall. The beer was good and the chicken wings are out of this world.

I love Ladybirds! I’ve been going to their weekly trivia for over 5 years now (my partner has been going for 10 years). Best trivia in town with the best host!!! Food is also awesome. Curly fries slap. We hope to continue going for many years to come!

Google
Looking for a bar well this is a pretty good one. It’s got drinks and good food. The Buffalo wings are exceptional. I have trivia and bingo all sorts of fun stuff.

Google
Ladybirds is a hidden neighborhood gem where you can sip on a delicious cocktail or one of their many curated draft beers while you hang out with some friends or watch the game. You'll find them well equipped with plenty of TVs and even a large projector, always showing whatever sporting event piques your interest. I've been attending their Wednesday Ladybirds Trivia Night for about a decade now and must say the independent trivia duo of Jon Conner and Heather Ringman blow those cookie cutter Geeks Who Drink quiz shows out of the water. 14/10 would recommend Ladybirds to anyone, 15/10 for Wednesday night trivia.

Yelp
We stopped in at Ladybird's before going to the Texans game. We had so much fun, tons of beer options and seltzer options. They have a full bar and offer food. The staff were really nice and the food came out quick. The place is super cute inside and there are plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Also, it's dog friendly both indoor and outdoor. I highly recommend the Chicken Tenders Basket. The chicken is super tender and they give you plenty of sauce. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Here's a more constructive way to phrase your review: Review: I usually enjoy coming here, but I had a disappointing experience during my last visit. My group and I were having a lively conversation, but we were asked to leave because the bartender felt we were talking too loudly. We were all sober, and while we understand that bars want to maintain a certain atmosphere, it felt a bit harsh given we weren't being disruptive or causing any issues. I believe a more understanding approach would have been appreciated--maybe a polite request to lower the volume or an alternative solution. I'd recommend better communication from the staff in the future, especially with patrons who aren't causing any trouble. I'm still hopeful this was just a one-off, and I'll consider returning, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others. This review is still clear about the issue, but it offers constructive feedback and maintains a level of understanding, which can help the bar improve.

Yelp
Chill and feeling at ease, Ladybird's makes you feel free as a bird and in relaxation mode with the atmosphere, drinks, cool bartenders, and that 'come as you are' vibe. Not to mention the tunes playing in the background. I was here a few months ago to meet up with a friend. We split a bottle of CAVA (half price on Sunday) and sat outside enjoying company and conversation. We had a few others outside with us doing the same with a dog. Nice to know the place is dog friendly. Ashtrays are outside obviously for your nicotine/THC fix. There's also video games and a pool table inside plus plenty of tvs for games. Found that this place isn't too far from my pad so more trips here are in store!

Yelp
Ladybirds is such a great neighborhood spot and the service is always so friendly. The patio is such a great space for a perfect weather day. We tried bingo and steak night and were not disappointed! The steak is HUGE, seasoned and cooked great. Baked potato and asparagus were yummy as well! I will definitely be back to try more of their food options but drinks are priced well!
google avatar

Yelp
We had such a fun night at Ladybird's for their steak night and charity bingo! While the vibe and look of the place is dive bar, the food and cocktails (and prices) feel more high-end. The steak was delicious and cooked just as I asked, and my partner really enjoyed her burger. We split the elote quesadilla, which was really good. Their batch frozen margarita is REALLY strong and tasty, and the John Daily and Lemon Drops I had were equally as potent and delicious. The bingo caller with Blue Heron was so funny and lively and even though the crowd was light, everyone had a great time. While our bill was a bit higher than our usual night out at a bar, it was pretty worth it. I love bingo, so we'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved Ladybird's! It's giving high-end divey, neighborhood bar w/ awesome food and cocktails! The Ladybird burger is great and the tots are lightly fried to perfection! The margarita wasn't syrupy, but limey and fresh. The piña colada Old Fashioned was innovative and tasty. The food came out fast, the service was friendly, and the prices are great to boot. I have zero complaints. Can't wait to stop back by to try more menu items-- like those tacos I was eyeballing!

Yelp
---Dearest Reader, I write with full belly and heavy heart. Don't sleep on Ladybird's. Ever. Whilst being tucked away just behind the train tracks, you'd never know what truly amazing food lays upon your way. Real talk, chicken strips are like Cane's...BUT BETTER. You have to get their honey mustard to go with the meal. Burgers, amazing. Tacos amazing. Everything amazing and made with love behind the scenes. Big shout out to the kitchen crew that allowed me to make fried chicken tacos (well I didn't make it, but they let me order it). Everyone at my table was in awe over how beautifully they were prepared. This establishment has become a staple for our rec league softball team over the course of the last 6 years; mainly due to the amazing outdoor patio, hospitality and the overall ambiance of the bar/kitchen. You truly feel as though you're being surrounded by friends, family and even better food. Hope to see you there soon (on a Wednesday), ----Mitchell

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar if you like rude, miserable bartenders like Krystal. Save the trip and tip someone who deserves it.

Yelp
I've only been for bingo, but it's so fun and free to play. You can win bags with prizes definitely worth it and a good experience from (free to play!) bingo. Prizes usually include T-shirts and other alcohol vendor swag. Grab a drink, maybe a snack, and take part in bingo. Bingo night is also steak night. Steak night has a large steak, heavy pour of wine, whole baked potato, and a veggie for $30. You can win a steak night coupon if you win bingo. The bingo is on the patio where you can also bring your doggos! Their frozen drinks are very tasty and good bang for your buck. They also have trivia and other events to take part in. They have a lot of drink deals, such as crawford bock for $5 if the astros are playing. This place also has a pool table and some other games for you to partake in, so there really are a lot of options.
google avatar

L M.

Yelp
Didn't care for bartender on two separate visits this past winter and never went back again, drinks are too pricey to me for happy hour.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Good vibes. Very cute neighborhood bar. Came here to watch the Astros game & it wasn't too packed. They have a good selection of draft beers & because it was a game night drafts were only $6. ORDER FOOD & DRINKS AT THE BAR. The outdoor patio is DOG & SMOKE FRIENDLY. We got their 2 specialty drinks for the night. SPACE ODYSSEY & FOR THE H. For the H was their weekly frozen. It was too sweet but quite strong. Did not expect the space odyssey to come in a tiki cup. The OLD FASHION & SIMPLE RICK were solid cocktails. Typical bar food but tasty. The ELOTE QUESADILLA was greasy but in a good way with pops of sweetness from the corn. The SLIDER TRIO came with pineapple & that sweet & savory combo was delicious. A fan of this chill bar I can see myself frequenting here more often.

Yelp
I went to Ladybirds around 7 p.m. on a week day. I figured it would be busy because of the location and time of day. I didn't anticipate they would only have one bartender taking orders and making drinks. She did an awesome job but there definitely needed to be someone else helping her since there was more than 12 people in line and the line took 15+ minutes. Other than the staffing issue, their food and drinks were great. I just snacked on chips and guacamole which was surprisingly delicious. If you like super salty chips like me, these are for you! If not, you might want to tap your chip a couple of times to get the salt off. The drinks were unique and the recipes were spot on. This place is a little expensive for the fo ambiance as it's definitely more casual but the drinks are worth it.
google avatar

Grace R.

Yelp
Great wings/ wing recipe made by the bartender Mark and nice open bar, inside and outside seating.

Amy F.

Yelp
I felt it was a pricy for the casual atmosphere. Service was very slow but the food was pretty tasty. Maybe they have better specials on certain days?
google avatar

Casey B.

Yelp
The little hippie chick bartender is kind of annoying. She's got that real sarcastic hey I'm so cool and everyone else is a looser attitude. Total Karen. But besides her love the place. Good food and nice game room.
google avatar

Erica G.

Yelp
Super cool place. Came on a Saturday night and was STARVING. I heard their food was BOMB so had to go in on it. I ordered the chips and guac with an order of 6 wings. Half lemon pepper and half cajun BBQ. Wings are amazing and loved the tangy/sweet flavor. The chips and salsa were awesome but the guac wasnt my favorite. Great music by their DJ Gonzo. Awesome ambience and overall vibe. Not to mention their tatertots are magical. Had a taste of those too! Would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to love Ladybirds. It's such a great location and the drinks are well made. However after witnessing a dog owner allow his reactive dog to attack 3 dogs within the hour (inside the actual bar and NOT the patio) and at one point offleash it upset us to no end that the management did not step in and ask him to leave. This is supposed to be a dog friendly place. Do not bring your dog here.
google avatar

Rachel I.

Yelp
Ladybird's is a laid back bar with a great patio and fun weeknight events. Tuesday night is Charity Bingo where playing is free and Ladybirds does the donating ($200 to the charity with the most votes from winners each night). While the charities are the real winners, you can go home with prizes (which normally include alcohol branded item or a steak night voucher). If you tie with someone though, prepare for a no music dance-off tie breaker! They also host trivia on Wednesday nights. As far as drinks go, they have a good selection of beer and cocktails. My favorite are their mules which are more gingery which I love. They also have a small but tasty food menu! While the parking lot is small, you can park on the street by the train tracks.
google avatar

Jay A.

Yelp
Ladybird's is an absolute gem! Casual, laidback, pet-friendly spot with amazing bartenders who know what they're doing. From classics like martinis and old fashioneds to frozens and a solid selection of draft beer, you just can't go wrong. And don't be fooled by their little food truck - breakfast tacos, pulled pork elote quesadillas, chicken strips, sliders and one of the best burgers in Houston! Did I mention curly fries and tots?!? And everything is always delivered to your table fresh and hot. And sometimes, if you're lucky, they have oysters!
google avatar

Lindsey L.

Yelp
Great drink specials - came here midweek to meet some girlfriends and had a great time. Their cocktails are decent, and they have lots of outdoor seating/outside TVs to watch sports or whatever you want.
google avatar

Sydney F.

Yelp
I've been a regular for a long time and it's been a huge decline over the years. Bar staff has changed over the years, including management. With this, the quality has gone downhill. Drinks, drafts, no quality spirits, food is meh, music is laughable. A lot of things are out of stock. Staff does not know about their product and what they are supposed to sell versus the old staff from years ago. I came in, waited for a drink and was skipped over. When I asked the staff, the female bartender let me know that was the owner and he always got served before patrons. What a class act. The only day worth going to is Wednesday for trivia. It's always busy and the host is funny. Otherwise, there are better bars in the area.
google avatar

Jena P.

Yelp
The name of this drink is called the Feathered Lady... It was strong. Tequila was involved as well as some deliciously seasoned mango and a piece of pork skin that I just left on top for the look! The other drink is called kick start my heart! It wasn't mine and he ordered my drink afterwards so...

Amara V.

Yelp
Great space, great people. Love the food and drinks, you can bring your dog with you and they have dog bowls available.
google avatar

Ruby D.

Yelp
You know how they say your first time is kind of awkward and weird? That wasn't the case here at all. Ladybirds did all the right things ;) We ended up being here for a feeeew hours Saturday afternoon when it was supposed to be just meeting up for "a drink". Yu drinks and the most entertaining, genuine bartenders! I definitely liked the crowd too, such a nice combo and made some friends throughout the evening. We tried some food cause uh, alcohol. And it was decent not the best but bartender told us they're going to start up a whole new menu soon so everything's changing. They have a pool table, foosball, saw a connect 4 and jenga blocks. Video games as well. All in all, I'd say Ladybirds would get a call back...

Sean A.

Yelp
Ladybirds is one of my favorite bars in houston. It has a solid cocktail menu and a great selection of beers. Their patio is one of the best drinking patios in the city. During the week they have charity bingo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is Ladybirds Trivia Night, the longest running independent trivia night in Houston, which is very fun and very competitive!

Benjamin I. S.

Yelp
Cool little joint. Variety of food and drinks. Cool atmosphere though literally a bit hot inside

Matthew G.

Yelp
One of my favorite local sports for years. Ownership and staff has changed but I've always felt welcomed to a fun friendly atmosphere. Drinks are good value and bar staff is quick and attentive. Food truck on site is solid and has a few standard options and a few unique ones. Trivia night is my favorite in town! But they have other fun nights as well like Bingo and Kareoke
google avatar

Leah S.

Yelp
The food was fairly good and came from a food truck. I had the nachos and they were served quickly. Bingo was fun and free to play. One step above dive bar vibes. Unfortunately, the bartender was in a terrible mood and rude to all customers. She made a mistake charging my order (charged twice and for the wrong amount), but made it seem like my fault. I would not return. Many other bars with friendly and more professional staff.
google avatar

Tasfia A.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday evening with some friends to celebrate getting vaccinated from COVID! It's a nice, chill patio bar where you can bring your pup. I enjoyed the drinks, although the bar was super understaffed. There were 1.5 bartenders (the second bartender was in and out). The one bartender consistently at the bar was working super hard to serve the growing line of customers. It took a long time to get a drink and pay. I really liked the atmosphere, but I wish it could have been staffed better so that the one bartender wasn't so stressed and that the customers could get the service more quickly. Parking situation: on-site
google avatar

Ashley Y.

Yelp
I do like this place tho especially it's pet friendly. I made it here on a Friday evening and it wasn't that busy. However, it still took us a long time to get our drinks. That might be a reason I just rated 3 stars. They have a nice patio outside for the dogs. Several games that you can play. I ordere the ladybird drink and it tasted alright. I would love this place more if they can serve the drinks faster.
google avatar

Caroline B.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while now, and I was impressed by the ambiance and outdoor seating. The whole bar was very Covid friendly, and I felt safe the whole time. When it comes to value though, I feel as though this bar didn't really have everything I would expect for a casual spot. The prices were relatively high for drinks (the happy hour only lasted until 6pm), and the food was served in pretty small portions. I also ordered a gin drink, and my friend and I were pretty certain there was no gin added at all... this could be due to the fact that the bartender was new though. Overall, I was sadly less than impressed. I will give it another shot one day!
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
I am a very frequent visitor to Ladybirds, I have always loved their atmosphere and service. But after my experience last night I was very disappointed.... The bartenders appeared to be very rushed and unattentive to the customers. We ordered beers and two meals but only one was rang up, when we returned to order the second meal that we didn't receive it was rang in wrong. We didn't want to bother so just sucked it up. When asking the bartender to verify the ABV of a beer since the brewery website said differently we were face with a very snippy short response. When it was time to close out we specifically said close out the card on file and we will open a new tab on a new card. They closed both tabs on the new card, going too fast and paying attention. We are very aware that places are short staffed due to this pandemic but the service we received was less than par. As we have been here during this time with no issues like these. We hope to go back soon, but last night left a very sour taste for us.
google avatar

Olivia M.

Yelp
As much as I REALLY wanted to love this place, my friend and I had a very bad experience here. The bartenders were seemingly nice but one was giving me creeper vibes and I couldn't put my finger on why. He was saying these slight inappropriate things to my friend and gave us a shot we did not order. We ended up going to another bar afterwards and my friend began to start feeling ill. She ended up in the ER and she had been roofied. No one else had access to her drinks as she was with them the night entire time. I will not be returning and hope no one else has this experience here but wanted to put a forewarning out there. Also, why on EARTH was there a cat in the kitchen area? Isn't that against some sort of health code?
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Cool little hang out with good variety of drinks. Beer selection is really good and mixed drinks are good. They have a food truck that's good. Old video games and pool table. It's our go to in the Heights area.
google avatar

Rachel Y.

Yelp
We came here last night for some bingo and fried chicken. Nothing like good food and fun entertainment. They have fried chicken on Tuesdays. Come give it a try. It by far is the best fried chicken I've had. Juicy, crispy, with a side of mashed potato which was bomb. I haven't had fried chicken where the meat just falls off the bone before. Bartenders were nice. Inside was clean. There's a huge connect 4 you can play outside along with a ping pong table. Patio area is nice with picnic style tables. The bar is really close to the railroad track so it can get loud when a train passes by. Definitely would be back!
google avatar

Sabrina V.

Yelp
I came here for the first time to watch the wild card playoff (Eagles vs Seahawks). If you happen to live in Houston and you are an eagles fan this is the place to be. Everyone is decked out in eagles' gear and you feel at home. Also their buffalo hot sauce wings are amazing. I will be coming back here and recommending it to my fellow eagles fan. This place is a hidden gem, get here early on game day because parking is limited but you can park on the street.

Michael M.

Yelp
Excellent, cozy neighborhood bar with a choice of a dozen craft beers on draft at any one time (in addition to regular domestic and bottled beers) and excellent cocktails. Staff and bartenders are friendly, pleasant, and offer a high service level. It's a great place to watch sports, shoot pool, or join in trivia contests, and it also has nice outdoor spaces enhanced by the trains that go by and a good food truck. I recommend it over NettBar, which is also a really good neighborhood bar.
google avatar

Paige S.

Yelp
Great vibe! This bar is so cute. We went for a trivia night, which was fun. The prizes they give out are insane. They also have a crazy good and long happy hour, so that was an A1 find in my book. Plus the drink prices were already better than most bars in Houston! One piece of feedback - we ordered wine while here and I'm not sure if the bartender was listening or maybe just got the glasses confused but we were getting different wines with each glass? All were red of course, easy to tell that hah, but the taste changed with each. None were bad though so guess it's good to know they have a great selection! Haha

Mariana M.

Yelp
Great happy hour menu! I'm obsessed with their margaritas. They are my favorite. It's a relaxing nice place to sit at with your dogs. One of my favorite bars with one of my favorite margaritas. I wish they had more around the city so I wouldn't have to drive 25 min to get to it though. When I've been with my 2 dogs, the bartender brought water bowls out for my dogs and was so sweet. Highly recommend for hanging out with friends, going for a date night with the dogs, and for watching a game on their big outdoor screens. Love this place!! Their food variety is limited but it doesn't matter, I still love the vibe of this place.

Yelp
We were so anxious to check out Ladybird's while we were in town, so stopped in this afternoon hoping to get some brews and check out the food truck. We walked in, sat at the bar, and there were a couple people sitting at the far end talking to an employee. No one greeted us, but we patiently waited a few minutes, and another employee, a taller, thin guy came behind the bar and walked right past us to go over and talk to the group at the other end of the bar. He glanced over at us a couple times and didn't engage us at all. In short, we were there about 10 minutes with no other customers around, without being spoken to at all. I'm not going to beg to be served in any establishment and I must say, y'all must be doing a helluva great business to cherry pick which customers get service. We left, went around the corner to El Tiempo, and had great food and service.
google avatar

Anel A.

Yelp
This place is one of those bars that every neighborhood should have, love the whole vibe. Service is awesome, atmosphere is great and the food is very good (try the quesadilla).

Ivan M.

Yelp
Solid neighborhood bar with a good staff. Don't expect much from their food menu, it was pretty mediocre.
google avatar

Pierre H.

Yelp
If you are looking for a spot in the middle of nowhere but right in the middle of everything, this is you place! Because of the location you could very easily pass it up and not realize it's there even if you are looking for it. But it is right there out in the open of a very busy area. I have been here a few time and the experience is always different but the service is always the same. You will find very different crowds on different nights of the the week so it makes it interesting every time you go in. But the service has always been great, and because of that I don't object when ever some suggest it as a HH (Happy Hour) spot.
google avatar

Casey S.

Yelp
Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Don't even bother bringing your dog unless you want an argument
google avatar

Jason D.

Yelp
I met my peeps up here. My best friend's brother just moved in two streets over. We came in on a Saturday early, so the place was on chill mode. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. I went with a sid vicious to start with. I love my gin. I made it to a frozen rum and coke. It was great until the brain freeze...... the struggle is real. They also had a food truck on location. Munchies satisfied. Mortal Kombat was free play. Buck hunter was dollar up. Take what you can get. Solid place. Will go back.
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
This place is super cute and chill with UH-MAZING service. My food was out moments after I ordered it at the bar and both of my drinks were great. This place has a great vibe, I would def visit again.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
The bouncer walked up to my group (we came here after a wedding) and accused us of stealing the bartender's bar spoon. He said he had watched the video and someone in our group stole the bartender's "personal property". He said we were allowed to discuss it between ourselves and as long as the spoon was returned, all would be forgiven. We had a group discussion and surprise, surprise; nobody took the spoon. I honestly wish one of us had stolen the damn spoon. Thank you Ladybird's staff for the entertainment tonight. We. Will. Not. Be. Back.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
Yes! Go here. Chill bar. TV's, games, tasty craft cocktails and lots of beers for the beer people. Food from the food truck is delicious, burger, tater tots, fancy Turkey sandwich.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
The quesadilla and nachos were delicious- house made queso and slow-cooked pork really set them apart from the norm. I had a Sparkling Lady to drink- yum. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is very chill. There are TVs to catch a game, or you can play one yourself on any of the arcade games, foosball or pool tables. There is also a jukebox- 3 plays for a dollar. Check this place out! Walking distance to Solaro Estate Winery- that's where w43 headed next.
