Lafayette Grande Banquet Facility - Traveling Chef Catering

I literally cannot recommend Lafayette Grande enough. It was the perfect venue for our wedding, and the team was great every step of the way. Greg and Lauren were amazing, answering every questions and being incredibly generous with their time as we got everything booked and set. Ryan was a huge help the day of, and things wouldn’t have gone off like they did day-of without the help and care of Bridgette. Everyone there ensured our day would be perfect, and it was. Everything went off without a hitch, our guests had to best time and so did we. The only bad part is we can’t do it all over again. Side note: Be sure to book the speakeasy for after your reception.

We used Lafayette grande traveling chef for our wedding last weekend and we got SO many compliments on how good the food was. They are very reasonably priced, made the entire process so smooth which is appreciated while planning a wedding, and offered so many great dishes it was hard for us to narrow it down. We also loved that we were allowed to attend a few different tastings leading up to our big day. Couldn’t recommend Chef Ryan and his staff enough!

Worked with Shauna and the staff at Lafayette grande for my sister’s wedding. They were an incredible team, easy to work with, always available to answer questions, and they went above and beyond the day of the wedding to make it an unforgettable experience!

Ryan was our point of contact my daughter’s wedding. He was extremely responsive and accommodating. Ryan will work with you to make the day special. We had a roasted pig which was superb. The rest of the food, especially the pasta was wonderful. I was concerned there would be long lines at the bar because it was an open bar all night. That was not the case. They had enough bar tenders to keep the line moving. The prices are reasonable, especially for top notch food and excellent customer service. They support the military too! I highly recommend the Lafayette Grande for a wedding reception. I would hire Ryan and his team again in a heartbeat.

Wish I could give ten stars!! We got married there last month and it was incredible. Both the owners + staff went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect. They are so helpful and the food was amazing. So many of our guests said the food was 10/10. Shauna and Bridgette are literally the best and were so helpful. Thank you for everything!!

We got married on 10/29/2023 on the 2nd floor ballroom. Lafayette Grande went above and beyond and helped to make our dreams come true. It was absolutely perfect, from the owners taking the time to get to know us and make sure we had everything we needed, to serving us our food, giving us leftovers and so much more. We had access to the Pontiac Lounge to store our things as well as the outdoor balcony where my Husband was able to smoke cigars with our friends and family. Highly recommend the Lafayette Grande, not only for weddings, but any event! Don’t forget to ask about the history of the building itself, definitely worth taking the time to learn about.

My friend's wedding was here and it couldn't have been better! 4th floor ballroom was gorgeous, Bridget the manager was very polite and helpful! She thought of everything!! And all the servers were sweet. The bartender David was amazing, I love this venue!

We had our wedding and reception in the Crystal ballroom. Everything was amazing! The food, bar, staff, and ballroom were outstanding. I highly recommend the Lafayette Grande! The owners are amazing and so knowledgeable about the buildings history. It is a one-of-a-kind venue that you and your guests will not forget!

Beautiful facility and WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! The taste testing's through the months were the bomb, and a great way to get a feel for the food. You'll get to know the staff very well, as they help you up and down the elevators and give you tips and tricks. The brothers were all so nice and present throughout the entire process, along with Lauren, always stopping at every table to make sure you have everything you need. I love that they even have the bar open during the testings. The day of my wedding went perfect. They fed everyone so fast, and everyone complimented the food. We provided our own charger plates and this facility even washed them all for us before we went to pick them up the next day. They had the few things we left in an area for us, loading everything in and out was perfect, I just loved it. They really made my wedding day so special. I recommend them to everyone. We toured numerous venues and as soon as we saw this one it was a no brainer. We booked the Crystal Ballroom and it was just so amazing. We loved it. It's also a great venue to have kids.

Attended a wedding at this grand place, that I never knew existed. Tons of charm and character in this old building. The pre-wedding hour included finger food - some of best lamb chops ever! Service was incredible as was entire venue. Main course food just a bit cold and bland, but didn't damper a great evening.

We had a group dinner in the "speakeasy" room and it was terrific. The bartender was outstanding in both her knowledge and lovely personality. The servers were equally thoughtful and professional. And, especially for a large group dinner, the food was great. Veggies were cooked perfectly as were the entrees. I very much recommend holding an event here

They catered our graduation party at a venue of our choosing. Their prices are great and they were wonderful to work with! My son and I have food allergies and Ryan is awesome! He was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Greg was also great to work with. They delivered per our request, were prompt, professional, and amazing! The food was FANTASTIC! All our guests loved it! And 80% of the dishes were made gluten-free and dairy-free, and you would never know. Highly recommend!

We are very happy that we chose this venue to help make the day go smoothly. We were extremely pleased with the banquet hall itself, but more importantly, the food. We received multiple compliments from attendees as to how much they enjoyed what they ate, and how impressed they were with the hall. We will definitely be keeping The Lafayette in mind for future occasions.

Just had my daughters wedding at Lafayette Grande and could not have gone better. The venue, the service, the food, the setting, and the staff were all outstanding. The family owned and operated team was so great to work with and were very flexible and creative. the buffet went so smoothly - 230 guests served in under 25 minutes and was well presented. The cocktail our on the balcony was a great start and offered a great view of the main floor and The 3 brothers were all present during the night to make sure everything went well and it did! The taste testing set up is also outstanding. they host a monthly testing and is set up buffet style. you can attend as many as you like and can make requests for items to be included to test out the many menu options. the brothers are available as well as Lauren who handles a lot of the bookings. She was great to us and did such a great job with our first tour of the facility. As icing on the cake the cost was the most reasonable than any other place we visited. if you want a unique venue with a lot of truly special touches this is the place for you! We could not have been more pleased.

We had our wedding here in The Grande Ballroom and are so happy with how everything turned out! They have tastings once a month where the bride and groom eat for free, so we were able to try a lot of their food before we decided on our final menu. On our wedding day the food was even better than any of the tastings we had been to. We picked the roasted beef and carved pork butt which were both delicious, but the vegetarian alfredo lasagna is one of the best dishes I have ever had and was a huge hit! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful the night of our wedding. The venue is family owned and they were all helpful during the entire process. We were also lucky and had the room free the Friday before so we were able to set up early which was super convenient. The room looked gorgeous the day of, and all of our guests loved everything! We were also able to bring our own cake in without an extra fee, which some venues we looked at did not allow. For anyone looking for a unique wedding venue I would highly recommend Lafayette Grande!

My wife and I couldn't be happier about choosing Lafayette Grande for our wedding reception on July 3, 2016! We loved the building right away and soon loved the way the whole operation was run. Prices are fantastic, the food was delicious, the building has such great character, and the entire staff - from the brothers in management to the servers on the floor - were phenomenally accommodating! Brothers Ryan, Rob, and Greg were low pressure at our first walk through and very flexible throughout the entire process. You can tell they put their heart and soul into the building, their business, and your big day. They communicate well and quickly answered questions we had. Quite a few of our guests commented to us on the quality of the food, the wait staff, and the bar service, and we weren't disappointed the day of either. We would recommend Lafayette Grande to anyone and would go with them again in a heartbeat if we had to! Thanks, guys!

Attended a rehearsal dinner and wedding. If you like a truly unique (historic and architecturally stunning) venue, this is the place for you. The food, waitstaff, bartenders, and management were fantastic. This is a top contender for my wedding. Great job Lafayette Grande!
