"Some of the mainstays have closed permanently, such as Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro and Lagasse’s Stadium, both at the Palazzo."

"Emeril Lagasse becomes the first celebrity chef to permanently close one of his restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip due to the coronavirus pandemic. His ode to bar food and sports, Lagasse’s Stadium, will not reopen at the Palazzo, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The sports bar that featured dishes representing NFL teams when they faced off during Thursday and Sunday night football games, a stadium seating area, more than 100 screens, and sports betting, closed when Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered all nonessential businesses including bars and casinos to close on March 17." - Susan Stapleton

If you love sports and love to drink and eat, you've got to try this place. Incredible stadium seating with couches, throw pillows and the biggest TV I've ever seen. The service is great here. You'll be well taken care of while you enjoy the game. Also a sports book inside if you're in the mood to gamble.

My choice for watching NFL football. Lots of seating options, the stadium, the lounge area, the restaurant area. Make a reservation for the lounge and you have your own TV and your reservation books your table for the entire game (overtime included). What I like most is that the entire place is non smoking. The lamb chops are my favorite thing on the menu. Must try! On the sweet side, the bread pudding is so good. Minimum spend for reserved seats, both times I went it was $75 per person. I ordered that in the first half of the game :). My servers were attentive and helpful.

Combining a sports book with a sports bar & grill is a damn good idea. It's a shame that both times I went to Lagasse's Stadium (once at 9pm, another occasion at 2pm the next day), I was told that the bookie wasn't around, and that I needed to go upstairs and place my bets on the Palazzo's casino floor. When I insisted that I read that Lagasse's Stadium was a sports book, one of Lagasse's hostesses told me "well, this place is for food." Really?! Because according to the Venetian's web site: "Lagasse's Stadium is the best sports book on the Las Vegas Strip, featuring celebrity chef Emeril's gourmet fare and more." That's right -- not just a sports book, but the 'best' on the strip. I'm sorry, but you can't be the 'best' sports book on the strip without bookies. And you definitely can't be the 'best' sports book on the strip if your employees don't know that you're a sports book! The confusion and false hype aside, the food I had was not bad by sports bar standards. Knowing that the restaurant's chef de cuisine, Scott Pajak, is a Buffalo native, I ordered the Signature Stadium Buffalo Wings. Having attended college in western New York, I'm picky when it comes to buffalo wings and consider any wings I've ever eaten on the west coast to be substandard -- until now. Chef Pajak's wings are massive, have an ultra-crispy skin (sans breading, of course), with moist, juicy white meat inside. The sauce was a just a tad sweeter and thinner than most buffalo sauces I remember from the east coast, the heat level was right, and most importantly the sauce tightly clung to the wings. The creamy dipping sauce, made of Point Reyes' award-winning blue cheese and loaded with garlic, was a nice touch. These were certainly the best wings I've had west of the Mississippi River. I somewhat enjoyed the Spicy Meatloaf Po Boy, which featured meatloaf, a spicy ketchup/BBQ sauce, fontina cheese, black pepper mayonnaise, lettuce, pickle, and tomato on a New Orleans-style French bread roll. While not the best meatloaf sandwich I ever had, it had good enough flavor, and made for a satisfying lunch. My biggest critique is that it lacked purity of purpose, everything was just kind of stacked together, and it seemed like the kind of sandwich I'd get at TGI Friday's or Chili's for $5-$6 less. Also, except for the pickles, the fresh vegetables were superfluous and unnecessary. A place with decent food, booze, bookies, and comfortable seating to watch all of the day's sports action -- that's the kind of place I thought this would be based on the advertising: somewhere I could sit around for half the day and make stupid bets while clogging my arteries. Due to this expectation based on false advertising, I was disappointed, I feel bait-and-switched, and my rating reflects that. There are lots of great bars and restaurants with televisions to eat at in Las Vegas, with comparable or better food, which is why a return in the imminent future to Lagasse's Stadium is not likely unless I catch word that they've decided to start behaving like an actual sports book.

Definitely don't come here for the food, but if you're looking for a place to watch a game then I'd say it's a pretty convenient place to go. We wanted to watch the US open, so the waitstaff ushered us to a booth-like setting with our own tv. The only problem is that you can't get your own audio - the sound to our TV was disabled and whatever is playing on the big screen above the bar is what you'll be hearing on the speakers. Since we were the only patrons at the beginning, we asked to change the audio to the US open game we were watching. They were kind enough to oblige until other patrons wanting to watch the football game started to trickle through the door. Fair enough since our booth is open and there are no walls separating our area from the rest of the bar. It was a comfortable place to stay, and decent bar food. They poke chips were a good appetizer, with generous chunks of ahi tuna soaked in soy sitting in a lettuce bowl. But the gumbo is something I wouldn't recommend. Although the shrimp and rice are somewhat well cooked, the andouille is very sparse and they roux is cloyingly thick and doughy.

Hope this helps someone planning a party. We had the Outside Veranda + 2 Patio Tables reserved 12 - 4 PM on May 4th total $1300 plus tax and 20% tip. Be forewarned that they will put this total on a credit card hold. The stays on your card a couple of days even if you close out with cash. We had the middle Veranda which does not come with a pool table, so we were allowed to move one of the patio tables into our section. We had about 26 people in our group and this area worked perfectly. Our group sales rep from Legasse's was Cristina Nieto. She is excellent and helped me to coordinate the set up of our area. She made it easy for the cake delivery and let us set up four different tabs for our group. Even though it was a party everyone in the group paid their own drink tab. The server did a great job keeping up with our party and kept tabs by using 4 different teams. We ordered several meat & cheese boards and they were excellent. We also had a couple orders of nachos (best nachos ever). Individuals ate burgers and other entrees that they ordered and everyone was very happy with the food. It was nice that they had someone that cut and handed out cake for us ($35 charge but well worth it). Letty the server was extremely patient with our group and did a fantastic job. Because it was an outdoor party in early May the weather was fine. I don't think I would host a party during the hotter months outside during the day. The area was covered and shady but not much air movement. We had a fantastic time. Thank you again Letty and Cristina. My wife's 50th Getting Down & Derby Party was a success. Would have been 5 stars but I think one server was insufficient for this large a group.

Great place to watch sporting events! Excellent good and decent beer, if not a bit pricey. Lots of screens in this place! Each table typically had it's own screen, or you can sit in the stadium seating and watch on the big screen.
