Lagos Tacos Ebenezer

It's a decent food truck yard in an industrial area. The woman and I assume her daughter were very nice. The Al Pastor and Shrimp tacos were okay, but nothing to rave about. They made up for this with the Birria tacos and consume. Those were excellent and may be worth a return trip for the 5 for $10 deal they offer.

First time costumer and I was highly impressed. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos and 1 barbacoa quesadilla. Oh, I can’t forget about the drink! A Watermelon and pineapple mix, extra fresh!! Everything was a 10/10. Service was fast too. And I love that it wasn’t cash only. I will definitely be back.

Wow what a great little spot. It's a food truck basically in someone's backyard facing out to the street. I ordered the al pastor burrito and a shrimp taco. The burrito was backed! I really loved the flavors. The two sauces I tried were very good. The Verde sauce was mild as it should be and the red sauce was good and spicy. Each was served with a roasted jalapeno and Verde sauce on the side. The tortillas are from Mawi so they are delicious. Maria and Grettie(I hope I spelled that correctly) are very nice people and are producing a great product in an area that needs this. Stop in and get a bite to eat; you won't be disappointed. They take credit cards also. And $2 tacos on Tuesday!!

We ordered 5 chicken and 5 birria tacos they were sooo good. We did have to wait about 45 minutes to an hour for our order but that was to be expected since it’s Taco Tuesday. Overall the food was a 10/10. ALSO be mindful of where you park on the street try not to block anyone’s driveway.

I absolutely do NOT recommend. The owner was very dismissive while I was ordering which is why I didn’t give him a tip. It takes a lot for me not to tip, as a former server. He was very unfriendly. Acted as if he was doing us a favor by being open. Then I noticed there was an error with my order. I thought I was placing 1 order but he thought I was making two separate orders. Because it was already made, he said there was nothing he could do about it. He tried to make me believe he couldn’t give me my money back because it was already made. Don’t take the risk.

Maria does her thang with these tacos!! Always fresh and authentic and her smile is the extra seasoning you need to be nourished by her delicious food. This is the only taco truck I will ever order from in New Orleans. Worth the drive, the walk, and the skip to her truck! I pray they never stop creating community and good energy.

Not a local. I’m here for work. This is one of my 5 go to must eat spots. The service and food is great.
