The 38 Best Manila Restaurants | Eater

"It’s impossible to miss this Cali-inspired taqueria, run by owner Mano Lotho, when you’re driving along Wilson Street in San Juan; just look for the detached industrial structure on the corner of Wilson and Arras with a couple of tables out front. Try the buche (confit pork stomach) and tempura shrimp tacos, along with whatever boozy agua fresca is available that day. Make sure to start with the chips and queso, which take advantage of the excellent house-made tortillas." - Toni Potenciano

Service was ok. It wasn't the best nor the worst. We did get out glass of water as soon as we were sat down. However, it took a while to tag someone to check out. We had the chicken burrito. It was on the chicken less side spectrum. The content was mostly shredded lettuce and some tomatoes 🍅 every now and then. If they added something else aside from the three mentioned above, I did not see it nor taste it. It did taste good on the healthy spectrum, but it is not typical of a Western burrito. It is a very localized recipe, as it was missing many ingredients found in a Western burrito. Perhaps, therein lies the conundrum. The way I see it, it is a mixed Filipino, Mexican, and Chinese fusion burrito. The portion was on the smallish side. However, I do appreciate the large napkins and pitcher of water at your table. There is a 10% service fee and credit cards are accepted.

Crispy saucy nachos with soft meat, delicious tacos and lots of side sauces. Lots of seating but the place itself is a bit small. It has a restroom inside. I really enjoyed their Nachos and the side sauces it came with (white sauce, green salsa, hot sauce?) also our server was very efficient and answered our questions regarding the menu well. Highly recommend! We were 3 and ordered the Knights of Round (had to take out the 3 tacos because they were bigger than we expected) and Supreme Nachos Carnitas. They also gave us a complementary Horchata Pancake probably because we came in early on a super rainy day so they did not have too many customers ✌️

Great burrito! Ordered the classic carnitas burrito with red rice. I love how the flour tortilla is warm and toasted for a bit crispy texture that compliments with the fillings (beans, cabbage slaw, rice, and of course the meat!). They also have chicken or fish options. it was a bit on the pricey side. Php 440 (classic burrito 400 + rice 40). Worth the try though and did not disappoint. 3 kinds of condiments were also served. I added all 3 for every bite and it made my burrito taste a lot better with a hint of spice!

my friends and I love dining here. always a good time :) 🌟 attentive staff members (they refill our pitcher once empty, ask for allergies, and accompdate my request for sauces when I take the chips to-go) ❤️‍🔥 bold flavors that just HIT the spot (we love their horchata and i super appreciate the seafood options as a non-pork eater) 💌 got a free horchata pancake too just in time for my birthday hehe

Shrimp soft tacos here are a must try! Food is fresh and delicious. I’ve only tried their nachos and soft tacos so far. Great place for a laid back hangout with friends and family. They have good customer service too! Staff are friendly and attentive to customers. The place has a few tables so it can get crowded during busy hours so make sure to drop by during non-peak hours.

Great for those who doesn’t want too big of a serving. Starter tacos are also great for first-time diners! Servers are nice and accommodating.

Cozy spot for burritos and tacos! 🌯 Tried the Breakfast Chorizo Burrito not usually a burrito fan but this one hit different. Sauces (Silantro, Mayo, Hot) make it even better. Definitely coming back for a night food trip! 🌙🔥

The food was good and very filling. We especially liked their tacos because of the meat they put in it! :) The burritos and tacos were filling and the dirty horchata was also refreshing! The place is cramped though. Maybe try to expand your place or transfer to a bigger location.
