Lágrima Salcedo

Snuck out for a quick late-night date while our toddler was asleep and found ourselves at Lagrima — perfect for a casual Salcedo nightcap and tacos. We ordered the cheese salsa quesadilla, street taco starter (carnitas, pollo asado, carne asada), and a mezcalita. The quesadilla was crispy outside with a gooey, creamy center but not overly rich. Carnitas taco was juicy and savory, balanced nicely by the carrots, while the pollo asado was our favorite — super flavorful with a refreshing crunch from the cucumber. The carne asada had great smoky char, though the beef pieces were a bit big for a clean bite. Good thing their trio of sauces (garlic, cilantro-jalapeño, chipotle) ties everything together. Mezcalita was refreshing with a fun sriracha kick on the side. Quick notes: most seats are high stools, so it may not be ideal for elderly or PWD guests. It’s also not baby or toddler-friendly, and parking nearby is limited.

Lagrima is a Mexican restaurant offering burritos and tacos that come in hard or soft shells. Well they have quesadillas as well as nachos too. The menu isn't as extensive as other restaurants which is a good thing as they've made sure that the items are all delicious. Prices are roughly the same other modern Mexican restaurants in the city these days which is about $2-3 a taco. There's a clean toilet. The staff are ok but don't offer info unless asked.

I had their quesadilla (+ spam and eggs) and strawberry horchata. Quesadilla can be good for two people and was filling. Good food! Pictures of menu taken Feb. 7, 2026.

Crispy saucy nachos with soft meat, delicious tacos and lots of side sauces. Lots of seating but the place itself is a bit small. It has a restroom inside. I really enjoyed their Nachos and the side sauces it came with (white sauce, green salsa, hot sauce?) also our server was very efficient and answered our questions regarding the menu well. Highly recommend! We were 3 and ordered the Knights of Round (had to take out the 3 tacos because they were bigger than we expected) and Supreme Nachos Carnitas. They also gave us a complementary Horchata Pancake probably because we came in early on a super rainy day so they did not have too many customers ✌️

Shrimp soft tacos here are a must try! Food is fresh and delicious. I’ve only tried their nachos and soft tacos so far. Great place for a laid back hangout with friends and family. They have good customer service too! Staff are friendly and attentive to customers. The place has a few tables so it can get crowded during busy hours so make sure to drop by during non-peak hours.

my friends and I love dining here. always a good time :) 🌟 attentive staff members (they refill our pitcher once empty, ask for allergies, and accompdate my request for sauces when I take the chips to-go) ❤️‍🔥 bold flavors that just HIT the spot (we love their horchata and i super appreciate the seafood options as a non-pork eater) 💌 got a free horchata pancake too just in time for my birthday hehe

Great burrito! Ordered the classic carnitas burrito with red rice. I love how the flour tortilla is warm and toasted for a bit crispy texture that compliments with the fillings (beans, cabbage slaw, rice, and of course the meat!). They also have chicken or fish options. it was a bit on the pricey side. Php 440 (classic burrito 400 + rice 40). Worth the try though and did not disappoint. 3 kinds of condiments were also served. I added all 3 for every bite and it made my burrito taste a lot better with a hint of spice!
