"What began as a street stall 10 years ago that shot to local fame now occupies two shop floors on the street corner. Red lanterns adorn the ceilings, and large photos cover the walls like wallpaper. Chinese vintage gadgets, like an abacus, decorate the interior. Lala means “clams” in Malay, and a bowl of flavoursome lala bihun with prawns is a must. The broth, meanwhile, is aromatic with Chinese yellow wine and ginger. Portions are generous." - Michelin Inspector

1. Install exhaust fans for your kitchen, your whole dining area looks like we’re in highland 2. Tables were quite dirty 3. I found a hair inside one of the dish 4. Service was slow (manpower needs improvement) 5. Food was not bad

The lala noodles are tasty and plentiful. The ginger soup adds a rich, comforting flavor that I truly enjoyed.

Normal lala soup noodle the soup is not bad. The fried lala mihun disappointed. The Lala not even consider edible. The frozen taste still there. They didn't defroze the Lala meat in a better way. Lala Soo hun disappointed. No taste just bland and garlicky flavour. Really disappointed , the online review not sure even real or paid. Really laughing stock. Only my wife finish as she don't like wasting. But I just threw there. I don't deserve this kind of food.

Good food, pleasant atmosphere, fast service. Very generous with the seafood. Lala noodle soup was flavourful and mildly spicy with strong lala taste. The lala was fresh and all well cooked. Lala claypot glass noodles was a different kind of flavourful and had lots of garlic. Prawn noodle soup had strong prawn flavour and was also mildly spicy. The prawn was sweet but overcooked.

I recently dined at the restaurant highly recommended by my brother in KL. Opted for the Lala noodles, and while the overall experience was good, I’d suggest skipping the added chilies as the ginger provides sufficient spice. The self-serve chili area is convenient, and adding cut chilies in the noodles seems redundant. The Chinese wine flavor was a bit overpowering, making it less suitable for kids. The clams were okay, but a considerable number were closed, raising concerns about freshness.

Went at dinner time on a weekend but not much crowd. Lala noodles actually very tasty but not a hype place somehow.

The location of the restaurant isn't great, and parking is very difficult to find, which can be frustrating. However, the Lala noodle soup is a highlight. The dish is simple, just noodles with pure lala (clams), but the flavor is nice. The portion of lala they give you is generous to the point where you might find yourself eating and still not finishing it—it's a lot! If you're a fan of lala, you'll definitely get your fill here.
