Lake Austin is mind blowing. Beautiful blue looking water, green trees and awesome houses on both sides definitely blow your mind. Please look at these pictures then you know what am I talking about.

Unmatched by any other lake so close to a big city.

Gorgeous lake.

One of our favorite lakes for the cool water and the beautiful location and homes, but the wake boats will beat you down after a while. If you can, travel up to the shallows in the north end of the lake where there's less traffic, but the water gets colder up there. It was 63 on the day we visited but the air temps were 102 so it made it refreshing!
