Spent 4th of July with family at Lake Brownwood. People who live around the lake are super friendly, waving hello as they pass and often includes an invite to visit later in the day. This lake gives you the true feeling of being an American in the USA.

I grew up coming to this lake every summer. Now, as an adult, we bring out kids here. Some of the bigger coves are great for anchoring down and letting the family just play in water all day.
