The Best Dog-Friendly Restaurants in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Trot around back for a seat on the patio with your best bud. Lake House specializes in fresh seafood, but it serves a mean burger. This is a great stop after a walk around the trails on White Rock Lake or in Flag Pole Hill park." - Leslie Chatman

Google
We didn’t have a breakfast spot in mind, just got in the car, searched for something nearby, and landed on Lake House. The menu looked solid and the location was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The exterior is cute and inviting, with easy access from the street and plenty of parking both in front and in the back. There were only two guests sitting outside with their dog, so it’s dog-friendly (hopefully just outdoors..I love dogs, but I prefer my breakfast pet-free indoors). We arrived about 15–20 minutes after they opened and were the only ones inside as the staff was still doing some light setup. The vibe was relaxed, and the place was super clean. The bartender, Alexander, was friendly and helpful. I asked for a breakfast recommendation and ended up trying the Country Omelet, his suggestion. I’d never had poached eggs before, but he encouraged me to give them a try, and I’m so glad I did. Delicious! I didn’t try the chicken and waffles myself, but was told it was decent. I wrapped up my meal with a shot of pecan bourbon mixed with a “secret ingredient” per Alexander, and wow—it tasted just like butter pecan ice cream! All in all, I really enjoyed the meal and the experience. Great service, clean space, and worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Google
After a toasty morning walk around White Rock Lake, I decided to stop by and try out the food here and wow, I was blown away. I ordered the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and that's definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The breading was perfect and the fish was flaky and delicious. 10/10 would order again. If you're in the area, definitely stop by.

Google
I would’ve never expected this place to be so good ! My wife randomly found them and let me tell you!! I got their shrimp & avocado salad, simple I know but DELICIOUS! I’d be back for that alone . My wife got their streak tacos & Omgg. The meat was so juicy & tender. Tyler our server was great as well! Already planning our next visit! Sorry for the lack of food pics, it was so good I forgot!

Google
I love this place! Tried their steak tacos for the first time, and ordered a second plate of them. They are soooooo good!!! Gluten free, high protein, and my sugar levels did not spike!

Google
Great place to stop by after/before visiting White Rock Lake! Staff was the best I could ask for! They were super friendly, attentive, and quick! The patio is dog friendly, heated, and they even offer water bowls! Got the mango mule and po boy, was great! They also offer brunch and dinner options, would come again!

Vanessa Ramirez

Google
Made a visit thanks to a Dallas subreddit recommending the brisk mac and cheese. The sweet bbq sauce combined with the creamy mac and cheese was *chef’s kiss* and the brisket was super tender and flavorful. The bread pudding was amazing and that’s coming from a bread pudding hater! The chef was nice enough to answer questions about the desserts.

Google
Clear star of the show was the sweet potato fries. Delicious. I had pasta and it was delicious as well.. except the shrimp.. i wish they had more flavor and i also didn't want to ruin it adding salt myself. Overall is good. Service is great, they are kind , for that detail alone i would come back. Maybe to try something else.

Google
Great food and great patio. The owner is super friendly and always ask how we are doing.

Yelp
My random craving tonight is mussels. I love them any way I can get them. The mussels here did not disappoint except for running out, too soon because they are absolute perfection. The seasoning was AMAZING. Garlic bread was well seasoned and toasted, so not just an after thought. More like a flavor vessel for all the sauce. I could taste all the minced aromatics and chorizo in the delicious broth. One of very few I've ever had that could stand alone as a broth or soup. DELICIOUS! My top mussel dish in Dallas as of today: 3/23/25 for its cleanness, pureness, excellent flavor, and oh so filling. Plus, I can tell Lake House uses quality ingredients for their cuisine. Cassie was an amazing and welcoming bartender as well! Don't miss her. My first time here, but I will be back.

Yelp
So great! Loved this spot! Great customer service, great atmosphere, and food taste great! Order the burger. Made it custom with no purple onions, cooked medium, added mayo, ketchup, mustard/ and extra pickles - this is a must! Bun is a signature with the pickles on top, some of the best I've had! Your choice of fries, tots, or sweets! Get the tots ! I'll be back! Parking in the back! - covered patio area!

Yelp
First time here, met some friends and had brunch on the patio. The service was great, she checked on us frequently making sure our needs were being met and she got everything out to us accurately. I ordered a beer flight - basically told her what I liked in regards to beers and let her pick them for me. I really enjoyed the cider and would come back for a glass of it. I also named off a few options I was looking at and she told me the Benedict or the chicken and waffle. I went with the later. Overall it wasn't bad but it was not what I was expecting for C&W. I got what seemed like a pounded chicken breast on top of a waffle. Although I could see seasoning on the chicken, it ate flat. What I really enjoyed was the cubed potatoes. I seriously could have ordered that and drank my cider while watching the game and been in heaven. The person sitting next to me got the BLT - I guess I missed that because I love a good BLT - and it came with tater tots that she said were delicious - so their potato game is on point. Would I come back? . . . I would & I'd give something else a try as it was apparent that I missed a lot that was on the menu.

Yelp
Great experience at my first visit to this place! Met some friends here for lunch and loved the place at first sight! You really feel like you are at a boat or lake house when you pull up. When you walk in the ambiance continues to lake house feel. On nice days, they can even lift up the rolling doors to put a nice breeze that rolls through the place. Our service was really good. Our server was attentive without being overwhelming. We had everything we needed throughout our experience. I ordered a shrimp poor boy, that in addition to the shrimp had a fried green tomato on it. I would have never paired these items on a sandwich, but not only did it work, it worked like magic! It was amazing! Great experience, we will be back!

Yelp
Love this patio. The chicken fried chicken was so flavorful! The mashed potatoes, broccoli, & Mac & cheese was exceptional. I liked the calamari but could had been better.

Yelp
Stopped by this restaurant one evening after work. It's a quiet place, good little outdoor seating area. It's definitely an older crowd. They played 80's music. The decor is all lake themed, and yes, technically, it's somewhat adjacent to White Rock Lake, but don't get fooled: there aren't any lake views. I tried a wedge salad, which oddly had a lot of lemon flavor, and an old fashioned which was so-so. The bartender was friendly enough - they run some happy hour specials if you get there before 7.
google avatar

Yelp
Returned and very happy we did. Amazing bartender remembered us as well as my allergy/modification. I feel terrible I don't remember her name but will find out and give proper credit. Food was only outshined by the wonderful service. Absolutely recommend!

Yelp
My partner and I went on our usual run around white rock lake and after being in 96 degree weather for a couple of hours, we needed a cold crisp beer. We stumbled upon this spot *literally* and sir, had 2 hazy ipa's and I had a Kolsch and then a michelada. Both were exactly what we needed and wanted. The miche was perfectly made and the juice tasted light and not too heavy to where I didn't want to finish my food. The presentation isn't pictured because I was far too excited to just get a big gulp. We ended up moving from the bar to the patio since they had plenty of fans and the set up was nice. For starters we had the chips and salsa, can never go wrong with that on a hot day. For my partners entree he had the shrimp poboy. He's from Louisiana and was skeptical at first because of the fried tomatoes but he LOVED IT. Every bite was the most perfect combination of savory and salty with a hint of sweetness from the chunky, thick sweet pickles he asked to add inside. His entree came with an option of sweet potatoes chips (fries), regular chips or salad, we of course went with the regular chips. If you're a fan of a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside type of chip, then you'll love these. The salt was my favorite. Pretty sure it's kosher salt which makes it THAT much better. I usually douse my chips in ranch but these didn't even need anything *chefs kiss*. I had the wedge salad and no joke, it was THEE best wedge salad I've had in my entire existence. I'm a big salad girl and so is my man but this one, we could eat every day and never get tired of it. The iceberg lettuce was fresh, the crunch is always the best part of those types of greens. The brown butter baked pecans with the blue cheese crumble and the best part yet, lemon vinaigrette, all were a bursts of flavors that tasted like absolute HEAVEN in my mouth. It was light, cool, citrusy and savory. YUM. I also added a side of the shrimp which were grilled and seemed to be glazed with the best of their seasonings. Had a somewhat herbal flavor to them that I can't get out of my head. They were insane. Can't wait to go back and try out their dinner menu and of course get those delicious fries again Cindy was our waitress. She was incredibly nice, enthusiastic about her place of work which made it all that much more welcoming, and had a way with words when describing the food. She ALMOST had me switch my choice to the crab sandwich but I couldn't be nudged. The lemon vinaigrette was the Apple of my eye and I am so glad I went with it definitely trying that next time Cindy! Ps. The patio is dog friendly so please bring your furry animals! Excited for Cooper and Simba to join next time and meet the great waitstaff

Yelp
This is based solely as a neighborhood restaurant and not fancy, just comfy and good. We only stopped in with for a quick happy hour as we had plans later. We had eaten there a few years ago before they closed to revamp, that was not a good experience. As it is close to home, wanted to give them a second chance. First, dog friendly patio, big kudos in my book. Second, Monday night is apparently 1/2 price wine night and Harken Chardonnay at $21 is a win! We ordered some mussels so as not to waste their table. Yum, yum, yum. If we didn't have plans, I'd have ordered another dozen. They were delicious, the chorizo doesn't overpower the flavor which it usually does. Not a ton of GF choices, but enough and they have GF buns so I will try them next time. Our server was thoughtful, kind, and between her and the manager everything was great!

Sarah C.

Yelp
Food was Amazing ! Service was on point ! The two bartenders Anthony , Carolina did not miss a beat, Karuna the manager stopped by and made sure I was having the best time ! The ambiance is so nice , get the coconut cocktail ! Can't wait until my next visit !

Yelp
Great casual restaurant / bar to hang out at. Feel guilty while drinking and eating bread pudding on the back patio watching all the bicyclists from White Rock go next door to the coffee shop! Service was great. Friendly.

David B.

Yelp
The staff remains courteous and gracious and I like the open air ambiance. Something has changed. My last three visits to The Lake House have not impressed. A year ago the quality and menu specials were delicious. The food quality has declined substantially. After three tries, I don't think there will be a fourth.
google avatar

Heath G.

Yelp
Food was average or below average at best. Slow service. You are paying for the outside patio which is a nice setup and vibe. Dog friendly.
google avatar

Julie T.

Yelp
Ok food. Service was pleasant. Note: they charge extra for sour cream when we ordered steak tacos.....wish server would have told us...kid friendly..clean bathrooms. Mussels didn't taste fresh.

Yelp
Lake House Bar and Grill never disappoints, the service is always great, the food hot and freshly made and the drinks are always cold and refreshing. Tonight I sat at the bar, enjoyed a Lakewood Temptress, a brisket sandwich and the All-star game with the husby as we enjoyed our dinner at a place that always feels welcoming and familiar. This is definitely one of our favorite neighborhood hangouts. The brisket sandwich was very good with a generous portion of both brisket and sausage, it was topped with napa cabbage and the bread was toasty and chewy and held up well to the juicy meat. The garlic butter fries were so delicious, you definitely have to try them anytime you come here.

Joseph S.

Yelp
Best shack ever. This is a lowkey, nice type of environment. Our server Cindy was incredible and made it feel more homey. She was very attentive and nice. The food was perfect and delicious as well. Not too hard on your pockets either. I will definitely be coming back at least once a month. Ps. I forgot to take a picture of my chicken and waffles. It got devoured too quickly.

Yelp
Made reservations for Mother's Day, for 11:30am. Six of us arrived early, 11:00, they sat us down right away- no problem there were 2 on the way. Jimmy was Awesome! He took care of everyone in our group. And the food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back again and again.

Yelp
Ordered to-go for the family from this local spot. Food was extremely good. BLT was tasty and good sized. Tater tots were awesome; perfectly crunchy and not too salty! Steak tacos were good. Chicken breast - a special request - was well-seasoned and tender. Lava cake with creamy vanilla ice cream was a nice finish (though the chocolate sauce on the side would have been even better).
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
I didn't think much of this place when it was brought up on our debate to go eat. But I went with it as they said it was delicious. And that's a understatement of what was to come with our meal. Turns out everything is scratch made and made with a whole lotta love. Started with some local craft beer and ordered the hot wings with house made ranch and blue cheese, Perfectly crisp and cooked. My brother had the shrimp Po' boy sandwich. Colossal tender shrimp and that bread? Wow. Reminded me of New Orleans bread (if you know, you know) the service was exceptional as our server was personable and honest with recommendations. My brother and his wife had made this a regular weekly stop and I can't wait to go back the next time in I'm Dallas.

Yelp
This restaurant is near (not on) White Rock Lake, just as a heads up. Its name comes from the decor inside which is very quaint and meant to look like a lake-on bar and grill, which I really love. Great TV and bar set-up for watching sports, which I love, and a good draft beer selection, The food is really good for a reasonably priced local spot. I really like the burgers, and my wife loves the salmon. The service is about average, but the owner John is very responsive if you have any issues. We live nearby and come here often, and he really tries to connect with his patrons who become regulars. Overall, I rate it a solid 5-star local place. If it was on the lake, it'd be 9.5 of 10 stars, but there aren't really any restaurants on White Rock Lake, and this is the closest in terms of decor we got. Totally recommend this spot to anyone in the area, or those just visiting.

Jaclyn K.

Yelp
You know a place is special when the chef, Ray, makes it a point to connect with his guests. Whether it's a busy Friday night or a quiet weekday lunch, the Lakehouse staff works together seamlessly to make every visit awesome. This restaurant isn't just about amazing food--it's about the people behind it. The staff greets us like an old friend, and the food feels like it's been made just for us. This little gem is more than just a place to eat--it's where you catch up with friends, celebrate milestones, and enjoy food that's better than anything you could make at home. We (and our kids) find Lakehouse our home away from home and I encourage you to try it again if it's been a spell since you've been there...it will not disappoint!d to perfection. It's the kind of place that makes you feel lucky to live nearby.

Blanca G.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. The place is nicele. The food is very delicious, clean and healthy.. very friendly service.

Alexa F.

Yelp
excellent!!! Wonderful food, family atmosphere, careful attention, presentation of the space.

Holly B.

Yelp
Great service and the food was incredible! I got the shrimp po boy and they happily agree to blacken the shrimp. It was one of the best po poy's I've had. My boyfriend got the grill sandwich and they had a gluten free bun and were very helpful insure what we ordered was gluten free.
google avatar

Mel K.

Yelp
I really liked this place and would for sure go back if I'm in Dallas again. Don't let the theme or atmosphere deceive you. It's laid back place with really good food! First of all the service was incredible. Our waitress and the manager were both super attentive and awesome. The food was good. Their tater tots were perfection. It's a weird thing to say but their ice tea was very good, I was told it's a special blend. I would have taken a gallon with me if that was offered (did take a to go cup). They have gluten free options which is a huge bonus. Beer and bar selection was solid.

Yelp
I want them to do well, because they are a hidden gem! I had it in my memory that they were not so good from old reviews, but friends wanted to meet there, so I read the recent reviews and was encouraged, if not excited. Thanks reviewers! We visited for the first time Thurs. 6/20/24 from 5:30 - 8 pm for happy hour (4-7pm M-F) and then dinner, and when we arrived, it wasn't too crowded. By the time we left it was filling up. The service was great, the happy hour a treat, with the lowest priced martinis I know of around here, and we had a great time catching up. I was really hungry, so I chose the Caprese Salad as my appetizer and the Basil Puree on it was so fresh. It hit the spot as did the Vodka Martinis and later wine. Friends got the Queso & Chips as an appetizer, and for dinner, hubby and I shared the Caesar Salad and the Honey Blue Flatbread which actually had a firm crust and was really, really tasty! One friend got the fish special of blackened Mahi-Mahi (absolutely delicious, not too salty, PERFECTLY cooked!) with really good Brussels Sprouts and the other got the pork chop & accoutrements. They let us taste and I tell you, these were elevated dishes... in a casual but refreshed bar/restaurant. It is landlocked, with a fanned back patio and a front patio overlooking parking lots and next to a Liquor Store, but when inside it's really pleasant and bright. Even the wood chairs are made well and only boney bums have trouble sitting for a long time (bring a cushion if so because you'll want to spend time here). But, be aware of the sun setting coming through the window as we were fortunate we could move tables. We complimented the Chef to our server, and she passed on and not long after Ray came out to inquire how our food was...he said don't call him Chef, he's just Ray. So humble, because it's probably tough to be called a grille when you're serving elevated main courses cooked to perfection and presented well! Turns out we'll be visiting again tonight, just me and hubby. Thanks to Ray and the team, it's our new casual go-to for economical and delicious treats and eats! Apologies, we should have taken photos but we hadn't seen each other in a year, so that's not where our purpose was.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
Fam dinner tonight did not disappoint. I had brisket sandwich, my son had steak sandwich, & wife & other son had shrimp tacos. All solid. Really under-rated, casual, neighborhood joint that does a bit of everything but does it all well.
google avatar

Larissa L.

Yelp
Came here to have lunch with my family and celebrate my mom's 70th birthday (her choice)! Service was fantastic; a bit slow, but they had a posting that they were short-staffed due to COVID and I could tell our server was very aware of all of her tables and checked in with us to make sure we were good. Appetizers were amazing- the queso was a huge hit with kids and adults alike. Lunch was great and huge portions. The icing on top of the cake? (Pun absolutely intended) When we came in, I had my mom's birthday cake and a separate platter in my hand. The manager came up and offered to refrigerate it in the kitchen, and then brought it out when it was time to sing and had the cake precut. It made my mom's birthday even more special!!! I'm very grateful to the staff
google avatar

Taylor K.

Yelp
Don't be deceived - lake house is nowhere near the lake. Based on the website photos, we thought we were walking into a marina-side docked restaurant on White Rock Lake. Lake House is in the middle of a run down lot with the patio facing the cars.

Happy S.

Yelp
Service is friendly and fast. The drinks are well prepared in clean glasses, Dinner options have always been good. I can't say I am a fan if brunch, (salmon omelette). SALTY and a poor delivery and presentation of ingredients that could better prepared and presented with much less salt. Crab Benedict also lacks presentation and comes like dump of good ingredients on top of one another. But overall, we never have a bad experience or meal here. Pineapple mimosa is great.
google avatar

Todd B.

Yelp
Excellent service and some very good selections on the menu. Nice craft beer selection. Excellent covered patio that is dog friendly.
google avatar

Thaddeus T.

Yelp
This place has got a great menu and their socially distancing is reassuring. Great little patio and close to the white rock trail. The bartender is easy on the eyes too.
google avatar

Tee S.

Yelp
I love this place. Great manager, great staff and an outstanding chef. Been putting off this review, but no longer. Drinks are great but the food is outstanding, Second to none. I love everything about the Lakehouse. I actually live on a Lakehouse in central Texas. This place reminds me of home. It's my go to place when I am in Dallas. I simply can not say enough good things about the Lakehouse! Did I mention brunch, I don't think so.......,
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
I've been eating here for years, and I'm never disappointed. If you're feeling like something healthy, the variety of salads is impressive. I recommend the shrimp and avocado. The grilled salmon with sautéed spinach is a favorite as well. If you're looking to indulge, the Lakehouse burger with tater tots or the loaded quesadillas will hit the spot. For dessert, the chocolate cake will change your life. The wait staff is above reproach and I still marvel at their excellent memories! Bring your dog, kids, or bike. UPDATE 2020: haven't been here in a while. Atmosphere: relaxed and dog friendly. Drinks: excellent. Food: not good. Should have been better.
google avatar

Ylva W.

Yelp
Great little place. The chef is doing great things with fish. Hamburgers and other food is also tasty. Sometimes you may need to wait for the wait staff, but then nowadays that seems to be the way it is everywhere. We keep going back because we like the food. Great beer selection too. Very popular with the bicycle crowd. It is near the White rock trail.
google avatar

Bob L.

Yelp
I've passed by this place for years but this was my first time to eat there and I have to ask "what took me so long?" Went with a group of fellow cyclists after riding around White Rock so this was the perfect place to relax and rehash the ride. I had the 1/2 pound burger with tots and washed it down with a Lone Star draft. They had me at Lone Star draft. The burger was huge, tasty and complete with all the trimmings. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium rare - tipping toward rare. Next time I'll get medium. The tots were bountiful. The beer was cold. And the serving was so large that I took half of the burger home for my wife to enjoy. Other table mates had shrimp salad, meatloaf and BLT. All seemed to enjoy their choices. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. Our server ticked off the specials which included a soup, nachos and quesadillas. The menu is large and varied. And it appears to have something for just about everyone. Parking is ample with both indoor and outdoor seating. And, like most eating establishments these days, it can be a bit loud at times -- at least to my aged ears. Well done, Lake House, well done. And thank you.
google avatar

Rosalynda L.

Yelp
Went there on a Saturday evening and wasn't too thrilled about this place. The place smelled like urine. Not too bad but we got light hints of it. Ordered the nachos....gross. I'm really not trying to be super mean with this comment. Under our nachos was a pool of juice. We asked the bartender what it was and she said it was from the chicken. She didn't ask us if we wanted a remake or if we were even ok with it. All the chips on the bottom were obviously soggy. Maybe drain the chicken a tiny bit more?? We kinda picked around the edges where the juice wasn't making the chips soggy. Won't be back
google avatar

Diana D.

Yelp
Too bad...everything good about Lake House is gone. The food was bad and the restaurant is run down with sticky tables and peeling paint. The mussels were awful the margarita flatbread was poorly executed and the garlic butter fries must have been the bottom of the batch as they were all 1" and shorter.
google avatar

Athena N.

Yelp
The redfish risotto and shrimp was well seasoned and very fresh! The fish was perfectly cooked and my Alaskan Amber was delicious as well. My cousin and her mother had the iron skillet chicken with new potatoes and were very pleased with the seasoning and the light char on the potatoes. The fried calamari are lightly breaded and came recommended by the youngest in our group and my other cousins Cuban was flavorful and tender.
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
We've been here twice now with the pups for brunch on their patio and really enjoyed it. Service has always been great. They bring out water for the dogs and even let us buy them a kids meal to split. The first time I ordered the breakfast tacos with bacon and they were good, and a lot of food (3 tacos). The second time I got the steak sandwich with jack cheese instead of swiss and it was great! Very tender meat, and the horseradish sauce actually tasted like horseradish. We also got the $10 carafe of mimosas, and this is a huge carafe-it was actually too much for the two of us to finish. Great deal! We will be here again, and probably frequently.

Yelp
Environment: Truly lives up to its name. Walking into the Lake House, you definitely get the feeling you're at the lake. The color scheme of the light blue, with the interior being fitted with small grassy green plants, and glass garage all aids into the illusion that you're by the lakeside. Service: The service wasn't bad! It was fast, knowledgeable on how their food is prepped, even knowing the amount of protein that it came by the ounce. Which was particularly helpful for me. Food: Calamari - It's difficult to find good calamari, and this place definitely will be a frequent visit for me when I need my cravings for calamari fixed. The rich golden frying on the calamari paired with the dippings truly make it quite a delicious appetizer. Grilled Chicken w/ Ginger Tamari Sauce - If you're trying to stay clean while eating out and think you're going to miss out. This dish will definitely make you think twice. This was such an incredible meal. The chicken breast was consistent in its thickness, with a great cross-sectional grill market makes an appealing Instagram photo. The saltiness from the charred crust with the sweetness of the tamari sauce really makes this dish a unique one. Apricot Chicken Salad Croissant - It definitely tasted good, but not something I would order again. The salad mixture was really delicious and filled with plenty of chicken (6 oz. worth). which is usually what is lacking in most chicken salad recipes. My complaint with this sandwich was the croissant, I feel like the buttery, and softness factor of a croissant was lacking. Would I come back? If I'm in the area then absolutely.

Dawn H.

Yelp
Food is disappointing, and service is always short. It is a shame because the bar is perfect to meet up friends.

Yelp
A nice local spot for a point and a burger. I love the ambiance. It really feels life your at someone's lakehouse when you kick back. The bar has some nice drinks and a decent beer selection. This place can get really busy at times and when it gets busy is very loud. But usually is a quiet place. The food is a little lacking. I've been here a few times and have tried many different types of the menu items. They are all in good quality but are lacking flavor. Tried the tijuana hot dog which sounds awesome with the bacon and guacamole, but was left with a cold dog with uninspired guacamole that just didn't mesh well together. The steak sandwich was ok but lacked toppings. Mac and cheese isn't awesome, just seemed like pasta with a sauce added at the last minute and lightly warmed together. Don't get me wrong though, I keep coming back and ordering food. It's not bad but it could be better.

Yelp
Out of the four meals we ordered I was the only one disappointed. Flat bread-good. Halibut special-good. Meat loaf-very good. Crab cakes-awful! Not even close to being good. Crab should never taste like fish. 3 out 4 though so might be worth a roll of the dice.

Yelp
Tried it for the first time. The food pictures looked amazing. The place looks great for cyclists. The employees were friendly and parking was easy. The food is basic and not up to the websites. I had cauliflower steak for brunch. It was weird. The drinks were very good and redeeming. The employees made it right .

Yelp
This is a toughie. I loved the space of this place. It's all open and bright, with the garage doors opened last night on a perfect night to let a nice breeze in. The space is cool with some nook and cranny seating, and a rectangular bar in the middle of the restaurant with seating all around. The nautical theme is super cool where you feel like you could be on the beach. For a place named bar and grill I never would have expected so many kids around. KIDS WERE EVERYWHERE sitting next to us even. I get it, I guess. It's in a neighborhood where I suppose they are going to cater to people my age with kids. The food was great. I had a Philly cheese steak, and it was made just the way I like it, and came with horseradish and au jus. They also put mushrooms on it. I ordered with the tots and loved them too. My friend had the fish tacos and she said her food was good too. I stuck with vodka tonics since they were $1 off during happy hour, but did have a sip of my friends Dallasite cocktail and it was really good. The service was really friendly, but so very slow. We only saw our waitress a couple of times, but some dude came around to bring us more drinks (sorry forget his name, but he was cute and friendly). They did have a packed house so it wasn't like they weren't trying to get to everyone. If I'm in the neighborhood again I would check this place out either early in the day or late at night when there would probably be less kids around, or just grab a seat at the bar next time.

Yelp
Fantastic Burger and beer on the patio after a bike ride at the lake. What's not to like about a local IPA and a burger with tots . Patio atmosphere or air conditioning inside whatever suits you. Staff is customer service focused . Really a unique atmosphere. Really a must stop after a great ride or run at the lake. .

Yelp
I'll start out by saying the food is pretty good. We were all happy with our drinks and cocktails, I got a burger and my husband had salmon that were well cooked and tasted great. The rest of our party was pretty happy with their main courses as well. Though I will say the hummus had a.....crusty look when it came. I opted out of eating it. This bar, for a lack of better term, is super douche-y. We beat our party to the restaurant and went back and forth about staying since we'd brought our daughter and it was loud and more of a dingy bar scene. Everyone arrived and we decided to stay, she can sleep through nearly anything anyways and it wasn't super busy. Our waiter threw (and when I say threw, I mean with a spinning motion so they landed randomly) our menus at each seat and asked about drinks. We ordered waters for everyone. He seemed annoyed at our stroller and honestly annoyed to even be serving us. I saw him serving other tables that he seemed more familiar with the customers and he was MUCH friendlier. I don't think he could've been more annoyed and ready to get us out of there if he tried. In the end, I'd come back if I were a man looking to drink beer and shoot the shit. This is dark, dingy and screams "bar" more than "grill". Super embarrassed we brought our family here and 100% wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The food was good though.
