This is a beautiful, clean park with well-maintained flower trees and plants. It’s always a peaceful place to visit. I often bring my dog here, and he loves swimming and exploring the open spaces. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it's clear the park is cared for. Definitely one of our favorite spots to enjoy some fresh air and nature.

It takes you to the wrong side. If u see nice houses, you are on the back of the lake just co to ue to drive around. Will bring you out to the boat parking lot or co ti ur to stop signing, making a rigjt and lake entran, and the parking is on your right across from apts in Picture

The park is nice place to relax with family. There are nice tables, barbecue area, dense grass cover to lie on, ducks marching and swimming around, and even one white goose! People were swimming in the lake in wetsuits, so I presume the water is cold. But on the shore water was warm enough to step into it barefoot. Sunset view is really beautiful from this park.

Very nice location! The parking was tommy and plenty. The landscape design is very fun with the hills. My kids enjoy riding his bike around on the cement walkways. The view is like Lake Washington water front. The kids playground was fun with a spider-man climber i'm not sure what to call it and pirate ship. My kids took a nice warm swim very kid safe in the water in mid August. I saw the covered area for picnic. I would have given this place 5 stars if i could find the bathroom. i didn't see it anywhere near the kids playground and some of the fake grass and floor mats on the kids playground where rip and damaged and could use some repair. This is a wonderful park I would love to come visit again. It could use some tennis and basketball court.

Lake Meridian Park in Kent provided me with an absolutely amazing experience, and I'm excited to share my 5-star review for this wonderful destination. Whether you're seeking a serene place for a leisurely walk or a picturesque spot for photography, this park has it all. One of the standout features of Lake Meridian Park is its suitability for leisurely walks. Whether you're strolling solo, with a friend, or accompanied by your furry companion, the walking paths are perfect for everyone. The park's well-maintained trails and tranquil surroundings create an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and exercise. A highlight of my visit to this park was the incredibly friendly ducks that grace the shores of the lake. Their presence added a charming touch to the overall scenery, and I couldn't help but smile at their quacking and graceful swims in the lake. It's a unique and heartwarming feature that sets Lake Meridian Park apart. The park's natural beauty is a dream come true for photography enthusiasts. With the lake as a backdrop, the lush greenery, and the wildlife, it offers a wealth of photo opportunities. Whether you're capturing the serene reflection of the lake, the ducks in their element, or the changing colors of the seasons, Lake Meridian Park is a photographer's paradise. In conclusion, Lake Meridian Park in Kent is a five-star destination that beautifully blends nature, tranquility, and photo opportunities. It's a place that offers a delightful escape from the daily hustle and bustle, making it a must-visit for those seeking a serene and visually captivating experience. I look forward to returning to this picturesque park to soak in its natural charm once again.

Google
So I have 19m old and they will need a lot more assistance in this park. But, man is it fun. It has almost everything. It looks pretty new but some aspects are a bit roughed up like the flooring and one of the swings. They structures are huge and my kid had a lot of fun running around with me behind him. Then we fed the ducks and had a little picnic. And the playground itself is not very close to traffic or the parking lot which I always appreciate.

Yelp
Third visit to this park. Went Trout Fishing and caught a couple of fish. Missed out on a few more, though. Pretty slow day in general, maybe because the Sun wasn't out and it was kinda chilly? In any case, it was simply a pleasant day to get out for some fresh air at the park. It was very calm, peaceful and serene. Not too many people, so that was nice. Ample parking and easy to navigate at. Good place for a leisurely walk or a fishing trip for a few hours. There is also a playground and swim area for kids as well. A decent park for everyone to enjoy some time off and take a break at.

Yelp
Beautiful day and view ... sunshine come out to play! Nice well kept park with kids playing and dog walking ... had fun just soaking up the sun!!

Connie S.

Yelp
The stage for Summer concert is Not well placed. The sun is in your eyes facing the stage. The live music was great. I did not know about the Shuttle from the Fire Station until I got there and had to park in the near by neighborhood illegally. There were signs stating No Parking there. But I knew since this st. and my car was hidden from Kent-Kangley Rd, it should be fine.

Satine P.

Yelp
Nice and clean park. However, a lot of people smoke weed and cigarettes openly even though there is a sign at the entrance that it is not allowed. It would be appreciated if there was some kind of control and monitoring that restrictions are followed. There are a lot of children in the park. They should not be exposed to the smoke from weed or cigarettes!

Kaylee M.

Yelp
Large park with lots to do. We like to swim in the summer. The playground is amazing and one of the best around. Parking is terrible in the summer months but if you can manage a spot you'll have a great time!

Teresa M.

Yelp
Lake Meridian Park is a fairy large park that gives direct access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and just lounging on the beach. Boat launch is available off of 152nd Way, motorized vessels allowed. Sizeable playground for the kiddos and a dock that allows you to get out on the water without getting wet, this is a very popular place during the summer! If you're into flowers, come when the wisterias are out - they're gorgeous!

Glen N.

Yelp
It's a park. On a lake. In a suburb. You can swim, BBQ, climb play structures, launch boats, and fish, but it's not advised to do them all at once.

Deborah G.

Yelp
Rude boaters on the congested ramp. Impatient folks and terrible parking. We paid for our Kayak park spots only to have non-boater people honk to hurry our tie-down. They need honey bucket in the boat ramp area.

Hong T.

Yelp
Great Lake! I love the fact that they have the swim area roped off to depth. There is actual sand here and the water felt really nice!

Lauren L.

Yelp
This place is a gem in the city. It has a park, and a huge beach. Go early as it gets super crowded. Even on busy days you still have more than enough foom to swim and play. Also great for watching people on bathing suits and thinking "you forgot the rest of your bathing suit at home". I would recommend not swimming in the swim part as it can be dirty, go to the side beach in front of the play fround

Bgz K.

Yelp
This park is pretty nice. It has great views. Their are picnic tables, benches, a big parking lot, a playground, shelter area, ducks, and a beach. Would recommend this park and prob come back.

Yelp
Lake Meridian Estates has been our home for the last 3 years while my husband was on a project in Seattle. Instead of renting a small 200 sf apartment for $1500.00 a month we opted to purchase a lake house for less. We've loved the area. Once you come off of 132nd & 256th you are away from the hustle & bustle. It's like a hidden oasis of private and quiet! The lake and dock is public, but if you reside in the park the dock is for you too. We never had an issue sharing the lake or dock...345 days of the year you're alone on the dock and the view is Mount Rainier! It's beautiful and serene. We are selling our beautiful home right down from the dock. Our lot is larger than most and private. Stop by and meet the Manager, Holly and if this is your cup of tea, drink it up while you can! 2 doors down from our place is a house on the lake (not in the Park) that sold (3 years ago) for $800K...honestly, you're in good company and the value of these little homes is only going up! Trader Joe's is just down the road off of 132nd, and Fred Meyer is close too. Walmart is down the other way towards Covington. Easy to get around to shopping the stores you need as well as Home Depot, coffee shops and drugstores. If you desire to boat or fish this is the place! Hubby used to watch the eagles fly above Lake Meridian while he sat at our breakfast bar with coffee...this place is quite special and so are the residents who reside within it!

Yelp
Beautiful place for just strolling and just enjoying what nature has to offer. Great for swimming, picnics, picture taking. And it doesn't even cost you anything.

Amie B.

Yelp
Great neighborhood local park that is open year round with a nice lake and picnic areas. There aren't very many tables and chairs to sit on but loads of grassy area to have a picnic on. There is a covered area where you can reserve and have parties. A dock area, which has a swimming area next to it. There's also a boat launch. I'm not familiar with the fees as I've never used it. There's a lighted path around the lake, which is great for a short and brisk walk. The children's area is usually busy. It's a wonderful playground area. I've only been through it when there are no kids around. So yeah, I'm a big kid at heart. Shhh... don't tell anyone. This place is perfect for a quick swim when it's warm out. I take my paddle board here from time to time and take off from the beach area. It's also quite relaxing to just sit on the grass and relax just to enjoy the weather. I've also floated in an inner tube on the lake. It does get windy here late afternoons. Motorized boats are allowed but the speed limit only goes to 35 mph. There are specific rules for jet skis / wave runners. So you may want to look those up before visiting the lake if that's your intended purpose. The park does get packed especially during a beautiful day. It can be difficult to find parking. There is a back entrance to the park, which is where the boat docks are located. If you drive down further on the street, you will see the parking lot for Soos Creek Trail on the right. That is an option to park if the lots get full at the lake. Oh.... as of August 11, 2016, there is a possible crocodile/alligator-like sighting. It supposedly poses no danger to the public. The geese are probably more aggressive. So have fun and enjoy!

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Great place to walk, enjoy the lake, have a BBQ, and relax. There's a covered patio, bbq grills, a playground, and bathrooms. The park has always been well-maintained on our visits. 4/24/18 - bathrooms are under construction but they do have portapotties.

Sheri H.

Yelp
Lake Meridian Park is a really nice park. The lake is lovely to look at while hosting a picnic at the covered tables or on the grass. There are docks to slip in the kayak or boat. Parking can get crowded easily on a busy weekend or during an event. During Kent Days, which is part of Seafair, the parking becomes an issue but the city provides shuttles from nearby locations.

Neil C.

Yelp
Nice picnic area and playground for kiddos. Very clean and well kept. Boat ramp available. The lake is on the smaller side, but there is plenty of room to share.

Melody P.

Yelp
I came here for volunteering, practice ride, and a sprint triathlon. This park is awesome and very well maintained. When I volunteered or raced, it's easy to find a parking spot in the surrounding neighborhood. When I came here for practice ride, there were parking spots inside the park. The water is clean! I loved the open water swim here.

Chloe D.

Yelp
Wish it had more trees and more parking but the over all effect is good Bring food and a blanket great for a picnic

Lisa R.

Yelp
What a park! Huge green spaces/rolling hills, easy access, cute little lake, and the zinger for me and my family - the play area for little ones. Then there's the play area for little ones. Did I mention the play area for little ones? The only lacking feature in my book is more picnic tables (they could easily fit some in that would not detract from all that green space). I digress. Returning to the play area - there are so many features for younger and older children. Plenty of slides, a little elevator thingy, a giant spiderweb feature to climb on, some swings, a mini climbing wall, the merry-go-round feature....lots of stuff to keep your littles entertained for longer than usual and to tucker them out. Oh and all this is surrounded by that squishy-bouncy material that helps prevent little skinned knees. I have yet to check out the shoreline, but it was fun to watch the boats and kayaks in the water. This is a truly enjoyable spot to take the kids on a nice day. Well kept play equipment (no urine smell yet - ewwww) and the grounds are clean as well. Is it worth a special drive from Seattle? Probably not, to be honest. But to be equally as honest, this park is comparable to what Greenlake has to offer for the little babes. Highly recommend if you live in the south end!

Floryn E.

Yelp
Lovely park with tons of grass area and wading area. There are unfortunately no connected walking trails but there is a huge green valley area that I played with pups at for a bit. The playgrounds look to be in good shape and the park appears clean overall. A great place for families for sure.

Alaina W.

Yelp
Great park for families and having some "you" time! Plenty of grass, sun, and shade, so there's something for everyone. Somewhat small parking lot, though.

Amy C.

Yelp
We have my daughters birthday here every year. shelter rental is crazy expensive, but its worth it to have claim to the grill and tables. Has a swimming section of the lake, and a great kids playground. And I mean absolutely fantastic. Keeps my kid entertained for hours and hours.

Denise V.

Yelp
Beautiful lake with nice open fields, playgrounds and picnic area! Such a nice place to take a walk, swim and relax! The only problem is that the parking lot is so small! I went on a sunny day and had to drive around for 40 minutes until we found parking! Overall, a nice park but on days you might expect a lot of people, be prepared to look for parking!

Christina B.

Yelp
Perfect for a nice, sunset walk. The weather has been gorgeous lately, so my boyfriend and I decided to take a walk around the park and lake and watch the sun go down. It was so beautiful. I tend to forget about this park even though it's just 5 minutes away from my house. There are a lot of grassy areas for lounging around and playing frisbee, soccer, or football. Pavilions provide tables, shade, and bbq for gatherings with family and friends when the weather's nice. Docks out on the water provide good spots for fishing or jumping in the water and swimming (although all the seaweed creeps me out and I'd probably never get into that cold water). It gets pretty crowded here during the summer when the weather is much warmer. But if you're in the area, you should check this park out sometime. It's peaceful and relaxing.

Will T.

Yelp
This is an okay park but it is way too popular. On any remotely "nice" day in Kent, everyone seems to congregate here... including Canadian geese. It's a good idea to stay off the grass and stay out of the water. The geese poop everywhere. If you come here to swim, the water is usually full of algae (thank you geese). Make sure you don't have any open wounds as you can get some pretty nasty illnesses. FUN FACT: Lake Meridian used to be called Cow Lake. However, all the cows that were on the original logging mill site suddenly died (unknown reason) and the name was eventually changed.

Erin M.

Yelp
Dirty dirty lake.. Swimmers itch & leaches. I won't even let my kids swim in that lake. Very sad.

Ray H.

Yelp
I like to fish the only thing that I don't like is that it opens at 7 a.m. When you're a fisherman with a car you have nowhere to park and the only time to fish is early in the morning but soon as the Sun comes out it start heating the water and the bite slows down.

Jak L.

Yelp
Me and my wife enjoy bringing our son to the park especially since the playground area was updated. Growing up coming here me and my wife appreciate the park and are used to the poor upkeep and limited parking. The concession and restroom area is fenced off and hopefully being updated before summer officially starts. I am superiors it wasn't updated before the playground since the old one wasn't that bad and there is plenty of open fields. Unfortunately due to location we don't have very pleasant people visiting since most are oblivious to their surroundings or just unwilling to be bothered with respect for others or the surrounding area and wildlife. It'd be nice if they practiced better upkeep on the shoreline and cleaned or replaced signage. If living in the area I'd say walking is fairly easy and may be necessary when weather is really nice.

Kristina H.

Yelp
The park itself is amazing. The playground is the best in the area, the beach has a great swimming area, large grassy areas for Frisby, football, bbqs. It's very clean and well maintenanced. The only thing I've had a small issue with is some of the rude/disrespectful people at the park.

Tila S.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite parks in Kent! It's so nice with the lake view.

Kate H.

Yelp
I love Lake Meridian Park! What a great place to paddle your kayak, water ski, or go swimming. Great place to take the kids to play or have a picnic. Relatively clean (but, somewhat rustic) restrooms. Great playground. It is very, very crowded on sunny days. Also, watch out for goose and duck poop. But, this place is beautiful!!

Lashawna M.

Yelp
Very crowded mid day, but that's because this park is such a fun environment to be in! Could be improved by adding more parking! The property is always very clean and maintained! The covered area would be lovely for a summer BBQ or party!

Rachell S.

Yelp
My toddler loves this park playground and I love that it's right on the water. Win win

Jan R.

Yelp
My kids absolutely love this park. Very clean and kids safe/proof. Good job City of Kent.

Michelle D.

Yelp
This is my son's favorite park. We play at the playground then walk our sand toys over to the beach and keep playing. It can be crowded but it is always fun.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Great park located in Kent. When you have lots of kids it's hard to keep your eyes on all of them with the water being so close to the playgrounds. Other than that one of the better parks in the area.

Christina G.

Yelp
Was looking for a spot to let our dog play in the lake. They have a swim area, then there was other area that people were in so I didn't let our dog of leash to play in water. Also there was a Sew Pipe looking thing IN the water Not sure what that is about. ,More parking would be great. Lots of Families.

Jeff H.

Yelp
somewhat ghetto at times.....hey thats Kent
