Lake Trout 2

Been going here off and on for years. I use to love their chicken boxes because of how massive the wings were. Recently, i went and the wings were smaller and overbreaded. The seasoning they ised for the chicken was also so strong that i reheated 2 wings in my microwave and it had my house smelling from top to bottom! Lol. What i will say is the service was really good and polite. Your best bet is to call ahead before you come pick up your food if you do not wanna be in there long because they cook everything the moment you order it. The chicken smell blowing up my house was not a deal breaker so i will probably viait them again

Ordered steakfish; given catfish…. Never ever again …. Thank you for the 🤮 catfish that by the way I’ve never liked at any point in my life and certainly can’t be fooled with the batter. Also thanks for helping me save money One less establishment to patronize and support with money I can keep in my pocket

I ordered from Lake Trout 2 on Doordash. I ordered the 4 piece Lake Trout dinner with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. The fish were very small for the price, the collard greens had a vinegary taste, and the macaroni and cheese was not fresh made, it looked like it was sitting out from yesterday. I will NOT be ordering from Lake Trout 2 again. I only gave a 3 rating because my sister got the Sukiyaki sub and she loved it. She also got the 4 piece Steak fish dinner which they got wrong, because it had shrimp and imitation crab sticks, that's not what she ordered. Fortunately, she likes the steak fish. While I will NOT be ordering from Lake Trout 2 again, my sister would, but I'm the one who writes the reviews. 🙃🙃🙃

I Went Today And Got A 3 Piece Whiting Dinner With Fries! Everything Was Tasty, And I'll Have Some Leftovers For Tomorrow's Lunch!

Ordered on line. Specially added a comment not to fry my steak fish. Got home it had fried hard

Typical carryout sub shop. Both my Mom and I got whiting fish subs and it was the smallest piece of fish that I ever had on a sub. Maybe it was fish strips. I don't know but both of our subs looked the same. The taste was excellent but the small sub that was $8.99 wasn't worth it. You can get more fish on a Burger King or McDonald's fish sandwich

This is one of the best chicken spots around. Nothing like a chicken box with some mambo sauce on the side to dip your fries into. Perfect crunch, seasoned well and delicious. Highly recommended.

Lake Trout was good. The fish was fried perfectly but it could have been meatier. They forgot my macaroni and cheese on Friday and I returned to get it on Sunday without my receipt. He gave it too me without any hassle. However, they (my children and mother) said it was unpleasant.

Great service. The best fried fish from trout to catfish. I love their strawberry cake and pickled eggs. Plenty of parking in a shopping center close to the gym.

Not Worth it. Chicken tenders were nasty. Not tasting like chicken. Also got western fries instead of French fries. Paid extra with it to only get Like 7 fries in the box. Waste of money

As in life, sometimes things don't go or happen as planned. The other day, I placed an order for the 4 Piece Lake Trout. However, I had to call to advise Lake Trout 2 of an issue I had. While rare with this location, I had a issue which had to be addressed. I was politely listened to, and then offered a "redo" of my order. I returned a few days later, with my receipt and my order was indeed redone. The food was as I expected, thus Lake Trout 2 made me a very happy return customer.

This fish looked awesome but it was dry and tasteless. I will never order from this place again.

Hit or Miss for this place. My last order was not what I received at a prior order please become consistent when people spend heard earned money on hyper inflated food. I'm truly disappointed because you should take this into consideration. The prices are increased for someone to deliver to me .

I haven't been here in years and decided to order carry out during the pandemic. The food does not taste the same as years ago. It use to be a 3 star place, but now it is 2 stars. I ordered the cheese fish on a bun combo with western fries and a sweet tea. It was borderline okay. The cashier over charged me and tried to explain how she was right as if I had stupid on my forehead. She wasn't rude, but she kept saying the price and I kept pointing to her priced menu sign. Then she finally understood that I was not going to accept what she was saying and charged me the correct price shown on the menu.

Deep fried 4 pc lake trout with cole slaw. Cole slaw very good. Fish had fried parts that could have been removed before frying. Lightly batted, hot and good. Sides and dessert extra. Chicken and shrimp available as well. Parking available. One small table with seats.

This place used to have the best rice pudding. I just brought some rice pudding it was the worst rice pudding I ever taste. Beware don't buy! Under new management.

We got the two pieces fish shrimp and crab stick. The food was tasteless I would not eat here again

Shrimp cheesesteak is different then I remember it. The shrimp are super tiny & it just dont taste as good as it use to. I will just stick to ordering the fish here.

The fried whole wings are great! The western fries are so so. In my opinion, one of the best fried chicken places in MD

Had food delivered from here. They came a half hour after the scheduled delivery time, which was an hour and a half after I ordered. I had already prepaid. The driver came and gave an apology that was unapologetic for being late. The food was cold. They said they wouldn't issue any refund. Poor customer service.

Staff was super friendly. I just moved back to the area and was in the mood for a fish sandwich. I have trouble with bones, so the guy recommended the catfish or the tilapia. I ended up getting one of each so that my wife and I could try both and they were delicious. Not to greasy and not too heavily breaded. Seasoning was good and the taste was really fresh. This will probably become my go to for fried fish.

I threw my breakfast away. My waffles tasted stale and like shrimp. I could t even get my 6 year old to eat it. He did enjoy the macaroni though but for me it was a waste of money

Years ago this was on of my favorite lake trout spots. It was always fresh and you knew you were gettting real lake trout. Some plaaces try and sell you whiting as trout but I know the difference. The newer management isn't that bad it's just now the same ambiance! I still come here from time to time and my fried fish is still fresh and still pretty much has the same taste from years ago.

got me a 12" cheese steak sub with fries ....took one bite and my bread melted in my mouth (since when do they put liquid cheese on subs) and the onions on that bitch was fat as shit like some midget fingers ....the fries was Sweaty as shit I guess because how hot they was and with the box being closed the steam turned liquid and made my damn fries soggy as hell ...The can soda was good though
