Lakeside Cabin

What a magnificent property! We recently spent a week at Lakeside Cabin and had the most amazing time. The cabin is cute and comfortable. The grounds were perfectly manicured. It’s close to the small towns of Troy and New Boston. We had our family come out to visit us for a picnic on Sunday and the covered pavillion with picnic tables was ideal! Everyone loved sitting in the screened in porch, on the deck, on the lovely driveway, by the lake, on the docks and in the Tiki Hut. We had absolutely perfect weather and loved watching the deer, wild turkeys, birds and frogs. It’s absolutely a slice oh heaven!

This cabin was absolute perfection for our girls getaway weekend! I really don't know how else to describe it, but it was like a portal into our own private world. When you get to a rental, and it feels like "home" after only being there for 5 minutes, you know it's special. The hosts made sure we had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable, worry free, and fun. That allowed our focus to be on grilling, kayaking, swimming in the lake, hanging out at the tiki bar, sitting in the hot tub, playing games in the living room, sitting around a fire in the evenings, and eating breakfast in our pajamas in the screened in porch - all while being surrounded with beautiful views of the lake and trees. The cabin was clean, inviting, and the beds were super comfy. There were many different areas for us to socialize (inside and outside). Just good vibes all around. Andy and Sara, THANK YOU for letting our group use your fantastic property for girls weekend. It allowed us to reconnect in person, rather than just through a screen. We will most definitely be back.

Oh my gosh where to begin!!!! This cabin is a pure slice of heaven in southern Indiana! We had such a great weekend here and everything was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed ALL of the amenities - the hot tub, the views, the screened in porch, the lake and tiki bar, the fire pits - everything was absolutely amazing - the hosts have thought of everything! The cabin was so clean and well stocked, and the fun that was had by all and the memories made here are priceless! We might have to make this an annual trip!

Met up with some friends and it was Amazing. Pictures do not show how beautiful the place really is! Hot tub, Lake and the gas fireplace were so nice. We will 100% be back again!!

Where do I start with this amazing property?? We had the perfect weekend getaway at this little slice of heaven! From the moment we crested the hill and caught the first glimpse of the lake, we were amazed with the detail that the hosts put into make our stay memorable. They literally thought of everything! The communication was top notch and they gracefully answered all of our questions! The lake was pristine and the tiki bar was the best hangout! Abundant wildlife and the most peaceful views. The cabin was spotless clean and loved having access to washer/dryer! We hope to enjoy this property many more times in the future!

A surprising gem of a location, you'll undoubtedly enjoy your stay at Lakeside Cabin. The grounds are well-kept, safe, clean and kid-friendly. Fishing is phenomenal in the big lake. A good getaway for a family or guys/gals-weekend. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic. This compound is an absolute gem. We had a weekend getaway with a group from college. The cabin was pristine and comfortable, more than enough bedding for small groups and families! The kitchenette was great for cooking for the group (gas stove!) and was fully stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, silverware and had a full size refrigerator. Property is 40 acres and is very secluded, about 1/2mi from the main road (and 2-minutes from an excellent local pub, the New Boston Tavern). Lake had an electric golfcart to get around, kayaks, a john-boat, lifejackets, floats. You can fish right off the main dock close to the cabin or off the floating dock out on the lake. Also enough acreage to fly a kite, birdwatch or otherwise walk around without interfering with other guests! Had a jacuzzi, propane grill-- would highly recommend for anyone hosting a small gathering; graduation party, reunion, business retreat etc. Best part of the process was the communication with the owners Andy & Sara. A great resource to the local community and highly accommodating. 5/5 would highly recommend for a trip to Holiday World, Marengo Cave, or Hoosier National Forest!

This is a beautiful secluded place with all the amenities you could ever want. You can fish in the lake, kayak or just walk the beautiful grounds. There’s a hot tub to relax in. You are not far from Holiday World. You will love the proprietors. Great people.
