Lakeside Farmers' Market

I enjoy this quaint; and amazing farmers market! It’s packed full of healthy fresh product on Wednesdays and Saturdays! I buy dip mixes inside from Krystal’s Ceations and I really enjoy the pricing! It isn’t overpriced fresh food…

For the small amount of vendors here (yes I know there are numerous but compared to huge ones I have been to in the past in the area had a lot) they really do have one of everything you could ever need. I can tell that the vendors are helpful and kind and really do take care in the times that they make and care about what ingredients they use. From seasonal vegetables to homemade bread and to jewelry and even clothing, you can find everything here is made with helpfulness and love. Plenty of parking in front of the market as well as at local businesses who welcome you in and a kind enough to let you use their parking lot. Overall a quiet and beautiful area where you feel comfortable and enjoy your time at.

Great local vibe. An assortment of local farmers offering fruits, vegetables, seasonal items and a wide range of goods… including candles, T-shirts, necklaces, pieces of artwork and many more items. All from local/regional small businesses. There was even a live music set performed by local musicians. My first outing at the Lakeside Farmers Market was a great experience and it has been added to my list of places to frequent in the greater Richmond area moving forward.

Not a fun place at alk. Outdoor farmers marjet but you cant take your pet, even in a pet stroller, In the lady that told me all of that was not very friendly at all. She was actually very aggressive towards me when I didn't even take my dog out of the vehicle. She simply saw that I had one and she immediately came up to me. Aggressive telling me to take the dog out of the car. So I most definitely will not even give them another try.

Love this place! My family loves the safe space markets, they just keep getting better and expanding gently. The vendors are so sweet and the treats of all sorts will tempt you. Let yourself go a little, dance to the music play with chalk, it’s not just for the kids! I certainly had fun and so did my family. (Try the pickle hot dog from Haute Dayum! It’s crave-able!).

Great produce and great people. Seasonal vegetables and fruits. Tomatoes, corn, broccoli, cucumber, melons, a kaleidoscope of flowers.

Lakeside Farmers Market brings together local farmers and bakers and crafters to share in the bounty. It is a happy place with many smiles. It was a particular joy for me when family showed up at my Bring Forth Urban Farm table.

Can't wait to come back to buy more fresh veggies and fruit.
