While this is the best mall in the greater New Orleans metro area, it does leave something to be desired. It does have a variety of stores. The only Apple store in the area, Macy's, Pottery Barn, clothing stores, decent selection of options in the food court.
To the reviewer complaining about all of the stores being the full price option, I say, of course, this is a mall, not an outlet mall, of course this is not going to be a deeply discounted mall, nothing in the advertising states that it will be. There are sales in the individual stores for back to school, holidays and the like.
They also host a bridal show in the common areas in the spring, which I think is nice, and of course the usual holiday trappings for the more consumer holidays. The decorations can be over the top. I really enjoy coming here, people watch, mall walk, or just shopping. I tend to stay away during the holidays because of crowds, but that's all good. There are plenty of options for all sorts of fashion tastes.
Parking can be hectic. There are three parking garages, and a large regular parking lot. There is a Cheesecake Factory and Red Lobster as stand alone buildings in the large regular parking lot in the north east corner (Causeway and 17th). Macy's, JC Penny and Dillard's are the major stores.
