Google
Went here on a whim and it turned out amazing! Got fried pickles, shrimp basket, and fried chicken tacos. You definitely pay for what you get, portions were a great size and food was delicious. If you’re on vacation like us I definitely suggest trying this place out!

Google
The tacos are to die for!! You get 3 of them, and they are good size! Mozzarella sticks are also a must-have they are made from fresh cut mozzarella!! Staff is super friendly, and the service is quick!! The restaurant itself is not very big but they have outdoor seating so that is a plus.

Eriel

Google
Really small place inside, not a lot of great drink options, but...Food was great!!! Blackened shrimp tacos were amazing and the burger was pretty good too. We asked for it well done and they did it!! Mozzarella sticks were salty but good, and the fries were crisp and delicious! Highly recommend.

Google
$17 for a sub-par 6" overcooked shrimp poboy. Had to wait 25 minutes for it. Mistakenly ordered fries and they were limp and absolutely saturated with oil. Completely inedible. With tip it was a $25 lunch!! My god. I really was looking forward to it but came away quite disappointed.

Matthew Macloud

Google
The past two times we ordered the cafe fries, they were the soggy, crinkled variety unlike the delicious crispy ones we're used to. I'll change my rating once they go back.

Came here the first day and last night in New Orleans. The chicken parm is a must. We also had the chicken sandwich and it was just as good. Normally we try different places on vacation but the sandwich was just that good!

Google

We were there as tourists. Although we ended up there spontaneously, we just took an Uber from City Park to a nearest Po Boy place, we got the experience we were looking for :) This is definitely a great place to try New Orleans food. It is small, it has seats inside and outside. It has many Po Boys options as well as Gumbos. No hype around, just local, just delicious and not overpriced. Moreover, I prefer live conversations to googling. We asked a waiter about an origin of Po boy's name. He didn't remember and asked a guy in the kitchen, the guy didn't remember too. We were seating outside after our delicious meal waiting for an Uber, when a guy, probably the owner, came to us and told us the history of Po Boy! Isn't it the best experience you can get as a Cafe guest? And yes, the place is very affordable, that lefts no reasons not to go and check it out :)

Yelp
Pretty yummy small family owned place on Harrison Ave snuggled between reginellis and parlays. I LOVE their crab and corn bisque. But the chicken andouille gumbo is pretty good too! There's not really much seating inside but plenty outside. Perfect for a nice little Saturday lunch. Service was great. They really care about their customers. A little pricey for lunch but I'm cool with it since I'm supporting a local family business.

Yelp
First off, the Mozzarella Sticks were insane . Easily the best item we ordered. My Cuban Sandwich was really dry. The meat was not juicy at all. There was nothing except panini bread, roast pork, ham, onion, pickle, and a dab of mustard. I had to add a ton of Mayo and Mustard to not choke. But the meat was prime and the flavor of it was good. My wife hated her burger. It was charred to hell. We thought the fried pickles were just okay. The soda bottles are only 16 oz, not 20 oz. So a real rip off considering they're 2 and a half bucks. There's seating for maybe four people in there and otherwise standing room only or you're sitting outside with the flying bugs on the patio. If I lived in the neighborhood I'd be coming here for double orders of mozzarella sticks all the time. Otherwise skip it. We went out of our way to come here from Metairie where we were. Should've just gone to Mama's Place again. 3.00 - C-

Yelp
Great ... great ... great !!! I love this little place ... takeout food that feels like comfort food ... love ... love ... love !

Yelp
The Burgers here are amazing! My wife the kids and myself stopped here after a long evening at Celebration in the Oaks. The place is literally a hole in the wall but those are always the best in my opinion! The service also was stellar being I walked back to the car with one of our kids and the cashier helped my wife get the food together. I definitely recommend and definitely will be back!

Yelp
This place deserves a review. Absolutely delicious food. Definitely a hidden gem in New Orleans, Lakeview area. Everything is bought the day of, so it all tastes soooo fresh. I had the mozzarella sticks which are the freshest mozzarella sticks you will EVER have. As well as the burger which was a classic cheeseburger. 10/10

Yelp
Tried a few things today. Foods are amazing, service is amazing. The weather was pretty warm today. So we decided to stay inside. The outdoor space is nice too. I would recommend this place to anyone who lives here in New Orleans or just to visit New Orleans. The guys are very nice. We have 3 little ones. As soon as we entered, one of them helped us with the sitting arrangement. We all (including the kids) enjoyed the food and their service.

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times lately and love it. I order my food and they bring it right next to Parlay's Barr. Always friendly service and a good value. I shall return!

Yelp
Swung by since we felt a little peckish during our walk in Lakeview. It's a small shop with just a couple of tables to sit down and eat, but the Blackened fish tacos we got were fantastic! The fish of the day we got was mahi mahi (apparently, the fish available for the day changes frequently). The fish and veggies seemed fresh. The mahi mahi was blackened and seasoned perfectly! So delicious!!!! It wasn't at all greasy either, so we went home feeling healthy too. For $11 you get 3 fairly large fish tacos. No skimping on the fish or toppings here! It was very fairly priced considering the location, the quality, the portion, and the taste. We'll have to come back to try their other menu items soon! Bonus: Ashley (sp?), the staff member who took our order and served us was just super sweet with solid menu recommendations!

Yelp
Surprised how much I enjoyed the catfish sandwich here!!! Bread reminiscent of Dong Puong ban mi bread! (Which is the very best!) and FULL of fish and dressed well. Very friendly staff- quick service and outside seating plentiful Daughter had the pulled pork poboy and we shared the fries. Probably my favorite catfish so far!
google avatar

Kayla G.

Yelp
One of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've had without needing BBQ sauce. I asked for BBQ in the side, but I think there was a miscommunication between me and the cashier. It was so good bro. The pork was so juicy I didn't need nothing on the sandwich but the meat. Them fries were amazing. They were like Rally's fries 2.0. So crunchy and flavorful. My mom had the hot wings but I forgot to ask her to try some. She did say they were good. It smelled good. The service was good. The cashier helped use understand everything on the menu and greeted us kindly.

Yelp
Everything about this spot was amazing. There's few tables to dine inside, but there's a nice bit of seating outdoors. Just walked in to order and they brought our food out. We started out with the Cafe fries, which was maybe the best "loaded" fries I've ever had. Roast beef, sour cream, cheese, jalapeños (lots of them) usually when you order something like this it lacks a lot of those toppings but these were heavy on the toppings! They were phenomenal. Went ahead and ordered a hamburg, which was also phenomenal. Fully dressed but I did have to add some things of choice for a small upcharge I believe. Cooked perfectly (medium), everything about it was great. The buns did have a million seeds on them and shredded cheese which I'm still not much of a fan of but outstanding nonetheless. I believe it was $46 for 2 meals, 1 app, and a drink but totally worth it. Very much recommend

Yelp
Came thru one nite after my husband and I attended a wedding. I wish I had pic but I didn't order anything for me really. Just ate off my husband's roast beef po-boy that was nice size and good, my daughter had the cheese sticks they sell. Lordy!!! Definitely have to get some with any order. Lightly battered and so cheesy with authentic mozzarella! Open late for whatever your need may have been. We door dashed it to our hotel and their food was hot and fresh untampered with and still good for them to eat.

Javonne P.

Yelp
I tried their burgers and onion rings dipped in their house made Remoulade sauce was so delicious. Looking forward to going back to trying something different.

Yelp
Love this local spot for burgers and seafood. We've tried it all and it's all wonderful!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the few open late and honestly for good food at a great price - it is great! Adjacent to a bar and some outside area for seating. It is not fancy at all but the food is good service excellent and price excellent.

Yelp
Family owned & operated business. Small charm atmosphere. Food cooked to order. The shrimp tacos are delicious
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
Their tacos were amazing !! Esp their charcoaled shrimp!! The mozzarella fries were so good It was about $100 for so many dish! We got almost everything on the menu!

Micheal H.

Yelp
I've been here many many times and I always get a great burger. No frill just a good good burger. Looking for a reliable cheeseburger then you'll find it here.

Yelp
I completed a pick up order by mobile 4/9/23. The quality of the food was great. The ambiance is nice. The staff was friendly, patient, efficient, and helpful. A staff member even popped the top to the root beer. Lol. Sweet! If you are searching for a great local authentic restaurant with character and love seafood, visit Lakeview Burgers and Seafood. I did, and it truly elevated a beautiful sunny day in New Orleans! We love our festivals, but here come get your festivities on anytime. Thanks guys!

Yelp
Delicious food, very friendly staff and family owners, great location, and they stay open late. We found them by searching for 'seafood' and 'open now' at 10pm, and were so excited to find them, and had a great meal.

Yelp
The fried catfish and fried oysters were fantastic! Ashley was very welcoming and helpful!

Yelp
I ordered fried *Catfish* and what I received was NOT Catfish. It's swai and should be noted on the menu. I paid over $17 for this food and it's not what I expected. I'm mad and had I drove I would be up there getting my money back. I'm so disappointed. :( All of this is going in the trash. -_-

Yelp
Fast Service! Great Food! The fried shrimp tacos were so delicious as well as the fish sandwich. The veggie topics were super fresh and appetizing.

Yelp
First of all great customer service!!! We stopped at this charming restaurant for our date night! The chef/owner sold us on his handmade huge mozzarella sticks and we also got a bacon burger that he offered to cut in half for us and an order of deliciously crispy fries! They were so friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is very romantic! We chose to sit outside in this weather. The tables were nice and the scenery was great!

Llew L.

Yelp
Love this place! After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Wanted the fish tacos. Young woman at the counter said that the Mardi Gras crowds wiped them out of fish and they haven't been able to get more yet. Turns out they were only out of mahi-mahi. They still had catfish. I ordered blackened catfish tacos. Also decided to try a side of "Cajun potatoes". The tacos were great! Three big ones. Two filled me up for lunch; saving the other for supper. At first glance, the potatoes looked like ordinary russets. But they packed a kick! If I get to the Lakeside Park area again, I will definitely revisit Lakeside Burgers and Seafood.

Bradley C.

Yelp
The burger was good! The hot sausage poboy was terrible. I've never had a bad hot sausage poboy! So when I say it was bad, that is an impressive failure! Also, the portion of coleslaw that I received for nearly $3 was so impressively small that the price per weight would be up there with printer ink!

Yelp
Great service. Delicious food. Small place. You have to sit outside, but it was a beautiful night.

Yelp
I had bid on and won a gift basket at a fundraiser back in the spring and included was a GC to this restaurant. So last night I drove over and spent it all! We had Mahi tacos and blackened shrimp tacos AND fried okra and fried pickles. PLUS I got a fried shrimp plate to go. The grilled tuna tacos were perfect and it was a huge amount of food for $10. The blackened spices were a little strong for me when I tasted Katie's shrimp but she loved it. The baskets of fried okra & pickles were huge and definitely meant for sharing. And my fried shrimp & fries were delicious for lunch today. They only have bottled drinks, but I heard them say you can get an adult beverage at Parlay's next door. And there is a bunch of outdoor seating, but only about 20 seats indoors. I bet they do a huge takeout business. I heard someone ask and they will have boiled crawfish soon so those outdoor tables will be perfect. The burgers looked huge. The staff was lovely. I enjoyed my food and thought it was well priced. Plus they support the same wonderful group that I do so I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Claire L.

Yelp
Delicious hole in the wall. I usually wouldn't order a chicken Caesar salad from a burger joint, but boy am I glad I did. It was delicious and HUGE. Highly recommend. It made me feel a little less guilty about getting the loaded fries, which were also delicious! It's nice to have a neighborhood place so close to home that is consistent and fresh!
google avatar

Reiona A.

Yelp
I'm only giving them 2 stars because of the music and location. Long story short, my bf and I had been here before in the past and it was great. This time around not so much. We had ordered a well-done hamburger & cheeseburger, instead we received half done burgers. Plus, it was SUPER DRY! Of course, as a man, he ate it anyways. It seemed like the chef already had his mind set sending out burgers like that. Don't ask me how I want my meat cooked. I was disappointed and wanted to return my food. But in the midst of wanting to send it back, the waitress never came back until it was time for the check. I had to come home and cook it a bit more. It was juicy and delicious. Why couldn't they have done it at the restaurant? I have no idea. Well, try at your own discretion. The bill came out over $36 for 2 burgers and 2 sweet teas. Humph.

Lacy B.

Yelp
The food is so bomb and the service is amazing. Small kitchen ran by the best and he slings the best

Yelp
I was leaving an appointment in Metairie and was very hungry. I Yelped restaurants in the area and started seeing pictures of seafood tacos and landed on a photo of the shrimp tacos here. I drove over. I placed a to go order. The man at the register was pleasant and patiently answered my questions about the menu. I settled on the shrimp tacos I drove over there for and THEY WERE WORTH IT! I got the shrimp blackened. Just yummy. Now, the place has limited seating and it's a bit cramped, but clean and cozy. I don't know that I would dine in, but I'd definitely go back for takeout.
google avatar

Yelp
My FAVORITE late night spot. You get freshly fried seafood and the oysters are amazing. The service is awesome too, walked in one night at 12ish in the am and tonight after 9pm. Same great service!

Iman K.

Yelp
I ate here nearly a year ago, but just started writing reviews and had to give this place one. I visited New Orleans by myself and dined alone every place. Here, I sat outside while eating their fish tacos and I was just saying "Mmmm! Mmmmmmm!!" the whole time, despite how weird I may have looked! Their fish tacos were everything and I am so happy I came a little out of my way (on foot) to try them!!!

Dana W.

Yelp
Had delicious shrimp taco's today from here!! They are absolutely the best! We were telling the nurse about them and she said yes they are as I go eat there!! Give them a try!
google avatar

Renee B.

Yelp
What can I say about this place, it's simply awesome. It's not only a perfect after soccer lunch destination, but it's also great for a late night dip. Great burgers, salads, oyster or shrimp Po boys, and onion rings. Everything is fresh, and prepared upon order. You will always get a picture perfect plate, and delicious meal.

Yelp
We were at City Park, at a track meet after a long day's drive. I was casting about for a nearby place to fill our bellies and ease us into that Big Easy way of eating that can best be described as extravagant. This was billed as the best burger place in the area - which sounded fine to us - so we stopped in and we were glad we did. This is a TINY place between a bar and another restaurant - so small they don't even have restrooms (but the restaurant next door is fine with their guests using theirs). Our server was Ashley - and she is PRECIOUS and knowledgeable and just wonderful to talk to. She was rushed - she was the only server out there - but she was still warm and hospitable and just great. We had burgers and mozzarella with marinara. True to form, every bit of it was handmade/hand-cut/fresh as can be. We loved the neighborhood and plentiful parking, even on a Saturday night. We didn't even mind the very colorful (toasted) patrons of the bar who sat at the table next to us and liberally peppered their conversation with words more colorful than the norm. We even got a catch-phrase from listening ... "Well, it's cheaper than a cat," though we are not sure what THEY meant, we use it all the time. I fell in love with the neighborhood, the great food (and reasonable prices) and sweet Ashley at Lakeview Burgers. I'm a fan!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service! Family owned. Never really noticed it despite that I frequent the Starbucks nearby. However, the food was really good. really fresh. My husband had a burger and in one bite he said "SO FRESH", he knew the burger wasn't pre-frozen. I had the shrimp tacos and they were really great. Fresh shrimp and its almost like they grill their pico de gallo. They also sell fresh seafood when in season. I will be purchasing my gumbo crabs from them in a couple of weeks. I'll be back because there were some other menu items I wanted to try. They serve food til midnight which is clutch!

Allen T.

Yelp
Great food and prices are still reasonable. It's a quick place for take out and the staff is courteous and friendly, The French Fry po-boy should not be missed. So tasty!
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
The place is small, small, small. It's more suited for takeout than actually eating in but there are a few tables inside and 2-3 outside. Be careful not to sit at one of Reginelli's tables or they will run you off. We learned that the hard way. The menu is small. It's basically burgers, po-boys and fried side items. The lady friend and I each ordered a burger and shared an order of onion rings. Both were very good. The burger is cooked to order and had a nice chargrilled flavor. The burger is a little too thin for my taste and I don't like sesame seed buns. There is also no alcohol served but you can get a drink next door at Parlays and they will actually deliver your food in there for you as well. I wish I knew that before we scarfed ours down.
google avatar

Endya H.

Yelp
This was a random lunch stop for me! It is a cute little ducked off restaurant. It is very very small, so if you're looking to go with a group, keep walking lol but if you're just stopping for a quick bite this is worth the stop. I had the blackened shrimp tacos and they were incredibly flavorful. The shrimp were really big and blackened to perfection. I really enjoyed the tacos and plan on going back to see what else they have to offer.

Freddy R.

Yelp
Good burgers. Family owned nice people. Not long of a wait for great food. I've never had a bad meal here.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
*sigh* another terrible experience. I ordered the chicken & sausage gumbo & fried pickles. Idk what this is, but gumbo isn't it. When I opened the lid I thought it was chicken noodle soup. Roux is NOT supposed to be this color. The "roux" is absolutely tasteless, just felt like a was eating hot water & the chicken in it was dry & obviously pre cooked. Also the rice was already in the gumbo prior to delivery, so it was swollen & mushy. I'm astounded their chef would actually try to pass this off-brand Campbell's soup as genuine southern gumbo. I've eaten completely disgusting gumbo from California, & it was still better than this awkward soup. Completely inedible, & the pickles were stone cold. *barf*
google avatar

Courtney L.

Yelp
This is the first place we stopped after getting of the plane. It was close to where we are staying and the reviews looked good. The food and service just proved then right. The shrimp beiginets were amazing. My husband had the corn and crab bisque ad's I tried the chicken andoulie gumbo. Both were amazing so full of flavors. For the main we had shrimp tacos, 1 fried one blacked. Both were full of flavors. For our first meal in the city, we were more than impressed! The service was also amazing. We sat outside and the server brought it right out. Thanks a ton!
google avatar

Elle N.

Yelp
Got the Poboys (Grilled Shrimp & Fried Oyster) to-go , the components were good. The grilled shrimp was cooked well and flavorful, oysters still tender, however the whole thing was dry, no remoulade, not even mayo! It all just sat on top of everything dry and lifeless. They weren't cohesive as sandwiches at all. Overall disappointed that I wasted the money.
google avatar

Jeanine W.

Yelp
Love that there are open late. Caught them after a pelicans game, there was no one in the spot food arrived very fast. We got the seafood beignets which were very tasty. Its not loaded with seafood tho i think it could use a bit mor. The burgers were really good tho nice size patty well seasoned. Definitely good enough to make a second trip. Place os very small on the inside maybe 3 tables and a few tables are located right out front on the outside. Its also located next to a bar I'm sure they get some business from them as well.
google avatar

Yvette D.

Yelp
I had the fish plate. It included six small filets that were light, crispy, and tasty. These were accompanied by an order of fries that could have fed three people! Overall it was a good dish, but I subtracted one star because I think $15.00 plus dollars is a bit much for what you receive!
google avatar

Yelp
Upon walking in, I was quite shocked at how small this place was. Probably the smallest restaurant I've ever been too. Literally 5 tables and a few front patio tables. Felt a bit claustrophobic with it being that small. We thought about sitting outside at the patio tables but a few folks were out smoking and just wasn't a good combo. Anyhow, after looking at the menu the title didn't really seem to fit because you would think they would have a variety of "burgers" to choose from but its only one basic burger that you can build your own choosing from bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onion (basic ingredients). There are other "sandwiches" you can choose from. We ended up ordering the café fries which was a good portion that can feed about 4 people and it was delicious. We also order the shrimp tacos, which you can get them fried, grilled, or blackened. I chose fried and they were probably the best shrimp tacos I've had. didn't need any additional salsa like I thought I would. shrimps were season perfect and the pico de gallo was fresh. The boyfriend order the burger adding swiss cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. It was pretty juicy and tasty. My friend order the catfish platter and she enjoyed it with enough leftover to bring home for another meal. Although the place was small, the food was on point and I'm still sitting here daydreaming about those tacos and fries. Oh and btw, there isn't a restroom there. You would have to walk next door to the bar if you needed to wash your hands or used the restroom. Bummer. Hoping they would expand to a bigger location with a restroom! For now, i'll just order for take outs.
