Lakewood Amphitheatre

This was our first time to this amphitheatre and it was dope. Saw Hardy he was so insane. One bit of advice and ima write this in bold letters not cause I'm yelling but so you see it lol. IF YOU ARE A MILE OR 2 AWAY FROM THE VENUE AND PEOPLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ARE SAYING YOU CAN PARK HERE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY. DON'T DO IT. THESE ARE SCAMMERS WHO ARE TOO LAZY TO GO GET A JOB AT THE VENUE RATHER THAN SCAM PEOPLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. The show had plenty of free parking it was great.

One of my favorite places to see shows. Bathrooms are clean. I loved the misting station and the water fountain. I got hot and wanted to throw up but the cooling stations helped. The merch lines were not long. I love sitting on the lawn.

Overall great experience. Security was great and kind, however, the seats are not recommended by me. If they had a downward angle for shorter people to see over the taller people maybe then it would be worth the increase in pricr, however based on my experience I recommend saving your money and go for the lawn. Pit area looked small from my angle so I can't speak on that experience. Another issue was trying to get out of the venue took 2 hours for several people. Unsure if this was just a one off or not.

I've been to this venue many times over the years and this last one proved that the place has gone very downhill. First off, we were promised "free general parking" with our ticket purchase and even verified by phone which lots to go to. Once we arrived at the lot, we were charged $55 to enter. The attendant stated that not enough tickets were sold for the show, so now they were charging for all parking. This is a ridiculously greedy way to handle things. If vip parking is offered for $40, what sense does upping the charge for general from $0 to $55 make?! Halfway through the show, the women's bathroom toilets stopped flushing, which made the last couple hours extra gross. I didn't try any food, but drinks are expensive. Alcohol is $16+ per single drink if you want that, and even just a plain red bull cost me $8. They did advertise $2 hot dogs - maybe those are good. The lawn was also closed, removing that genuine Lakewood experience. The stage production quality was great, the staff was friendly and the bands were incredible, which saved the day for me. I don't know if I want to return after all that though.

Great venue just be prepared to stand in order to see the stage and or monitors. Food and drinks overpriced but what can yoy expect from event venues. For ex 3 chicken tenders and fries $19

Great venue! Saw Rüfüs Du Sol last Wednesday and had GA pit ticket. Sound was very good and the up close views were excellent! Yes traffic leaving can appear to be congested, but I just sit in my car for a bit and it's gone! :)

We went to a Rufus du Sol concert. We purchased lawn tickets. They do not let you bring anything into the amphitheater. You need to have a clear purse. You need to rent a lawn chair. The lines were long at the bathroom and the food/drink stands but they moved pretty well. The lawn was nice until Rufus du Sol came on. Then the lawn became very crowded. You couldn't sit down because you would be stepped on. The sound was good but I used ear plugs to cut the sound level.

Great time at the concert!!! Getting in and out was a lot of fun with all the traffic, but drop off was easy and in the premium parking lot. If you are picking up come early before the show ends to make it easy to find your person. We hit a delay getting out because of an ambulance, but eventually we were released from captivity. Make sure you have a clear bag too and no chains or spiky items or you will pay a $10 locker fee to store it until the show is over.

First things first- parking in the paved lot was $60 for this event- Five Finger Death Punch. What in the entire HELL??? With those prices they can afford to fix up the joint, but I gotta be honest it was like 30 yrs ago. Not much changed.... Still run down, but staff was super friendly at the gate!! Didn't eat the food, but beer & drinks are OUTRAGEOUSLY $$$! You can take your own water bottle (empty l) through the gate & they have fill stations around for free. So there's that. Bathrooms are OK, but they ran out of TP in just about all stalls BEFORE the concert started & women staff standing around outside the doors on their phones & talking to eachother.... I had to say something to them & the jumped, but what?! I mentioned it also to the hospitality tent & they jumped too. Concert amazing- see pics & videos. I'll come back, but I understand there is a FREE PARKING LOT around there... gotta find it!! Rock & Roll !!!

Lakewood Amphitheater, now known as Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood, is one of Atlanta's premier event spaces with a rich history of hosting legendary performances. From its opening in 1989, this venue has been the go-to spot for big-name concerts and events. The setup includes a covered seating area and a large, sprawling lawn, which gives it a festival-like vibe--perfect for enjoying the variety of performances the space attracts. Over the years, I've seen an incredible lineup here, from Chris Brown, Future, and Meek Mill to The Marley Brothers, Erykah Badu, Blink 182, and Drake vs. Lil Wayne, just to name a few. Whether it's a hip-hop show, rock band, or reggae vibes, Lakewood has it all. The concessions are overpriced, so I always recommend eating and drinking before you enter unless you're prepared to spend a good bit. The parking situation has changed recently--what used to be free in some areas now charges, so if you can, opt for a Lyft or Uber. Overall, I really enjoy this venue. It's got that festival feel, and with its size and acoustics, it's perfect for big, lively concerts.

We flew in from California to see Hardy at Lakewood Amphitheater and had an amazing time! The venue was fantastic, but what really blew me away was the staff. I lost my wallet on the lawn, and the next day Akeasha contacted me to return it exactly as I had dropped it. Huge thanks to her and the cleaning crew for their honesty and integrity. I'm beyond grateful -- they turned a great night into an unforgettable experience! #lakewoodamp

Had the most amazing time with my daughter at the Pierce the veil concert. The venue is well thought out. It was my first time visiting this venue. But what impressed me the most was the customer service: there was an issue with getting out of the venue and it took us almost 2 hours to get an uber due to backed up traffic. The venue manager reached out personally to me via email and let me know that there were 2 separate accidents that required multiple emergency personnel response which caused the delay in traffic. How is that for that personal touch? I'll definitely be visiting again. *please bring Weezer to Atlanta.

I went here on 10/3/2024 for The Marleys concert great time great vibes! This is my second time at this venue.

I do not recommend this venue for several reasons. First, it's located in downtown Atlanta, and traffic getting there has always been a nightmare. Parking prices are outrageous--general admission parking costs $125. Fortunately, we found parking in a safe spot across the street for $50. The drink prices are also expensive; I've been to many concerts, but this venue seems to have the highest prices. The venue is hold a lot of people, making the lines for drinks and bathrooms incredibly long. On the plus side, the lawn area is nice because you can see the stage from almost anywhere. I paid for seats up close, the view wasn't great, so we ended up moving to the lawn and had a much better experience.

So came here for a concert. It's been a couple years and it's exactly how I remember. Outdated seats. Half covered half not. The food and drinks are fine but they don't give lids ppl were spilling drinks all over the place. Plenty of security and help all around. I would say parking was about smoother then other times - it's is cashless now. This place needs updating but I would come back but I only get seats on the covered part

I mean I get that it's that old, outdated open concert venue tucked in a sketchy area that nobody goes to anymore, but that does not always should equal to crappy food and beverages options offered since some venues like these do carry themselves up and afloat with that OG vibes. FYI $22 +tips for a single shot of Gray Goose, for you to figure. But that speakers this place has definitely need some major update - it's so muffled up can't figure what the highs & lows.

The food and drinks aren't even the problem here. The seating is extremely outdated. They give you cups with no lids but the seats don't have cup holders. And what's the point in having seats if you can't see because people in front of you are standing up the whole time. The seats to slop more or something needs to be done. Also when the concert was over at 11pm we were stuck in grid lock in the parking lot for an hour and a half. Nobody was helping nobody was directing traffic it was terrible and unprofessional. I would never comeback here again unless it's literally my only option to see something I won't be able to see anywhere else.

Very poor experience. There is no reason it should take two hours to get down the street to get in the venue. Where is the traffic control? I paid $60 for premiere parking that says fast entry and exit. I missed half of the concert due to premiere parking. Then when I finally enter the venue and I attempt to use the bathroom not ONE toilet is working. Half of the toilets didn't flush and the other half were overflowing how unsanitary. By far the worst experience. I will never attend Lakewood Amphitheater again and I hope no other artists decides to choose your venue again.
