Based on all the reviews I've seen, I had to go and give them a shot. I got there about 11:30 and luckily, they didn't have the lunch crowd yet. It was a very clean place and their menu was easy to read. I got 2 sandwiches; Combo Reuben and a Turkey & Swiss. Both sammy's were large and delicious but for the price a bag of chips and/or a soda would have been a nice addition.
I think they do themselves a dis-service by calling themselves a "Deli". They are not a deli. A real deli prepares most of their food from scratch. In fact someone who was ordering when I was there asked for'Chopped Liver', which would be a very common item in a deli, especially a Jewish style one. They are more of a soup and sandwich shop as there is no real scratch cooking done, with the exception of probably their breakfast sandwiches. I do not know as a fact, but I'm sure that they purchase their soups and sides prepared and are not done from scratch on location. Not that there is anything wrong with that, as there are many delicious prepared foods available, but again the word deli to me designates a completely different experience.
I did enjoy my sandwich and will go back again because it was good and the service was incredibly friendly and outstanding.
