What a beautiful, bright, and spacious patisserie! The counter is styled like a gigantic home kitchen, which creates such a cozy atmosphere. I was amazed by how delicious the pastries look and their surprisingly large sizes. The ladies working the counter were also incredibly nice. We had a quick conversation about me being new to town, which was very welcoming. I ordered a delicious puff pastry with pineapple and a creamy filling with a hint of coffee—it was incredible. They also have a small gift and coffee display where you can pick up tasty things perfect for a gift or a treat for yourselves. Parking here can be difficult, but the location is very walkable. If you're in the neighborhood, you really don't need to drive here; it's a very nice stroll. I'll definitely be back for coffee and more treats. A great find in the neighborhood!

I just came here for the first time. I came in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised to see they had a vegan option. I got the vegan strawberry cake. It’s absolutely delicious! Strawberry isn’t usually my favorite option but this is delicious! It’s on the sweet side which I like, but not everyone does so it’s worth mentioning. I also got an iced vanilla matcha which is also very good, but not sweet. They even added an extra pump of sweetener so I imagine the default way they make it is not very sweet. I was very impressed by how clean and fancy this place is. It’s very open and there are lots of places to sit. I will definitely be back!

This brand has very good products, but only this restaurant has everything you need for a pleasant time. It has a nice, spacious, and bright room. The aesthetics of the delicious desserts and the interior make you want to have a date here. It's not sure, but I think the table arrangement could be improved to add more comfort to the restaurant.

My best friend and I took a trip from Atlanta up to Boston for the weekend, and this place was on our list! It was definitely a line worth waiting in, and it moved quickly anyway. 😊 It was like walking into pastry heaven. Everything looked and tasted beautiful. Highly recommend! 🥐

Seating space is huge and beautiful. However when we went to order on Sunday, there was a limited menu and we were told that certain things were only seasonal and they are not available like their most popular Croissants and some desserts. And we decided to go to the seaport branch to explore more which had all their popular items on menu available. I’d still visit this place for ambiance and regular menu items.

The quality of the pastries was top-notch. They are on the heavier side because of creamy fillings. The ambiance is welcoming, with ample seating spaces and high chairs. But, the iced latte was probably the worst I've had in my life. It was extremely bitter. I don’t know how they would make that, but it ruined the experience.

Google
The croissants were great, a bit dry for my taste but great overall. The drinks are amazing, I had a blueberry latte and strawberry Italian soda which were delicious. I would love to try their weekend specials. Plenty of seating and beautiful ambience. They were also playing Ariana grande on the radio which we loved.

I go there every morning with my dog Nala it’s the best place to enjoy your breakfast and coffee in a peaceful setting, perfect for studying or getting work done. They’re incredibly dog-friendly, and the staff are some of the friendliest you’ll ever meet. Sam&Nala

Yelp
Friends have graciously shared with me during a quick visit to Boston. It is so delicious!!! The flakiness of the pastries and the perfect capture of savory and sweet still stays with me. They certainly specialize in croissants! Although I haven't walked in here in person, the packaging of the pastries speaks to the elegance and care that is put into baking these pastries! I've been so blessed!

Yelp
First visit, and left unimpressed. 1) I ordered a Latte Macchiato and the lady at the cashier kept asking me if I wanted a Latte or a Macchiato. I had to point to the "Latte Macchiato" on the menu. 2) While I was waiting (2nd) in line, the barista asked what would I like. But then ask me to waiting for the cashier...all while the customer in front of me did not order any drink nor the barista was making any drink. NOT a good first visit experience when the cafe was not busy on a weekday morning - there was only one other person waiting in line behind me. I'd go to Fuel just 5 mins away.

Yelp
Update, went back and tried the hazelnut block croissant pastry. It wasn't as sweet like Nutella filling. It was more like a chocolate pudding filling, and it was really good.! this place is definitely a good place to come for afternoon tea, hot chocolate, and my favorite green Matcha!

Yelp
We've been to other location, but we this spot is SPACIOUS. Def could see spending time here finishing some work while having a pastry (pistachio crème croissant maybe) and sip on a coffee. Now we did come a bit later in the day, cold and rainy, parking out front at meters. They were out of the croissants we were aiming for today but that's okay we'll be back. They def have higher end of prices but for the occasional treat and latte, it's good! They use actual lady fingers crunchy with a nice mascarpone cream on top. The lady enjoyed it! Will be back to try the croissants!

Yelp
Drive past here every single day and haven't made the time to stop in until this morning! Everyone and TikTok have been raving about the tiramisu latte so I came just for this. I'm an ice latte kind of girl but was recommended hot instead so I took the risk. As someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth I thought the flavors for this latte were very well balanced. Yes it is sweet and is definitely a dessert drink but I enjoyed it just not something I can drink everyday. The space is very cute inside and I can't wait to Bring my girls here for dessert next time while I try another latte! Washington is a busy street but parking is not hard to find. I plan to come back soon to try more items and find a cozy spot to study!! Thank you for being in our neighborhood!!!

Yelp
I have been meaning to visit one of the many Lakon Paris Patisserie locations for a while now and finally the other day, I was able to stop by at the Brighton location! We were actually in Brookline eating dinner and were only footsteps away from the Brookline location, however, that location was already closed... luckily Brighton was still open and not far away! Very large location! Much bigger than the Brookline one. They have lots of tables here; I can see this being a perfect spot to grab coffee & getting some work done. I ended up getting the tiramisu latte. I actually ordered the iced version but the girl who helped me ended up giving me a hot one lol. Typically I don't drink hot coffee & prefer it iced. It's alright though because the hot coffee was still pretty good & didn't mind it hot since it's cold weather season anyways. Comes with a ladyfinger and whipped mascarpone cheese. Very tasty, I loved the flavor! It's definitely a dessert coffee & very much so like you're eating tiramisu. I wouldn't get this every day but once in a while I wouldn't mind! At almost $10 for the hot tiramisu latte, the price is quite steep. BUT I have to say, it's not everywhere that you can get the items they offer from here (especially in Boston), so there is that. I was honestly hoping to try their pistachio croissant! With having gone to Paris not too long ago, I have been obsessed with pistachio croissants since & not many places in Boston do them, or do them well. Unfortunately, we came a little late and they only had a few pastries/desserts left, with most of their offerings sold out already. Will have to try next time, for sure! I would get the tiramisu latte again. Probably not every time since it's on the sweeter side, but regardless, still good! Parking: street parking available right outside.

Yelp
The latest expansion of the Newton original is an expansion indeed, with expanded croissant selection and an expansive dining room with seating for at least 50. They're going with a "something for everyone" strategy, offering basic traditional croissants (where I think they shine most), specialty croissants in all shapes and sizes (which are the shiny objects drawing the Instagram set), and sandwich croissants such as ham and cheese. And more complex desserts too, plus one of the finest chocolate chip cookies (hockey puck shaped) in the business. Croissant quality is high, though I do miss the early Newton days when it was even higher and fewer options meant greater chance of one right out of the oven. Get a mix of traditional and specialty and at least one will wow you. Atmosphere is cozy. Staff is welcoming.

Yelp
The pistachio mascarpone croissant filling is heavenly. Honestly it kind of overpowered the pastry but it was so good it didn't matter. To be honest the biggest star was probably the tiramisu latte. It is very sweet though so if you aren't into sweet coffee skip this one. Will be back for other pastries because they all looked so good. Will say they are expensive but they are huge so worth it. Plenty of space inside to enjoy on a cold day

Yelp
What an exciting addition to the neighborhood - this Lakon location is huge with a variety of seating options, as well as outlets and wifi for those looking for a place to work remotely. There are also single stall bathrooms. We got a Thai Tea Ring Croissant and a Monkey Bread to split. I also got an iced Rose Latte with Almond Milk. The croissant was filled with delicious Thai tea cream that wasn't too sweet and had a really strong tea flavor. The monkey bread was sweet and had a great texture. The rose latte, however was a little milkier than I'd expected after having tried it a few times at their Brookline location. I would definitely come back to try more of their pastries and enjoy their relaxed seating.

Yelp
First time trying any Lakon location. This one is way bigger on the inside than expected and it's really clean and neat. The woman who greeted and served me was friendly. I got a cortado and a chocolate croissant. I thought the cortado was going to be too milky, almost like a flat white because the cup looked kinda big for some reason, but I think the mug walls are just thicker because the drink was excellent. Great espresso flavor, perfectly textured milk. Chocolate croissant was decent. Looked really nice on the outside and had a good crisp exterior but was a little denser and breadier than it should be. The bar is admittedly a bit higher at the moment due to my recent memory of the excellent chocolate croissant from Greystone in the South End. As a French patisserie, I'd expect the croissant to be better, but the cortado definitely exceeded expectations. I'm sure I'll be back to try some other treats and we'll see how that affects my opinion of this place but overall a good experience.

Yelp
Pastries were amazing and very unique. I love French pastries a their croissants with cream filling always hit the spot!

Yelp
Frankly, I am surprised by how large the bakery and dining area are. It looks small on the outside, but once you get in, it comfortably seats between 40-50 people. You can totally linger and do work without feeling guilty of hogging space. Bathrooms are available for customers. I highly kouign-amman ($5ish) as it is delicious (layers of croissant dough with a light glaze). The specialty croissant in my opinion are a bit expensive (starting at $9.50) and do not taste as good as the plain flavored ones. The staff is prompt and quick.

Yelp
I have stopped by multiple instances to try not only their dine-in menu but also a variety of pastries. I love how Lakon Brighton has new pastries every now and then which makes it a delight to come in for a surprise. My recent favorite is their Pistachio Paris Brest. The pistachio cream was heavenly as it was not overly sweet, and the pistachio flavor was prominent without being overbearing. I do wish the pastry itself was flakier and easier to break into. The texture of the pastry was a bit hard to stab into with a fork to eat. I have also immensely enjoyed their passionfruit eclair and pistachio cherry pain suisse. I have tried multiple croissants such as pumpkin spice, pistachio mascorporne, and matcha raspberry. While I found them alright, they did not stand out amongst the other pastries. Their tiramisu latte was alright as it was not overly sweet, but not my favorite coffee-wise. I also enjoy their madeleines as they are a great snack when you are craving something buttery. Overall, I love swinging by here every now and then for a pastry to treat myself. Although a bit on the pricier side, I am impressed by the aesthetics and creativity behind the pastries.

Yelp
This French bakery is so cute and elegant. The bright lights and French inspired decors make the cafe feel quite charming. All the pastries look absolutely beautiful. Staff were patient, kind, and very helpful. Must say that prices for the pastries here were on the pricier end compared to other boston bakeries. Some pastries were more aesthetically pleasing than it tasted. The hazelnut cube was a bit dry and too dense in our opinion, but maybe it was just the timing in the day. The kouign amann was amazingly buttery, flaky, sweet, and heavenly. I would go back again just for the kouign amann.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Should have inspected what I was buying and skipped it. All the butter leaked out of whatever I chose (deliberate amnesia on that) and the top was burnt. Bad batches should be donated. There's no way whoever made those looked at them and thought they were edible.

Yelp
Honestly, you can go wrong here. These are some of the best pastries I've ever eaten, and so many of them come in a gorgeous package. I've never seen cube or ring croissants anywhere else in Boston. I'm very impressed that the croissants are not soggy inside with all the filling. You definitely want to come hungry or prepared to share, because they're very large, which is reflected in the price (as is the quality). And the tiramisu latte they have right now is perfection.

Yelp
Pastries were delicious. There were so many choices to choose from. I personally loved the lemon mousse. The place was very spacious with lot of seating. Service was very pleasant and inviting. Definitely the spot to enjoy morning or afternoon coffee time.

Yelp
This is the newest Lakon Paris Patisserie in Brighton Center and is the first with space and a menu for sit down service.

Yelp
Cute pastries and they surprisingly also have great coffee which is sooo rare. I have to try their tiramisu one next!

AB H.

Yelp
Not sure why this place gets such high ratings. The hazelnut chocolate croissant baked item (shaped like a cube) was dry and the goop filling in the middle was not very good and too much for the amount of bread.

Felicia H.

Yelp
Such a yummy cinnamon roll and blueberry latte! The coffee wasn't too sweet which I really liked because I hate too sweet lattes.

Heidi S.

Yelp
ordered the Tiramisu latte (iced) and it was a $10 horrendous experience. The coffee was hot but they added ice which made for warmish coffee (not iced) and then a topping of ricotta cheese was added to the warmish coffee. the topping proceeded to melt into the warmish coffee making it a warm cheese like beverage. I took about 3 sips of the $10 drink hoping the ice would chill it but was so grossed out I just threw it away. disgusting. and expensively disgusting.

Alice Y.

Yelp
The croissant is phenomenal. It is buttery and flaky. The fillings is not too sweet. Will definitely go back!!!!!

Yelp
So first, these are expensive. Also, the store is supposedly open until 7 so I have no idea what they are selling! Stopped there around 3:00 and there were about 4 items left to choose from, the cases were almost empty. Got a strawberry bow tie and a hazelnut caramel pastry. $20! Have to admit they were both delicious, I just wish there was more to choose from! Apparently you need to get there early?

Becka M.

Yelp
Delicious! Decadent but not too sweet pastries which is fantastic. Service was a little chaotic but still polite, they were very busy. Clean and big open space. A+

Kirsten E.

Yelp
They've either fixed whatever humidity issue they had or it's just winter now! Just had a lovely crisp peppermint croissant.
