Had the worst experience with family. Extremely rude manager Mr.AMJAD didn't do anything and insulted my family when we complained. At 115 pm we entered, almost everything was empty, what was left was very raw chicken, burnt veg dish, dry rotten biryani.. my sister in law kept mentioning but Mr. AMJAD did nothing but badly insulted everyone and charged everyone including 2 kids who didn't even eat. Old location was great but after this behaviour NEVER going back and I'll definitely spread the word.

A friend recommended Lal Qila and true to it, the interior is quite attractive and nicely decorated. Food was great and we enjoyed our meals a lot. We ended overstaying a bit but the proprietor was patient & very nice about it. So I don't get the negative feedbacks I read at all. I have been to India a few times & also lived in Singapore before where Mid-Asian food were readily available due to its large Indian population. This restaurant may not make their food as spicy but they are definitely quite tasty. Will recommend.

This is the worst place in terms of customer service. My friend invited couple of families for Sunday brunch. When we arrived there, there is no place to sit as there was a private party going on. Dishes were empty & all the drinks were gone. We somehow eat & then my friend asked for soda since there is no water on the table & kids were asking for drinks. When he went to pay for his bill & told the owner (Amjad who has very bad attitude) that you shouldn't be charging drink since there were no drinks although its included in brunch. Owner not only refused that but charge $2.25 per drink. His total bill was over $400 & we decided that we'll never go to this place.

Please stay away from this place, they have the worst service and very very bad attitude. Food does not taste at all. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. We had a party at Lal Qila recently, to our surprise the old man who claims to be an owner of that place was very rude. we asked for a table to put the gifts and the answer was to go across the street to Menards and get one. The food was served by only one waiter and was refilled with a tiny bowl at a time. Biryani was just rice and no meat and once we really got mad at him, he just added meat and chicken from another dish into meat biryani and served. Water- what? they don't refill. there is no such thing as called cleaning the tables, you get to put away your own plate. With no warning the lights gets turned off. One waiter one cook and that man claims to be owner supporting a party of 120 and the restaurant customer. That man needs to retire or go to so sort of training, Very very rude. This place is really bad and I would never return even for lunch buffet. He even asked the DJ to bring his own table. Food really sucks and will not be refilled unless asked. 24 cans of Coke for a party of 120, when asked the answer was it is in cooler cooling. Basically we paid for to get insulted by guest and the restaurant staff. Don't deserve a star at all

I have been there several times over the last 5 years and every time I go, I find the quality of food deteriorating. The last few times I did carry out. The bhindi masala they gave me was bad and I had to go back and return it after I started eating at 9 pm. They promptly returned the money however I couldn't relish my food and got busy calling them and driving back. I thought it may be one off scenario (Dec 2015). However, that was not the last. The last time I ordered carryout was when I had party at home and ordered a half-tray karahi gosht which is definitely not cheap ($66). What they gave me was leftover and all the mutton pieces were severely over cooked and cushy cushy and not solid pieces. I could barely differentiate between the mutton pieces and gravy, it was so mixed together. Since it was leftover food, bad smell started coming when I started packing up after the party. How could a fresh item go bad so quickly!!! Even the guests may have realized that it was bad, that they barely ate anything from the tray. My whole tray was a waste. This is the last time I am ordering food from Laquila and would request others to verify the food specifically if they are doing a carryout. (Mar 2016).

It's too damn expensive. place is clean. i went for Sunday brunch, four adults and 3 kids. They say price is $15 per person, but they charge 1/2 buffet price for kids aged (1.5,3,5 years). On top of it they tack a 8% service charge. when i complained they say if you are more then four people kids including its a charge they put on the bill, its not mentioned anywhere. Total bill 4 adults, 3 kids 8% service charge, + tax= $135. Do your math you can have much better and decent food for a lot less.

One of the worst restaurant you can think of. Owner is a illiterate person & don't have any manners. I held my son's birthday & just two days ago they are telling that restaurant has been closed by city because of rodent infestation. He is not returning my deposit money by saying that change your party date. I don't want to have my son's birthday to a place that have mice & closed by city health dept.

On father’s day 6/20/2015 at 8:40pm during the month of Ramadan, I was fasting; I visited Lal-Qila restaurant along with my Husband and my 5 year old. I have visited Lal-Qila restaurant prior to this incidence, so I had high hopes and expectations from this restaurant. Upon arrival after a 30 minute long hectic drive to the restaurant; the receptionist did not greet us; he goes what do you want? I told him, (older receptionist man) that we’re party of three; he didn’t say anything; we assumed that we had to wait; while waiting to be received at the front desk; we noticed party of four arrived; they were immediately taken to be seated on the normal round tables. So we patiently wait and we noticed the receptionist has ordered some people to put up a cheap plastic table into the middle of the front door exit. They didn’t ask us if that table was ok. We assumed it was for us, I decided to ask the receptionist, how come you are putting a cheap white plastic table for us to sit down? Even though I could see at least half side of the restaurant was vacant; while the others get a normal treatment? The older receptionist man goes; I put up this table for you, take it or leave it. Till this day, I am confused, why did the receptionist decided not to give us normal table, may be because we look Indian why such a bad hospitality; I called Lal-Qila to inform the reason we left, the receptionist took my call and was being rude and un-apologetic and finally just hung up on me. The point I am trying to make here is I was so embarrassed to bring my husband for his father’s day treatment at Lal-Qila; I will remember there horrible customer service. I will not recommend this restaurant for any one; please do not go here. They do not treat everyone (Indian/Pakistani) equal, I do not know why. I hope this situation does not happen to anyone else.
