"This recently opened restaurant is offering Valentine’s Day cookie kits and hot cocoa bombs from chef Allie Lyttle. Cookie kits ($25) include 12 sugar cookie hearts with decorating icing and sprinkles. Hot cocoa bombs come in either plain dark or milk chocolate ($6) or funky flavors like cereal milk and peppermint bark ($6.50), with savings when purchasing a four- or six-pack. Both treats are available to order until February 5, with pick-up on February 10 after 12:30 p.m. at all locations (Howell, Ann Arbor, Royal Oak) or shipping on February 8. We had such a nice time at LaLa’s last night! The appetizers were delicious: feta dip and corn dip. We also ordered the Ohana pizza and the other couple had the Big Dawg pizza. Both were excellent. If Portnoy were reviewing the pizza as a standalone, I’m not sure how well it would fare. However, pizza is always good and the atmosphere was fabulous!

We've been coming to lala's since they opened a few years ago. This is a comfortable casual eatery that has very good food and a good selection of draft and bottle beer as well as wine and coffee. The pizza quality is very good. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. The atmosphere is really great. This is the gem 💎 of the town of Ashville.

Wow! Lala’s is amazing! I cannot wait to make it a regular stop with family and friends. The atmosphere is amazing, the food was wonderful and got to us QUICK, and the service was great. Our pizza was out before I was even finished browsing the books…two of which I brought home with me for much less than I would have spent at the bookstore - from an atmosphere that was a million times better. I will be back again and again…what an amazing opportunity for Ashville. If you don’t live nearby, it will be worth your drive. Hit up Farm Wife and Co, House of Hope Thrift, and the other local businesses while you’re there and make a day of it. The most excited I’ve been about a restaurant in a long time! Well done everyone.

If you love the cozy corner cafe and bookstore vibe then you will love LaLa’s! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. They have a good selection of wines and they can recommend pairings for the best experience and taste. Just know that if you want a slice of chocolate cake you better come early it goes fast.

Nice cozy place, very clean. We ate in, but if you order take out, you can sit on the couches and look at the many books or sit at the bar. Pizza was good although I like a crispier crust, prices are average and service was excellent. No complaints at all. We ordered the Zander 16" which has meat toppings for $20.48. Will be back for sure to try the salads.

Lala's is our favorite spot in town or out of town! We are regulars not only because of the delightfully cozy decor and delicious eats, but the carefully crafted wine and beer selection, the family-friendly atmosphere, and more than anything - the friendly owners, hosts, and staff. We've spent Valentine's Day here, done their wine tastings, and enjoyed their scrumptious brunch with specialty coffee that rivals Starbucks in quality. If you're looking for the best combination pizzeria/bookstore/wine bar with the friendliest staff around, this is the place to be. They also feature seasonal desserts that are to die for! Don't miss out on this beloved community secret - it's worth the drive from wherever you are!

Great food, fantastic selection of drinks, and a very friendly & professional staff! I always enjoy my visits to Lala's and always have a great time there! The images in the woodgrain are fun to find as well. Found a doberman pinscher on one of my visits there!

The service here was amazing every time we turned around someone was asking if we need anything. The food was top notch, we order the baked feta, chicken salad and the grumpy bus driver. I will definitely be coming by again. I also ordered an iced coffee Togo and it was very smooth not bitter or burnt tasting. Definitely recommend.
