"More than just a restaurant, this eatery is a part of local history as it occupies a building dating back to 1919 that once belonged to a group of farmers and acted as a casino and a type of social club. In the hands of the Feliu family since the 1950s, it has taken on a new lease of life under the baton of Cristina Feliu and her partner, chef Àlex Carrera, who came here to set up his own restaurant after working for several years at El Celler de Can Roca in the province of Girona. To a delightful 19C-style backdrop featuring lots of vintage decorative details, savour cooking with a contemporary flair where locally sourced ingredients take centre stage, all of which are explained in detail with every course.
