Lalo's Fine Mexican Cuisine

The food was tasty. Chips AND Salsa were above average. The problem was the service. 1 hour for those chips and salsa. Tortillas weren't brought with fajitas until 20 minutes later. No sizzle! Twenty minutes for two mojitos, then they only bring out one, and before I had a chance to drink it the server came to the table and asked if I still wanted the drink!!! No water. Television was on Holocaust. Not cool.

Decent service and even better quesadillas! We hosted my book club meeting on the patio, and it was perfect! Our server was likely new, so I’ll give him a pass; he was nice but just needs more experience serving. However, everyone loved their meals so I can’t complain.

Fast service, friendly stuff. Food was good enough. Price is good as well. They do offer lunch specials. We went this place with my coworkers. We were a group of 13. They did their best. The atmosphere is good, calm, there is nice music playing around. Overall I am satisfied with my visit.

To start the chips, salsa, and black bean sauce were good but not great and I don't understand why they don't just give you enough of everything so you don't have to keep ordering more. We then had the Cacun salad and the El Famoso and my wife loved the salad but I was not impressed by the El Famoso. The rice was bland and the enchiladas had a bitter, mole after taste that was not appealing. We also ordered a side of the chilli con queso and it had very little flavor. If you're a fan of Mexico City Mexican food you might enjoy it, but all in all it was okay but not great and there are much better places in town.

Delicious food. Tacos Al Carbon with crispy onion straws, fresh corn tortillas, and the greenest guacamole. So fresh. Loved the pepper salt rim on the margarita. You should come here. Yum

My sister and I visited Lalo's together. She devoured her food (the Americo dinner: brisket taco, chicken enchilada, and tamale) and encouraged me to give a rave review. For my part, I absolutely loved their Mango water. It tastes so strongly of mango that you feel you are biting into the actual fruit. For dessert, we shared a slice of the Tres Leches cake. It was creamy yet light as air! Highly recommended.

The restaurant is really nice inside. I liked the vibe and the food was really good.

First Visit and I recommend Lalo's! Quaint atmosphere, great service, and tasty food! I enjoyed the taco plate with 2 beef and one chicken!
