Where to Eat the Best Ceviche in Dallas-Fort Worth | Eater Dallas

"This oft-overlooked North Dallas eatery serves up some of the city’s best Mexican fare, and the ceviche at Lalo’s is not to be missed. The preparation is simple, the ingredients are fresh, and it pairs perfectly with a few (or several) margaritas on the restaurant’s patio." - Amy McCarthy

Google
This restaurant serves delicious Mexican food! I highly recommend it. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. If you are looking for authenticity Mexican food, Lalo’s is the place. The food came out quickly and had great presentation. The service was exceptional. The waiter and staff were very attentive. Everyone made us feel welcomed. The restaurant is very clean and plays great Latin music.

Google
First time here and was amazing. I loved the customer service and our server. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he was great, and food is delicious .

Google
Absolutely incredible food and service, they are so attentive and friendly. I had a wonderful experience and the food was fresh, authentic and a great portion size.

The food was average to salty and greasy, not the best Mexican food I’ve had. The skillet caso was literally a skillet of hot oil. The food is definitely not good value for the money. It was served lukewarm, the brisket was very salty, and with the mixed beverage tax, one mango margarita was $17.00. On the menu, the “classic lunch” was listed as $14.95, on the check it was $16.95. By far that was the most expensive, and one of the worse Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. They’re more expensive than Villa Real in Las Colinas, a true “fine” Mexican restaurant. It’s definitely overpriced! The young waiter was very polite. There was no long wait because at 2 o’clock on a Sunday, I was the only customer. The ambiance is not very inviting, with poor lighting and decor. For 2, our bill came to $80 + $16 tip for two enchiladas lunches, one appetizer, one Margarita and one tasteless lemonade. I won’t be going back, and I don’t recommend it.

Google
I really can't comment on the atmosphere, I got my order to go The guacamole is outstanding! The best I've eaten in a long time. I ordered bean & cheese nachos which aren't on the menu. They don't come with what I consider to be standard, guacamole and sour cream. Had to order as sides. The containers for the sides didn't have lids that fit. The lids were balanced on the containers but not sealed. The salsa was tasty. The nachos were merely round tortilla chips with refried beans and cheddar, nothing fancy. The beans had a good flavor. No napkins or plasticware for the to go order. Service was friendly and attentive

Google
My new favorite Mexican restaurant. I was blown away by the attention to detail as soon as I walked in. I was blown away by the ambiance, the music (Gloria Trevi, Juan Gabriel, etc), the decorations, the color temperature of the lighting, the accent tile used on the kitchen wall, the color of the napkins, the style of the cocktail glasses, the decoration around the bar, the wallpaper, the professionalism of the staff, and of course, most importantly, the food itself. Our table of three each ordered a different entree and we were all delighted with our choices. I got the cilantro queso steak fajitas. I was a bit skeptical about having queso on my fajitas, since I tend to be pretty traditional… but it was delicious and had a little bit of spice to it as well. Strongly recommend their traditional margaritas and mango margaritas. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
Great fajita nachos. Carne asada is great too.

Google
Do not come here. I came here with my toddler and husband, waited 1.5hrs before our food arrived. My toddler was hungry and crying after an hour of being there. I am so frustrated at the service, the restaurant was extremely loud, and the fajitas were thin and dry. My son’s quesadillas were good 👍 They gave us -$20 discount to make things right.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in Frisco on Preston. The food is excellent. So much better than the average Mexican restaurant. Fajitas, guacamole, queso are all faves. Service is attentive and on point. Atmosphere is great. Rarely too busy. If you live in the area, get in there and support this place. You won't regret it!

Yelp
I stopped by for lunch around 1pm and it was pretty much empty. There was only one other table of customers. I guess that's their slow time. I ordered queso and the classic lunch. The entree was really good and I'd go back to have it again. I'd give the queso a 2/5. I ate it but wouldn't order it again.

Yelp
Located in an unattractive small strip center. The restaurant is simple, attractive and clean. The food is very good to excellent. The black bean dip used to be served complimentary along with the salsa and very good chips. Unfortunately the same dip is now six or seven dollars. They seem to use quality ingredients and the food is attractively presented. The service is friendly and usually very good however it can be uneven. The servings are not as large as most Mexican restaurants and the prices are somewhat higher.

Yelp
Food was okay, nothing to rave about. Got one of the lunch specials so maybe that's what gave it a mediocre experience. I definitely was looking forward to a good-sized brisket taco but got the Barbie-sized version instead. Not enough to satisfy this hungry Mexican. Service was great along with the ambiance! Servers were attentive, but then again we were 1 of 3 parties dining at the moment.

Yelp
We came for the guacamole and we're not disappointed. Friendly staff, quick service and tasty food. A bit pricey, but everything is nowadays. Give it a try.
google avatar

Yelp
What a wonderful find! My girlfriend and I were hungry for guacamole and stopped in on a whim. We were so happy we did! The guacamole was fresh fresh fresh! We also ordered the fajita nachos. The steak was tender and did not disappoint. Stop in and see "Ruth" for some great service.
google avatar

Yelp
I went here with a group of people and the food was just okay. The queso felt a little underwhelming and my Texas burrito was okay. The avocado was ripe though which was a plus. I'm from San Antonio so I've been to many many Mexican restaurants and this is pretty mid tier. Felt a little expensive for the quality.

Juan S.

Yelp
I can't believe I am writing a mediocre review for Lalos. My mom and I had been coming here for a few years. Now, it may be inflation related. But we always order the brisket tacos, and usually the tacos are full of brisket. This time both our tacos were just a few shreds of brisket. We we're in shock of how little meat they gave us. Also, no beans we're given with the meal. The lettuce and avocado slices for the taco was also very little. So we were quite disappointed. And the food is priced about the same as Mi Cocina.

Yelp
Fix TVs asap , or I will not be back , been a regular for 4 years at this local Add more menu items , it's Tex Mex that should be easy

Yelp
This is my go to after work spot! My coworkers and I have the best time here. I came in on a Tuesday and it was pretty dead but it was 4:30 so, most people are at work. We were sat very quickly and got complimentary chips and salsa. They have some of the best salsa, that I have had. It's almost a little sweet. While the music was playing we ordered our first round of drinks and I got the Rum Rum. It was frothy and delicious. I ordered the same drink over and over during my time there. For my entree, I got the Steak Nachos Mexicanos. They were so good. I love the avocado on top. I will definitely get these every time. Overall, this restaurant gets pretty busy at night and I can see why. This is some good Mexican food that you can find in Plano, Tx.

Yelp
Good, fresh, well executed Tex-Mex food served in an okay space (small and odd layout). Pretty plated food that tastes good but not great. But at least it's not overly greasy or overcooked, etc. As I said, well executed. I would return, and I'd put it in the top 40% of Tex-Mex in the area. But it's certainly not the best of the best.

Robert J.

Yelp
Stopped by for my favorite Mexican dish and ends up that my favorite bartender has returned....! Of course Angel is also my favorite....
google avatar

Debor B.

Yelp
I love stopping here and sitting at the bar. Angel makes fantastic drinks. All the employees are just wonderful and make you feel welcomed.
google avatar

Yelp
Very nicely decorated giving it a welcome ambiance. The wait staff was very pleasing and prompt. The food looked as good as it tasted

R K.

Yelp
I had the Famoso. It was mediocre Tex-Mex type Mexican food. Two enchiladas (1 cheese, 1 ground beef), one beef taco, and rice (no beans), for $17! Not only was the food mediocre, but expensive also. And to make a bad thing worse, the food didn't even come out hot. I won't be going there again.

Yelp
Lalo's Fine Mexican cuisine was a nice surprise. It is located in a strip shopping center, but don't let that fool you. Delicious food awaits those who venture in. The service was warm and friendly that made me want to return with friends. The restaurant is intimate but well decorated. I felt comfortable from the time I sat down. This is not Tex-Mex food but a step above. Not sure but it was more a Yucatán flair. I had delicious tostadas and my wife had Salmon with vegetables. Both were well prepared and full of flavors that made it very enjoyable. We plan on going back and try other menu items. Angle the Manager stopped by and greeted us and we were impressed with the friendly atmosphere. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Yelp
Great Tex mex spot! Had rocks Mary's, ceviche and Strak Nachos Mexicanos. Ceviche is probably the best in the area and everything else was great!

Kelly C.

Yelp
Great food and service. Our usual Mexican restaurant had gone down hill, so we decided to try some place new. I had seen good reviews and they did not disappoint

Alicia W.

Yelp
Great ambience, great service, great food, this going to be my spot for Mexican cuisine!!!

Savohna B.

Yelp
Ok so I absolutely love this place. The nachos are so yummy!!! My friends and I got the combination nachos and I could not stop eating them. The guacamole was fresh and the salsa was delicious. I also got the twisted margarita and it got me lit. It was so good!! Shout out to Angel for the amazing customer service. He accommodated my friends and I by bringing extra chairs to the bar and we had a blast. I will definitely be returning. Actually my friend ordered food to go from here once and I knew from then that I had to come here so I'm happy I finally got to try it. Thanks for the great service!!
google avatar

Yelp
The chips and the salsa were good. They also brought bean dip with the chips. The water was cold, ice cold. If you like chips and cold water come here. They only had three employees present to serve the entire restaurant; the waitress, the bartender and the cook. As you can imagine service was poor. Not because the waitress was bad, just because it's impossible for any one person to do everything. The prices were high, $15 for a chili relleno, $14 for three ground beef tacos, $14 for two enchiladas. I guess I mean they were high for what we received quality wise. Actually, right now I'm hating myself for putting that food in my body. Tomorrow I'll have to walk three miles to work-off a meal that I didn't even enjoy. So, come here for the chips and water... but don't count on a refill!
google avatar

Gaby C.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. It's not authentic Mexican but it's far better then your usual Tex Mex. The Guac is delish, salsas are good, just tasty food. Menu is still a bit small but I get it they just opened. Owner was all over service and incredibly engaging. Server was still working out the ki kid but was so kind and caring that it didn't matter. Cocktails were good flavor and strong! We will make this part of our rotation for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
First time experience and enjoyed it ALL! Margaritas were really good. They did not have that citrus flavoring or phony mix that gives me heartburn (weird huh??) Chips and salsa (with just enough heat) paired well with the queso and MARGARITAS . That's it ... Will return for REAL dinner food!!
google avatar

Yelp
So hard to share the flan!!! The portions are huge, but I don't want to share!!! The guacamole side, the black bean dip, the salsa, the warm chips!!! Angel's awesome service! The awesome entrees! So good ! Every bite and the ambience! I loooove it here! Fancy mixed drinks and attentive service is superb! Chicken mole, rice, and slaw was my choice today... on pointe folks! I have had mole sauce by all my Mexican grandmas in my extended family and this was so perfect! My hubby got the Americano... he loved the tamales so much! Everything was good, but the tamales took him to another level! The best choice for dinner tonight!!! I'm more than blessed to have Lalo's is my neighborhood!!! Where has their bean dip been all my life? I didn't even know black beans could taste this lite and silky!!! Shoutout to Lalo's for Covid-19 curbside service! Not only did they continue their services to the community with their excellence, but even Lalo himself was helping the staff out! He took my phone order when I called and said he was helping support his staff by being at the venues! Wow! I can't believe that I actually got to speak to the man himself!!! He thanked me for being supportive of the restaurant and I told him it was an honor to be able to help out one of my favorite venues! I told him that we usually see Angel when dine. He says Angel will be bringing out our order for the curbside pick up. We had enchiladas, carne asada, and even a margarita!!! Bravo!!!

Yelp
My wife and I had been wanting to try this place out, and the reviews were all so good. But then COVID hit and messed a lot of things up. If I had to guess, it would explain our experience as well. First off, the atmosphere of the place is very nice and comfortable, though the lighting is quite dim. The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy, and the salsa had good flavor and mild heat, as well as a black bean dip that was quite good. We both ordered the El Famoso combination plate. It comes with a crispy beef taco, beef enchilada, cheese enchilada and Mexican rice. The rice was good, as was the cheese enchilada. The beef enchilada was on the spicy side, so much so that my wife couldn't eat hers. Additionally, the ground beef in the tacos was very bland with very little seasoning. The shell on the taco was a bit stale too. I did like the little salad that goes into the taco on top of the meat because it had a very nice light dressing on it. It helped offset the blandness. The real kicker was my wife's beverage. She ordered sweet tea. When it arrived she took a sip and it was sour. Who knows how old it was. When we informed our server, she quickly replaced it with fresh tea. Then when my wife asked later for a refill, guess what she got? Yep, you guessed it! Sour spoiled tea! It should have been thrown out after the first time. The restaurant was not all that busy, yet our server didn't really seem to want to serve us and seemed very disinterested. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience after we had expected so much more. I'm being generous in rating this at two stars. There are many other places much better.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for the first time last night. When I first walked in I thought it was super cute and quaint! I love that it wasn't a huge restaurant like Gloria's or Mi Cocina...just simple. I got a virgin Mojito (still ended up being $10 and really only tasted like sparkling water!?!) and my friend got a margarita that wasn't sweet at all. We ordered chicken quesadillas and the beef cilantro queso fajitas to split. The fajitas were great - what a fun spin to regular fajitas. They came with fried onions and they were so good! The fajitas only come with tortillas and rice...no beans or anything. And we had to get extra tortillas that they charged us for. However, the quesadillas were subpar at best. We were both pretty disappointed. The service was decent - the guys waiting on us were kind but didn't come around at all once the restaurant got busy. Honestly, for what we got, this place was pretty expensive. Neither of us would come back only because we feel like we can get better Mexican food, for a better price (and more of it), elsewhere. At least we can say we tried!
google avatar

Pamela G.

Yelp
Very small portions I ordered fajitas and and there was an entire onion worth of onions no peppers If you're thinking about having guacamole it's gonna be $10.95 for a side of guacamole And it is nothing but avocado mashed up Way over priced

Russell B.

Yelp
Horrible service. Food just ok. Way better places especially Mexican in Plano. Overpriced food and drinks. Save tor time and money. The restaurant had a distinct bad odor when we arrived

Leslie B.

Yelp
I hesitate to have Mexican food delivered, it's never as good. And I haven't eaten at Lalo's, but heard good things so we ordered for delivery. It was incredible!!! I cannot wait to eat there in person. It was reasonably priced and delicious!

Yelp
Standing in the front for about 6-8 minutes no one acknowledged us , 3 waiters passed and saw us standing next to the door and still nothing . DISAPPOINTMENT, Won't give them another chance, doesn't look like they care about u as a customer, unless u have a table and they are all about you.
google avatar

Bella B.

Yelp
Great food, funny and accommodating staff. You really can't go wrong here. Drinks are great. Atmosphere is chill, it's just a decent place to stop for lunch or dinner that your never would expect to be less than packed (but it was. Only 2 people in for dinner that night). I'll be back for sure. They are super family friendly too.

Patrick G.

Yelp
When Anemia's closed in Plano, we had to find a new non-chain Mexican restaurant. Found fantastic reviews on Lalo's and decided to give it a try. The food, drink, and service was excellent. we sat at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with Sebastian. Needless to say, we found our new Mexican restaurant. I would encourage everyone to give the Frisco location a try.
google avatar

Aisha C.

Yelp
I love this place. My favorite dish is the tostada. It's always good. Last time I visited, one of my friends got the salmon and it was amazing. Looking forward to visiting again. Oh, the drinks are really good as well. Do yourself a favor, go check them out. I've never had bad service here.
google avatar

Kay L.

Yelp
It was no one in the building when we walked in and i dont know why this was by far one of the best places my girlfriend and i have tried on our vacation. There was a language barrier between the server and I however the food still came out correctly and on time. I definitely recommend if you're thinking about giving this place a try that you do it because the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. the atmosphere was nice and the modernist rustic decorations made for a great space. Theres no need to worry about portions as there was plenty of meat and topping in both meals which makes it worth the price.
google avatar

Eddie B.

Yelp
The food is actually quite tasty they do put quite a bit of cheese on their enchiladas so be careful for those that have cholesterol. As for their beans directly quite tasty can you can definitely tell that they spent time cooking these. Their rice is just perfect and nice and hot. Unlike usual Mexican food this is not very salty so that's a plus. The decor is actually not bad very clean and put together not too many tables and you can tell the day take care of their location.
google avatar

Alvin H.

Yelp
Maybe we went on an off-night but it was average, with a couple good spots and bad points.. Good - margaritas were on point and priced well, the salsa was also very good; try the spicy orange salsa for $1.95! Refried beans was also good. Meh - Chips had an aftertaste, service was painfully slow (though it was a busy night), and the food was just average (fish tacos, chicken enchiladas) Bad - our $11.95 "tableside" guacamole was not table side nor was it guacamole (pretty much sliced and smushed avocado), the slaw was very dry, chunky $1.95 salsa had a sour aftertaste Overall spent over $100 for subpar service, average food, disappointing guac but the superb margaritas saved the night.

Yelp
Lalo's Fine Mexican Food on Plano Pkwy at Park in Plano, TX, definitely lives up to its name. My wife and I thought we would try them out for lunch today. We had heard great things about them on the neighbor's app. Nothing we heard prepared us for what we found. The exterior is nothing special. Just at the end of a strip center with nothing to really distinguish it. However, when you step in you can't help but be impressed. This is not your stereotypical Mexican Restaurant. This place could be any type of upscale dining. There is soft music in the background, but nothing distracting. Ligting is on the dimmer side as you would expect from a fine dining establishment. There is a bar that looks well organized, as well as properly stocked. The staff were attentive and friendly. After being asked for our drink order, they brought us out chips with both a salsa and a warm bean sauce. Both were wonderful. The menu offered a good variety of not only TexMex favorites but also traditional Mexican dishes. At first I thought the prices might be a little high compared to your local neighborhood Mexican place, but this is not your typical Mexican place. When compared against places like Mi Cocina, the prices seemed right in line and we discovered that the food was even better. While waiting for our food I noticed two things. First, the silverware. It was substantial and gave the impression of quality. It told me that these people pay attention to detail. Second, I observed an elderly woman with someone who appeared to be her son. They were getting up to leave and the woman obviously needed assistance in getting up from her chair. As the son was assisting her up, a waiter rushed over to assist with moving her chair out of her way. He then went ahead of them to open the door for them. It was a seemingly small act of kindness, but one that spoke volumes to me. He didn't have to help, but he did. This symbolizes the spirit of service that I observed here. When the food arrived, everything looked wonderful. Very nicely played. My wife had ordered one of their lunch specials. It included a chicken enchilada and a brisket taco, rice and avocado salad. My meal had both a beef as well as a cheese enchilada, a beef taco, rice and an avocado salad. The flavors and textures of everything exuded homemade quality food. There was nothing typical about any of the items. The rice had more of a cilantro lime feeling as opposed to the typical Mexican rice. The beans were refried black beans. The chicken in the enchilada was moist and flavorful. The beef in the enchilada and my taco was nicely seasoned and well drained so my crispy taco stayed crispy. My wife's brisket taco had a soft corn tortilla with a nice portion of brisket. And the wait staff checked on us often enough to make sure our water stayed full and chips were refilled without feeling like they were always imposing on us. In short......this place is awesome. It would be a great spot to have a date night, dinner with friends or a business lunch.

Yelp
Hopefully this location will improve over time, it's still really new. I used to frequent the Preston location and still prefer it. Both establishments get a 5-star rating for service, hands down. It's pretty small inside, so keep that in mind for large parties. Queso was gelatinous and didn't have flavor, salsa was unmemorable. Everything was too lightly seasoned. Got the sour cream chicken enchiladas, meh.
google avatar

gaby e.

Yelp
I LOVE Lalos! Their Preston location is just as great but this one is closer to us now:) I went for dinner on a Wednesday night and the atmosphere was relaxing, and it was easy to have a conversation in there. Good for date night, business meal or family lunch/dinner. I had the Americano dinner which came with a chicken tamale, 1 brisket taco, and one creamy chicken enchilada, they were all so yummy! I highly recommend trying their "agua de mango" tastes like fresh mangoes, believe me you will fall in love!! If you're craving a margarita get their mango margarita, it's oh so delicioso! Went back this past month for a bday celebration, we had about 25 ppl and the service was great! Waiter was attentive and friendly, this time I got the mole enchiladas and my dad got the Queso Fajitas, both we're delicious

Yelp
I chose this restaurant with a date because the photos looked good and the rating was great. We walk in and the staff is attentive, well uniformed, and bustling. The vibe is nice and the decor is pretty ok though it could use either a bit more or a whole lot less flair. We started with queso flameado. It came out like a hot block of cheese because they failed to mix it with softer cheeses and seasoned oil and bits of grilled chorizo and onion to keep it from congealing into a brick. My date ordered the carne asada. It lacked the appropriate char, was tough, underseasoned, wasn't sliced, didnt come with any fajita style vegetables or garnish or sauce. I got the Americano. The tamale was well stuffed but the masa was bland and underseasoned. The taco was good but oily and hard to wrangle since they put all the fixings on top but had already folded the taco shut. How was I supposed to add them in without opening the taco again? The enchilada was ok, but it was essentially overboiled chicken and sour cream. Nothing tasted good. Everything was expensive. You know how food is either delicious and affordable or expensive and amazing? This cost more than it should but was only barely acceptable. Service brought me drinks but no water. Why? Guy swept around us as we ate. Couldn't he have waited? That's terribly rude in some cultures and just annoying even if you don't make the connection. Eating at this restaurant based on photos alone was the equivalent of being harmlessly catfished on a dating site, when your date wasn't horrible, they just weren't who they said they were. I do not recommend. 2/5 because it's obvious this place doesn't hate you, nor is anyone trying to do a bad job... It's just inept cooking and poor value.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally got to try this restaurant since this was recommended by many of our neighbors. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband got the nachos with steak and chicken on top. And the kids ordered the quesadillas (one with just cheese and one with steak) Our foods were delicious. Very tasty. I had 2 enchiladas in my order, rice and refried beans. It was from the lunch menu and u can order from the lunch menu until 3pm. We had a late lunch. We were there around 230p. I will definitely recommend. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because of the price.

Yelp
Went back to Lalos and the food was very good. Maybe there was a different cook the last time we went. We are very happy our favorite Mexican place was just how we like it.

D K.

Yelp
Went for lunch. Food was excellent. My wife had the Texan Burrito. Large portion (took half home). Most importantly, the flavor was great. I had Chicken Quesadillas. They were awesome. Great seasoning. Not bland like they can be. Awesome guacamole with it. Atmosphere is great. Small place, but nice design. Cool place for dinner too. Service was perfect. So friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Looking for a local Mexican restaurant to enjoy a good cocktail and great Tex Mex, then go here!

Yelp
The beef quesadillas and guacamole were awesome. The meat was flavorful and tender. The menu was a little limited but had some great options available. It took forever to get the check but then they took care of it quickly.

Yelp
This place is great! Friendly and attentive service, moderately upscale atmosphere, great food and good margaritas. Their chips, salsa and guacamole were on point.

Yelp
Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Popped in at 2pm. Had the lunch enchilada Monterey. Beautiful presentation absolutely best taste!

Yelp
I want to like this place but it feels like a shady used car lot. You walk in and yes they are super friendly; however, it feels like you are being rushed for the tip. They are very nice but it just feels like they would give you a crap attitude if you didn't GIVE THEM exactly what THEY FELT they deserved even if they don't. The location is set up nice and very casual but super clean. Definitely, a full star for interior/cleanliness. The food, is really where it falls short to me. Chips very stale and hard - tossed them. You do get black bean dip so plus and salsa is pretty good. I ordered the tortilla soup and it was greasy, way too salty and nothing special so don't waste your money - it's canned tasting! Like, where's the stuff?! Gaucamole was not worth $9 but it was good. Chalupas were weird, the beef was basic and topping was pretty good but the chicken one was so soggy I basically ended up tossing these into a southwest salad from Chick Fil A that I got for the next day but all mixed together turned out good. I also got a chicken sandwich; which would have been good, if there was an actual piece of chicken on the sandwich. The chicken was full of erks and tiny/thin I didn't even think there was chicken on the sandwich. My child wouldn't eat it, so not sure why it was a kids meal item. This to went into the salad as it was mostly a slaw on a bun. The fries were delicious. So, basically, it was a $50 salad with a side of salt soup and guac. Oh and a $2.75 soda that he never refilled as promised when I left with my "To Go" order. Overall, I'll skip this place and go to another resteraunt on another corner for better quality and less $

Yelp
Our first time experience today at Lalo's in West Plano was excellent, and we give them five stars! Angel waited on us and was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and prompt in his service. We started with La Paloma margaritas, and the kids had soda fountain soft drinks. Free refills on soda. The tortilla chips, warm beans and amazing salsa were mouth-watering! The margaritas were refreshing and delicious. Reminded us of sitting on the beach enjoying a fruitful refreshing drink. We also tried the La Chorreada margaritas. Woah! Yum! Try one, or both like we did. Our food was also very delicious. We ordered Chicken Fajitas, Chicken Nachos Mexicanos, Beef Nachos Mexicanos, and Cheese Enchiladas with double rice. Everyone thought their food arrived and stayed hot and was very flavorful. We recommend Lalo's in West Plano and we can't wait to go back!
