"At Le K2 Altitude, this restaurant is comfortably set in a chic mountain-style decor with an intimate atmosphere. The attentive service is top-notch. The menu comprises traditional cuisine, and the French classics, the likes of which are served at the great Parisian restaurants, immediately catch the eye – wild mushroom tartlet with fermented porcini jus or roasted venison with tangy beetroot and lingonberries in a grand veneur sauce. Flavour and generosity are the order of the day, and that also applies to the modern and subtle desserts by Sébastien Vauxion." - Michelin Inspector

L’Altitude is easily one of my favorite spots in Brussels. The atmosphere is truly special — you instantly feel part of a warm, lively community, yet there’s still a sense of coziness, intimacy, and privacy. The music sets the perfect tone, especially starting from Wednesdays when they play vinyl — it’s such a vibe. And the food? Simply outstanding. I’ve been there many times, and each visit the menu exceeds expectations. The combinations of flavors and textures are always surprising and harmonious — every dish feels like a new discovery. I also love the concept of sharing plates, which lets you sample almost the entire menu. This time we tried the pleurotes mushrooms, romaine, pumpkin, and the beef “bulgoguignon” — absolutely unforgettable. You just have to try it for yourself. To finish, the coffee financier was perfection — the ideal sweet note to end a flawless meal. Every visit to L’Altitude reminds me why I love this place so much. It’s not just about great food or music — it’s the whole experience.

We have been there on 25th Oct 2025 for brunch. The waiter was very kind and food has surprised me. I though the French toast was the classical thiny bread 🍞 but it was definitely better and much tasty compared to my expectations. After that, the sweet version of the French toast was good, is had the tipical taste of Nordic sweets with fruit, cinnamon and French toast. I strongly recommend.

[Updated] Everything I say below is true until the DJ showed up. I’ve never seen an ambiance degrade so quickly… my recommendation for cozy, come early. I left so i don’t give a bad rating. I wanted to have dessert… but distortion guitar killed it. The music per se was not bad, just bad for the experience. [Original] Perfect cozy ambiance, food that makes you feel people in the kitchen love what they do… they literally caress the taste out of the ingredients and deliver it right to your soul ( not to forget the waiter… on point wow )

Incredible food, seriously one of the best meals i have had in 2025. Take about 3 portions and share them. The waiting staff are really lovely, as are the chef and bartender. And as for the sound system, that is a pure work of art!

Inventive menu and great flavours; yet although all their dishes are meant to be sharing dishes, they are actually incredibly difficult to share (five soupy dumplings, one piece of celeriac…?) Service is slow, forgetful and a tat unorganised, but friendly. The sound, of course, is great, and we’ll be happy to come back for that.

Great brunch/lunch spot with delicious and beautifully presented tartines, a picture-perfect dj booth, and friendly staff.

One of my favourite restaurants in Brussels - what a tasty and creative cuisine! Allergies are clearly indicated, and the menu changes with the seasons. Service is great, and the DJ adds the perfect touch. It would be nice to have a vegan option for brunch 🤞

We've been here in winter and in summer, the first time we were blown away by the food, staff and atmosphere (+music!) ❤️ yesterday maybe a little less- I think with the sun it was a super busy day, so less time for mise en place in the kitchen? The food was nice, but not as great as the first time. Staff was friendly, but with the risk of sounding like an old lady: informal is good, but a waitress with bare belly button is a little weird when you are dining.
