Great subs, super close to Trinity Bellwoods park

Wife had sent me a reel overnight knowing I’m a sucker for a great sandwich and was scheduled to work downtown all day. Parked the work truck 30 feet from the door at 10:54am, doors were already open! Plus 1 star. I ordered the Italian Trio. What an incredible sandwich. Tons of ingredients and perfectly wrapped and cut. This was a ton of food and easily shareable. I saved half for later but it did get a bit soggy. The fresh mozzarella was so good, and a nice bit of heat from the chili spread. Pickled red onion adds a bit of sweetness to balanced the acid. Well balanced flavours. Loved it. Def recommend and will return.

Google
This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. I ordered the Turkey Swiss, and my friend went for the Italian Trio. Both were loaded with fresh veggies and generous portions of protein, creating a really well-balanced bite. If you’re looking for something light and refreshing, the Turkey Swiss is a great choice. But if you’re after bold, satisfying flavors, the Italian Trio delivers without being overly salty like many others.

Smashing IT! 🥪😋🥪 Nestled in the heart of trendy Trinity Bellwoods' Park Neighborhood is what I like to call SANDWICH PARADISE! A sandwich of all sandwiches! The king of sandwiches can be found and experienced all right here at Lambo's Deli! There's a reason why they there's always a line-up, and there's a reason why the place is packed with hungry stomachs! It's because the sandwiches that are being crafted here are just plain ole delicious! Simple wholesome ingredients that add to that flavor explosion! Whatever type of sandwich you're in the mood for, they've got! So if you're not sure what to have for lunch or dinner, then why not head on out to Lambo's Deli and enjoy an amazing sandwich that your taste buds and tummy will be grateful you have!

Google
Came here to try their sandwiches after passing it many times. Their sandwich did not disappoint. The sandwich itself was flavourful and was loaded. The service was direct and quick. I like how they have a buzzer system where you will be alerted when your food is done. This place is similar to a fast food place, there isn’t really seatings in store. There are some tall stools and some seatings outside the shop. It’s a cute and affordable quick lunch spot. Will definitely return again.

Google
Actual rating is 3.5/5. Waited 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon to try their roast beef. No place to sit around the area. They provided a buzzer so you can walk around and go back to the restaurant to pick up your order. Sandwich tasted fine. It was nothing special. Dijon mustard seed was very prominent. Go to grandma loves you instead and get their chicken club instead! No wait times and you can eat inside

Google
These sandwiches were top tier! Googled best sandwiches around me and found this corner shop and was sold on the photos and menu. This place was busy but worth the wait. Took about 15 mins to get the Italian trio and turkey and Swiss sandwich which was so fresh and a great size. Wish I got another one to try lol. A bit dated but I love that it’s a random corner which is a hidden gem, gives it a classic feel as if they’ve been a staple forever. Can’t wait to try more

Google
Lambo’s is honestly one of my favourite spots in the city. Their subs are next level — you can really tell how much care they put into the ingredients and the whole experience. Everything tastes super fresh and made with real attention to detail. Plus, everyone who works there is just so friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes the community better just by being there. You can feel the pride they have in what they do, and it’s easy to want to support that. Huge fan — if you’re anywhere near Leslieville, definitely stop in. You’ll be glad you did.

Google
This place is worth the hype and more!! Very quaint and it can get busy but nothing too crazy from my experience. The sandwiches are INCREDIBLE, the Italian trio is to die for. I can’t wait to come back for more as well as try other options. The service is always nice and they serve quickly.

Yelp
10/10 sandwiches! I love grabbing one on the way to enjoy at the park and people-watch. I've ordered the Italian trio ($16) and Italian vegetable ($16) on seperate occasions and loved both! Always so yummy, fresh ingredients with good ratios, good bread, and they don't skimp out on the ingredients either. I usually can only finish one half and save the other for later - the sandwich is literally the size of my forearm. I think the price is super justified, especially considering you'd end up paying the same amount at Subway for a less superior sandwich. The vegetarian sandwich is deceptively filling and low-key is more flavorful because I think they take care to add the umami and richness that the meat usually brings. Side note the store offers a couple t-shirt designs and other snacks, which are a little harder for me to justify buying but could be a cute souvenir or gift for your sandwich-obsessed friend LOL

Yelp
Ya its 18$ for a SANWICH, but sometimes you are hungry during a Softball game at Trinity Bellwoods and there aren't alot of other options around. Think of LAMBOS being an amped up Subway place with really nice ingredients, fresh bread and lots of bite. Quick and Friendly service and the sandwiches can easily serve two people as a snack. Yelp
Lambo's Deli is what sandwich shop dreams are made of. The most amazing looking crosscut you will find in Toronto (peep the pics) and the taste backs it up. The ingredients are as fresh as they come, and pairings will make you drool just by looking at the menu. Price might seem steep for some people (15 $ -17 $), but it would cost around the same to make it yourself. Let's take the Italian trio, for example: Fresh bread, 3 stacks of quality deli meat, thick slices of fresh mozzarella, homemade condiments and more. Plus, that sandwich is HEAVY; it feels like you're holding a baby. A true gem, I'm committing right here and now to trying every sandwich on that menu.

Yelp
I have had a couple different sandwiches and am a big fan. Will try the tuna next time

Yelp
Queen of sandwiches! I got the vegan sandwich, it is packed with fresh veggies. The sandwich was so well put together and every bite was so flavourful. I shared one sandwich with my sister and it was perfect portion for us.

Yelp
Lambo's gets a ton of hype and it's well deserved. They make classic Italian subs, using fresh ingredients piled up high. Their signature is the italian trio, which was salty and spicy, while the turkey swiss was crisp and refreshing. Overall Lambo's is an excellent sandwich, and really hits the spot on a hot summer day.
google avatar

Joan T.

Yelp
I am constantly craving Lambo's tuna sub, but all of them are quite delicious. Very stuffed full of ingredients. I do wish there was an option to toast the bread so cheese can get melty, but it's not a big deal. I know that would probably slow things down quite a bit, and they seem to be very busy often times. If you're in the area, grab a sub and head to the park for a nice lunch under the sun!
google avatar

Yelp
I tried the Italian vegetable sandwich, which contains eggplant, roasted zucchini and red peppers, mozzarella, pickled red onions, pesto, chili spread, breadcrumbs, and balsamic glaze. While the texture was on point with the fresh bread and various ingredients, I found the sandwich itself to be underwhelming and very salty. It's a bit pricey for a sandwich, but the portions are generous, which might justify the cost.
google avatar

Tanveer K.

Yelp
This was on my bucket list, I wanted to know what the hype was with this sandwich, disappointingly this did not live up to the hype, I got the roast beef sandwich and surprisingly there was a long line. The roast beef was okay, for 16 dollars not worth the price at all, decent size sandwich, you can share with two people that's for sure. The service was good, but when I took a bite out of the sandwich it was underwhelming, I wanted more taste and if you want to add more they charge more money, you already charging 16 dollars for the sandwich and if you want some heat you charge more for toppings, in a way subway is better. I wish they toasted the bread I hate eating soft bread sandwiches, lambo deli you have a lot of work to do, learnt eh basics in making a sandwich, because the sandwich was terrible.
google avatar

Lourdes G.

Yelp
I feel I'm being generous with the rating only because the ingredients were fresh but this one isn't sitting with me. I think it was the bread. I love deli, it's my second favourite food and I have traveled around just to try deli. I ordered the turkey pesto. was huge. two people can definitely share one. I loved the store and staff, everything else was great.
google avatar

Katja K.

Yelp
The Italian trio over the classic. It was a good sandwich but nothing groundbreaking.
google avatar

Wilma R.

Yelp
Tried the Roast Beef sandwich and it's probably the best deli sandwich I've had in Toronto. Everything tastes really fresh, and even if they're busy, you get your food pretty quick. I kind of wish they'd toast the bread + cheese - sort of like subway does - but it's honestly not a big deal because of how good the sandwich is regardless. Plus, the portions are huge! I only ate half my sandwich and was full. They have really cute merch as well. 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Kurtis J.

Yelp
The king and queen of subs or "hoagie" as I recently learned. Lots of choices. Tried a bunch and they're all heaven between buns.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Heard so many good things about lambos and finally had the opportunity to try it out. It was a big sandwich I only ate half of it for lunch and then the other half for dinner. It was filled with lots of meat and veggies. All the ingredients were very fresh. It was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
This place has been really popular but I think it might be slightly overhyped.. I came with some friends to try a sandwich and waited around 20 minutes (which was completely understandable given their popularity). They also don't allow you to stand/sit inside the place if you've ordered already so we sat outside while we waited for the food. The sandwich photographs very well but it really is dense and felt a little too salty. I got the Italian trio and all the ingredients were very salty with not nearly enough veggies to balance it out.
google avatar

Carl N.

Yelp
A fantastic sandwich and always hits the spot. 2nd best in the city and a must try! Most of the time, be prepared for a 10-20 minute wait though.
google avatar

Nadine C.

Yelp
YUMMY! the picture says it all, it's loaded! I was expecting the sandwich to be salty as salami usually overpowers everything but the lettuce, cheese and mayo really compliment it in this sandwich. The ingredients are really fresh. Half the sandwich is super filling already and the whole sandwich is $15! It's take out only so make sure the weather is good before you visit so you can enjoy it on your stroll around the area need to come back and try the Italian Trio!
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
Very good sandwhich with fresh toppings and great portions! The service was quick and efficient and even if there was a line, it would be worth the wait! The restaurant has no indoor dining but is close to parks or can be eaten on the go. The store is cute and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. 10/10 would recommend!
google avatar

Celine N.

Yelp
we got the Italian Trio on a nice summer day and it was really refreshing! you can definitely share between two people as the sandwich is super packed with ingredients. however, i found some bites quite salty while other bites were bland. it seemed like the sandwich was missing something. 7/10

Yelp
Ordered via UberEats. The ingredients were fresh, but $19 for this? BFFR guys. False advertising, nothing like the photo. Will not be returning.

Yelp
Give me a L- cross the A fold the M twist the B shoot the O! Lambo's is one of my favourite Italian sub sandwhich places that I don't get to visit as often as I'd like. It's hidden away (off the Ossington strip) near Trinity Bellwoods and right across the street from Northern Belle but easily spotted by its yellow, red and green signage. It's one of those iconic (and under-rated) places where everything on the menu is deliciously good, though the Ham and Cheese is a timeless favourite of mine. Seriously, I could eat here for lunch every day if I lived nearby. So are you ready?: CLASSIC COMBO $13 Soppressata, prosciutto cotto, salami, provolone, tomato, red onion, shredded iceberg, mayo ITALIAN TRIO $14 Capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread TURKEY PESTO $13 Smoked turkey, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, arugula, pesto TURKEY SWISS $12 Smoked turkey, swiss cheese, tomato, red onion, shredded iceberg, honey dijon, mayo MORTADELLA $12 Mortadella, provolone, shredded iceberg, pickled fennel, muffuletta, mayo HAM AND CHEESE $12 Prosciutto cotto, swiss cheese, red onion, dill pickles, shredded iceberg, whole grain mustard. ROAST BEEF $14 House roast beef, swiss cheese, pickled fennel, tomato, red onion, arugula, horseradish crema, whole grain mustard TUNA $13 Albacore tuna, lemon caper aioli, arugula, radish, pickled red onion, gremolata, Calabrian chili spread ITALIAN VEGETABLE $12 Roasted zucchini, red pepper, artichoke heart, fresh mozzarella, arugula, pickled red onion, pesto, Calabrian chili spread CAPRESE $10 (Add prosciutto $3) Fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, balsamic glaze, pesto In addition to subs, they do have salads, spreads and more. Even their little pop fridge is retro and fun. Super convenient and super classy: walk-in, order online, call for pick up and delivery. Perfect for a lunch in the park or a speedy grab and go.

Yelp
Loved the roast beef and caprese sandwiches. Went there twice before flying back to the states. We'll miss you Lambo.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered delivery, was great! So filling. Would definitely order again and they have great selections.
google avatar

Yelp
The only thing is they refuse to cut their subs into 3 pcs, and always remove any bad or poor review...
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
I want to like this place. It looks cool and the people that work there are super cool and down to earth. But the food is very bland. You can buy a more exciting sandwich at metro. Why am I paying $45 for 2 sandwich's that are super dry. It's a sandwich.... Put some mustard on it.
google avatar

Song P.

Yelp
This place is amazing. We got the Italian trio and the roast beef. Both sandwiches are huge and stuffed! My favorite was the italian trio. Salty, sweet, spicy with big chunks of mozzarella. Perfect bite every time. Would definitely come back to try other sandwiches but it would be really hard for me to not get the italian trio again.
google avatar

Larie L.

Yelp
Placed a walk-in order and took only 5 mins for my sandwich to be made. Tried the Italian Trio and it was good! It was stacked with high quality deli meat and the sandwich filled me up. I really enjoyed the combination of the 3 meats and it pairs perfectly with the roasted red peppers, creamy mozzarella, arugula, red onions and pesto sauce. The only concern I have is that I find Lambo's sandwiches pricey. For the Italian Trio, I paid almost $19 (tax/tip included) and it seemed like a lot to me for just a sandwich. With this price, this will be more of a "splurge buy" instead of your "go-to" place to buy sandwiches.

Yelp
Just had the Trio at the Lesliville location. Bing-Bang-Boom! Oh gawd! Excellent. ---

Yelp
(4.5) Steps away from Trinity Bellwood's, Lambo's Deli is nestled in a busy and quiet neighborhood. When we visited, it was take-out only, we grabbed two sandwiches and two Cola's to-go. The menu isn't very extensive, but you soon become deeply conflicted on which sandwich you'd like to get. We settled on the Classic Combo and Italian Trio subs for the day - the Classic Combo was exactly that; a handful of cured meats with a medley of classic vegetables and splashed with some light dressing. The Italian Trio, however, was in a class of its own. Salty meats, fresh mozzarella, vegetables, pickled red onion and roasted red peppers makes it sound like overkill, but it resulted in one perfect bite after another. Will definitely return, but it'll be personally hard for me to try something other than the Italian Trio.
google avatar

Mandy H.

Yelp
Best sandwich place hands down! Been to many places, tried many things..Lambo's is by far the best period(.)
google avatar

Jayne K.

Yelp
High quality bread, filled subs but also manageable to eat. Really good flavours, recommend the Italian trio!
google avatar

Victoria F.

Yelp
Good sandwich around Trinity Bellwoods. Sandwiches are stuffed with deli meat, veggies, and cheese. The Italian Trio was good but a tad bit too salty and a bit dry. The Smoked Turkey was better IMO, the mayo made it less dry. This would make a good picnic lunch if you're hanging around the park.

Pj L.

Yelp
VERY YUMMY SANDWICH My dad and I shared the Italian Trio and the Classic Combo. Both were very good. Italian Trio is more vinegary and a little bit of spice while the classic Combo is a classic deli sandwich with a creamy sauce. The service was quick. We waited about 5-10 minutes for both of them to be done and this is on top of the multiple other people there. So it was fairly quick all things considered. Only thing is that there is no place to sit. You go and get your sandwich and you leave. No sitting. Still not an issue tho for such a good sandwich
google avatar

Annabel N.

Yelp
Located in West Toronto This shop serves Italian styled subs that are packed with fresh deli meats, vegetables and cheese. All subs are paired with a light egg washed bun topped with sesame seed and are bake fresh every morning The buns are hollowed out to maximize the fillings. The Classic Combo sub was layer with soppressa, prosciutto, salami, provolone, tomatoes, red onions, iceberg lettuce & mayo. We really enjoyed the amount of lettuce this sub came with as it balanced out the saltiness do the deli meats. The Italian Trio sub was densely packed with capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, arugula, pesto & Calabrian chilli spread. We really enjoyed the chilli spread mixed with the pesto and roasted red peppers, it added a bit of sweetness and spice. Overall we enjoyed this small shop and we will come again if we're in the area. These were super filling and worth the high price we paid as they used quality meats and toppings. BTW, We recommend ordering online for pick up to skip the wait! 8/10 . . . Classic Combo - $ 13 (pricy) Italian Trio - $ 14 (pricy)
google avatar

Yelp
Meh. It's fine. Getting excited about standard cold cuts and cheese on a roll tells you something about how lame Toronto can be.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
I only recently found out this gem called Lambo's. They have a nice old school vibe. Since I had the chance I had to try it. I decided on the Classic Combo. The sandwich was made up of Soppressata, Prosciutto Cotto, Salami, Provolone, Tomato, Red Onion (I omitted this topping as I'm not a fan of raw onion), Shredded Iceberg and Mayo. The sandwich was packed full of toppings. They don't skimp here. Deli meats were thin sliced and piled high. The shredded lettuce was cool and crisp, perfectly shredded. The mayo amount was just right as well. This was all served up on a sesame seed bun. I would save overall it was at least an 8" sandwich. It was wrapped up tight so no mess when eating it. They slice it on half and then wrap it again. A sweet little package waiting to be devoured. I will definitely be back as I have a few more sandwiches to try.
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Best subs in toronto!!!! I usually get the Italian Trio sub and it was literally like going to flavor town. They also make the subs so fast, which is always a plus. It's the perfect place to stop by and grab a sandwich before heading over to Trinity Bellwoods for a nice picnic. The portions are HUGE and one sub is definitely shareable with someone else if you're not too hungry. The inside is also super cool and I love the green theme that they have.
google avatar

Yelp
Heard really great things about this place on Dundas West for authentic Italian subs. I've also heard they can get quite busy so I called in advance to place an order for pick up. This "Italian Trio" was filled with: Capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread. Everything was very fresh, the meats were good quality, and there was a good variety of toppings. However (unpopular opinion): I liked the pesto but found the overall flavours to be a bit underwhelming. Perhaps it was this sandwich in particular, and there might be better ones ones on the menu. I think if I was coincidentally in the area I might give it another chance. This first try was decent but nothing to write home about.
google avatar

Evelyn A.

Yelp
I am in their delivery zone by the skin of my teeth. However, recently I decided to order pick-up and walk. I had fallen into one of those weird 2020 traps where I hadn't left my house in three days. Oops. I got three giant sandwiches for my family, and they were all incredible. I enjoyed the Italian Trio add extra cheese and artichokes. It was insane! I adore it! I ate the whole damn thing and at noon and was full until the next morning. Worth every penny.
google avatar

Ebony D.

Yelp
Definitely a spot I will be returning to. Each sandwich has great flavor and is a good size. The staff was super kind when I came in and there were plenty of options available in the shop that could make for a nice Picnic day in Trinity Bellwoods (chips, soda, etc.) . This is one of the best sandwiches I've had thus far in the city. It is a must try for a nice summer day outside.
google avatar

Christine A.

Yelp
This was pretty good I would give this a 7/10 There was a lot of meat which was great. I just felt it lacked a little flavour but the italian trio which my bf had that contains pesto was much better! Large portions and pretty good
google avatar

Billy L.

Yelp
Lambo's brings me back to my childhood when I would go to Galaxy donuts in Roncesvalles for lunch, except this is much better quality food. Ordered pick up, was about 30-40 minutes but well worth the wait. Ordered the classic combo and it was everything we expected and more. The staff was super friendly even with full tickets of sandwiches to make. The sandwich was really good, loaded with filling, bread was also really fresh, iceberg lettuce gives it a nice light crunch with every bite. I was full after just half one half of the sandwich. Order a head of time so you're not disappointed.
google avatar

Arshile K.

Yelp
Subway but fancy is one way to think of this place. Another is as the great return of the deli sandwich in the Dundas West area. Lambo's calls itself a deli/grocer, but if we're being honest, grocer is a lot of an overstatement (expect to find mostly condiments and pasta), and deli is a bit of an understatement. This place specializes in making the subs you're used to, but better. First things first though - Lambo's knows how to brand itself. Playing up a classic 90s aesthetic, their sign looks like Sega and DHL had a sandwich-obsessed baby. I was surprised at how many people were in line to get a bite, and my guess is that this is an example of what happens when a business knows its target market. Kudos to whoever handles that side of things. Service was straightforward. They just opened five days ago, so I think the staff was focused on making sure orders were out in a timely fashion. I ordered the Mortadella, which came within the ten minute mark. This was a good sandwich! Very good even, so long as you're not expecting anything other than a very good sub. The homemade tapenade stood out, along with the sesame bread which had the perfect amount of bite. My only thought is the price - $12 for this kind of sandwich feels pretty steep to me. As they handed me my order, I saw them take a newly roasted roast beef out of the over. Charging a premium for that, I can understand, but from what I gather the mortadella meat was not made in house. Anyway, great overall! I'll likely be back to try that roast beef.
google avatar

Theresa M.

Yelp
We went on their first official opening day! It looks like this spot is going to be super popular - it's right by the park and they've got solid classic sandos! We ordered the Turkey Pesto and the Roast Beef - both were tasty! They were smaller than we expected (they look huge in photos), but still a filling sized meal - the sando size was pretty practical, nothing that you need to dislocate your jaw to fit. They could've been saucier though. Really solid sandwich shop that Toronto's been missing. They've also got some pantry staples you can pick up while you get your lunch.
google avatar

Ash A.

Yelp
Delicious. Fresh. Great portions. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The wrapping paper it comes in is so cute and such a classic and nostalgic wrapping for sandwiches. I don't eat pork so luckily they had an option for me. I'd definitely eat here again.
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
Stupidly good. Look at it. Classic and Trio are both fantastic. Not cheap but they're big.
google avatar

Kelly K.

Yelp
This is a very pretty sandwich. The soft fresh mozzarella lured me in. I had to try it. I ordered the Italian trio. I wasnt blown away by the flavour but the arugula was a nice addition. I think ill find another favourite here though. Great unique old school place.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
My roommate and I were down for trying different sandwiches in Toronto. I had to tell him to drop by here and see what the fuss was all about. We arrived on a nice sunny afternoon. It didn't seem like a lot of people were at the shop. A couple stranglers outside waiting for their orders. We were quoted 20 mins for our wait time. We ordered the roast beef and the Italian trio. Suprised by the wait time, we had an opportunity to explore the neighborhood and grab a coffee around the area. We came back and we're ready to feast. The roast beef sub was densely packed and fresh. The temperature was cooling, everything about the sandwich just made sense. It was a very refreshing and it tasted very healthy. I did not feel guilty eating it. Excellent choice for someone who wants a lighter meal. The Italian trio had the classical ingredients we all love. Capocollo, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread It was perfectly portioned to satisfied my appetite. It definitely felt a bit heavier than the roast beef after eating them back2back. Definitely worth the wait!! Will come back again for sure.
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Horrible customer service asking people after they pay to wait outside! NEVER again I waste my money! The sub wasn't even that tasty for the price I could have bought a double meat chicken or veal or steak at California sandwiches up the street!
