I went here in October and I truly have thought about it once a week since. There was a cool vintage seller pop up while we there. The beer was great, the olives were tasty. The bartender was friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. I don’t know what else you could ask for

This place is superb, has fantastic service, and has such a fun, casual, and nice atmosphere. Lambs is perfect for lunch, apps, or even a light dinner. The whole "build your own adventure" when it comes to eating and dining was a great experience. You can go just for a drink, great bread, and snacks; or you could go for a meal where everyone at the table gets to try multiple different things. I highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to go back next time we're in town!

I stopped by this small bar with friends for a simple, enjoyable appetizer and drink, but the experience was a MAJOR LETDOWN. I want to warn others not to waste their money. The cheese came in crumbled scraps, the salami so hard, I couldn't cut it with the plastic knife. Honestly, it looked like it had been pulled from the bottom of the refrigerator. No plates or dishes were provided. The martini was poorly made and strangely not served in a martini glass. The whole thing was careless from the presentation, the quality, and basic lack of attention to detail. It was not worth the money at all. I wouldn't go back and I'd encourage others to skip it. Lamb's should be embarrassed to serve the public. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I really enjoyed Lambs. This place had been on my list for a while, and I finally made there this month. I’d been seeing a lot of their posts on social media; they do tons of collabs with other eateries, breweries, and wine spots, which is always fun. When I visited, they were offering pours from Suarez Family Brewery. Not sure if that’s why the place was packed or if that’s just the norm, but I was surprised by the crowd. Still, it was easy to grab a table, and there’s plenty of bar seating. Big plus: ample parking outside as well. The ambiance was great — dark, cozy, a little rustic, and thoughtfully designed. It was lively and fun, and at times loud (but the good type of loud). The drinks were solid, both their beer selection and house cocktails. I had the Negroni and really enjoyed it. Honestly, I wish we had more bars like this. The one thing I wasn’t a fan of was the food, but I think that’s just because I went in with the wrong expectations. We ordered the brie and bread, and it was literally just a wrapped wheel of cheese, like we’d grabbed it from a grocery store. After reading other reviews, I realized they don’t have a dedicated kitchen, but their menu didn’t make that clear (or maybe I missed it?). I’d still go back for the drinks alone, just maybe after eating somewhere else.

If you want to support a locally-owned business and have a quality drink with a view, stop by Lambs! The decor is thoughtful and aesthetic. They also have small bites featuring bread from their next-door-neighbor Night Moves Bakery.

Google
The best bar in South Portland, and one of the very best in the greater Portland area. If Lambs was located in the Old Port, you'd hear about it from national publications, but lucky for us, it remains a hidden gem in South Portland. Great space, great music, great and diverse set of drink options. couldn't recommend highly enough.

Yelp
Absolutely trash hipster bar for people who moved to South Portland from Mass and NY during the pandemic. The anti SoPo. Avoid if you're an actual local.

Yelp
Lambs is still tremendous! An excellent staff lead by Wade, who are kind and attentive! An excellent wine and beer menu to meet all ranges of taste and budget. (Some excellent higher end wine to $3 miller on draft). Despite lack a formal kitchen wonderful bread, butter, smoke olives. They have pizza on Friday/Saturday or local food pop ups. It great for large crowd or date night. We often go off hours 3-5 since we have a toddler and they are very accommodating. I recommend it everyone!

Yelp
Loveeeee this place. Team is awesome. Atmosphere is spot-on. Wine Another spot to repeat again and again.

Yelp
This truly is the place to visit in Portland. I love talking with everyone who works there about all sorts of wines and food pickings. Also don't skip out on their pickle shot it's amazing. You really can't beat the view and atmosphere. LOVE LAMBS Also people, stop complaining about wine prices. You are getting a QUALITY handmade, thoughtfully curated glass of beautiful wine. Natural wine takes soooo much intention and so much experience to truly get right. Appreciate what you are able to taste. It's not going to be cheap because it's not cheap to create! Appreciate and enjoy. If you want a cheap thing to chug, go to 7eleven and get a mikes hard, idk. Just cut it out. Okay, thanks LAMBS! Love you guys!

Yelp
Very cute new bar in South Portland. It's a modernized garage space that has a lot of space for hanging out (both inside and outside.) The bartenders have been incredibly kind, accommodating and speedy! They have light snacks on the menu, and they have been experimenting with more food pop-ups. I'd love to see more substantial food there, so we could get more than 1-2 rounds. Bring a game, hang out on the porch and enjoy the water!

Yelp
One star for ambiance. If you want to eat sardines or octopus from a can for $30, this is your place! Honestly, overpriced for a 3 oz wine I received for $15! I looked up the price for a bottle and it was listed at $25. Would not recommend at all.

Yelp
Love. Love. Love. Headed out to check this new bar out on a perfect late summer day. It's gorgeous! It's a beautiful space set in a beautiful location with plenty of room inside as well as about 6-8 picnic tables in the back overlooking the river. A nice selection of beers and wines and tasty bites that focus on Night Moves Bread. We got the cheddar, butter, and bread to go along with our rose fizzy wine and it was a perfect snack. Service was lovely and handled the huge crowd that obviously had the same thought as me: late summer happy hour on the river. I'm looking forward to spending much time here. Bravo!

Yelp
Chill spot, friendly bartenders, nice selection of local drafts and interesting wines, tasty cocktails, beautiful space. What more could I ask for in my neighborhood bar? Can't wait for warm weather to enjoy the seating with bay views out back.

Olivia G.

Yelp
Love this new addition to South Portland! Drinks and food options are great and service has always been super friendly and welcoming. One quirk is their ordering system. You have to order drinks at the register (you can't sit at the bar and order). Makes for a bit of a cumbersome process. Other than that, we love it and will keep coming back!

Yelp
This new establishment has very expensive drinks, with a very small pour. The attitude is pretentious and the owner was extremely rude. I don't support unkind people with my business.
