Me and my partner booked our New Year dinner in this restaurant. And our experience was great! We payed 145€ per person for degustation menu with wines included. Dinner was from 20:00 till midnight. Food was delicious! Absolutely worth the money! And wines were also very good, I even made a photo of some to find myself those wines later for visiting friends etc. Food was all about fish and seafood but very creative. Scallops were fantastic, but my heart is with squids in curry sauce and with salsa sorbet! Staff looked happy and friendly. Music was nice. It was very warm inside. They also gave us dried grapes to eat on midnight for local good luck ritual. Could not be happier with a dinner choice. Good luck for chief and I would love to try another degustation menu on future

One more time please! Found this spot on my last day in Portugal. The food was tasteful, made with love, fresh (the open kitchen was facing me) and the staff was adorable. This was recommended to me by a local and I drove 45’ to get there. I would certainly do it again. One slight adjustment could be the rather loud pop and dance music. Maybe something more subtle would work better with the place. But overall a wonderful experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so far below expectations that it warrants sharing. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place wants to be gourmet—elegant menus, high prices for Portugal standards and a curated ambiance that tries hard to impress. Unfortunately, that’s where the effort seems to have stopped. The food was uninspired at best. Dishes arrived lukewarm, poorly seasoned. What was marketed as “refined cuisine” looked more like a rushed afterthought. A gourmet restaurant should care about presentation, and this felt more like cafeteria styling on fancy plates. For a restaurant positioning itself at the high end, everything from quality to execution was shockingly mediocre. There’s a big difference between “gourmet” and “gimmick,” and sadly, this place is stuck on the wrong side of that line. I would not recommend it unless significant changes are made in the kitchen and front of house. Pretension without substance is never a recipe for success.

A place like home, out of the tourist way, and still world class cuisine. Ana Moura has brought to the very rooted Alentejo cuisine her imagination and a cuisine where flavors are the most important thing. Loved it and will come back.

Beautiful location, kind service and delicious food 😌 The fish and shrimp rice was just incredible!!! Highly highly recommend 😋 The cheese dessert was also amazing !! This one was a pleasant surprise 😌

Had a fantastic lunch experience here today. From first arriving we were looked after really well. We were seated on the little outside balcony which had a lovely view. The staff were really attentive and the lady who was front of house explained the dishes to us. We started with an aperitif then had a mix of starters - bread with pork butter and crackling, fish liver pate and fried calamari with lovely lemon mayonnaise. We then shared a dish of hake with clams and after that shared creamy fish and shrimp rice, which was amazing and my highlight of the meal. We finished with cheesecake with caramel and pistachio and a glass of muscat. At the end of the meal the chef/owner Ana came out for a chat. This restaurant is listed in the Michelin guide and it should be as the food and service is first class. So pleased we went today as we had top class Portuguese food. Thank you Ana and the whole team for a wonderful lunch.

Amazing place! Chef-owner was clearly trained in Michelin Star restaurants. Genuine simple traditional cuisine but with a twist cooked to perfection! The mother of Chef is the front of house and gave us a perfect experience. Must go but… Don’t go until i get my permanent residency table there!

The best restaurant in Porto Covo. Original and delicious food, very fresh, attentive staff, nice ambience. We had a fish soup and chocolate mouse, a glass of wine and porto. Definitely, a place to come back.
