Lammershof

We regularly go to Lammershof with our family to eat in the restaurant there. I must have been there 15-20 times. In the last 5 years. We love the food and the location. The menu and the creations are always something special and usually very tasty and fresh. Sometimes the dishes and the "quality" vary depending on who is in the kitchen at the time. When you go there, you can often see the bison. So the meat you eat can be seen right outside the restaurant! That is of course a big plus. I will definitely be back :)

Rooms are kind of small with low ceiling, bathroom w/shower are just big enough for 1 person, fits 2 if doors left open. Wi-fi is very spotty, TV has only a few channels, none international and had lots of interruption in picture & sound, too. Not handicapped accessible, because of few stairs outside of room door. Fridge, but no coffee maker in room. No a=c, earplugs are provided.

We just had the opportunity to spend two days and one night at Lammershof for a Team retreat. Service was always friendly, forthcoming, discreet, and flexible, which created the perfect environment for a succesful and undisturbed team-building process. Food was very good, especially dinner, and the rooms were a mix of old charm with modern amenities. Overall we would recommend Lammershof and hope to be back in the future.

Delightful country inn amid a bison farm. We also enjoyed the superb, casual Steuben restaurant. The bison burger is unforgettable! Some lovely trails are accessible right from the property.

We‘ve heard of the excellent bison meat and decided to come here for dinner. The restaurant is very cosy and nicely decorated. The restaurant manager was super attentive and explained all the dishes and drinks to us. We’ve ordered the Lammershof plate to share as well as three mains and the food was excellent. High quality produce and local ingredients with excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Great hotel in the middle of the nature and possibilities to hike 3-5kms (or more!). The beds are super comfortable, thee rooms are quiet and the animals surrounding are a delight. On top of this comes the Stuben where you can eat Bison burger for 16€ every Monday. Definitely a must!!

An exquisite german cuisine restaurant that you would want to visit all year round - in summer, you'd have the chance to sit outside facing a very beautiful view in a calm atmosphere, in the winter, the cosy interior design will warmly welcome you! I tried the schnitzel which was perfect, thin crispy and juicy at the same time. The potato salad that came with it was also very good, acid and vinegary. The dessert i took was a panna cotta but revisited in an artsy way. I liked it less than the main dish as i was waiting to be served sometimes sweet, and it wasnt at all. Overall 4 stars, would come again!

A few years down the line is now a very nice place for an evening meal for two or for groups. Stylish interior with excellent food and service with home grown bison and deer. Parking is easy opposite, the area is beautiful for a quick post or pre prandial walk although you will need proper walking shoes. Is now very recommendable.
