Lammes Candies Round Rock

Best chocolate around. My boyfriend went into Lammes for Valentines candy earlier this year. At the register, he saw there were a few extra cartons of Chocolate Covered Strawberries so he grabbed one to try them. This has now become a monthly tradition. We look forward to pre-ordering them and the pickup day! The ladies are always so happy and helpful.

I came all the way from Pflugerville today to get candy for someone’s birthday. Come in and find out your store is closed for sales. Why is this not posted on the website for lambs candies you only have two stores in this area. I came here because I didn’t wanna have to go to airport at 5:30. I will be in the airport area for the party. I’m attending, but I’ll have to leave extra early to get to your store at 5:30. I hope they’re not closed. I better call first. Gifting the dark chocolate orange peels has been a family tradition of ours for 40 years just so you know.

Great customer service. I went in to buy a gift for someone and decided on a selection of truffles. They even wrapped it for me. Definitely will be back again.

Austinites have been satisfying their sweet tooth at Lammes Candies for decades! They have a wide range of candies, most of whom they have crafted themselves right here in the Austin area. Particularly renowned are their chewy pecan pralines... A real classic! I enjoy shopping at Lammes because you have a lot to choose from, quality craftsmanship, and friendly staff if you have any questions. Part of the fun is discovering sweet goodies you didn't expect. If you're looking for something special, Lammes will probably have it. Highly recommended.

One word… AMAZING! Been going here over 25 years for their Chocolate Covered Strawberries!!! Well, and their other candies, pralines and turtles! The best!

The amount of greatness Lammes Candies has all around is astounding. From the delicious candies of all sorts to the incredible customer service, Lammes most certainly deserves 5 Stars. Not to forget to mention, the happiness you see on their faces and in their voices to help their customers, proves there is a reason the company has been around since 1885! Great little candy and chocolate store! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the walnut fudge was perfect. I think the Austin chocolates will make great gifts as well.

Come for their chocolate covered strawberries and stay for everything else. Their treats are amazingly delicious.

When you think of the candy store, you might think of Wonka... But you would be better off thinking of Lammes. Lammes is a local candy store that has been around since the 1880s. So many delicacies here from the chocolate candies to the divinity to the pecan pralines (one of my favorites) the Longhorns (chocolate and caramel goodness), and my family favorites the chocolate malt balls, and the infameous cherry sours Great local candy store, fantastic customer service,.

Growing up in Chicago, one of the favorite trips we'd make was to the Fannie May candy shop. It was always around holiday time (Christmas, Valentine's Day) and the visual array of goodies and rich chocolate odors were intoxicating. Lammes reminds me quite a bit of those visits. The candy looks appealing and the taste quality is very high. If you have a sweet tooth that needs satisfying, this is a great choice. Recommended.

I sent an inquiry for several boxes of chocolates that could not be shipped due to the extreme heat we're experiencing. I didn't want to go to the store only to find that I could not get what I wanted. I sent a message through their site and they responded within 10 minutes. I was already impressed! With this large order I had to go to their warehouse on the south side of Round Rock. The staff was really nice and of course I had to sample what I bought as gifts and the chocolates are delicious! *Note, you can see that some of the chocolate melted a bit in mine. I had them in the car for about 3 hours because I had to make other stops.

I asked a family member to stop in to grab a box of the delicious pralines from Lammes Candies. I even sent a screenshot of page from Lammes' website, so he would know what I wanted. The price of a 1lb box was posted at $18.75. Lammes would not honor the price from their own website. I won't recommend this place again. I guess it's a sign, I didn't need the candy anyway.

I don't recommend this especially if you want to preorder. I preordered chocolate covered strawberries and caught covid the day before the scheduled pickup day (Friday). I went to pick up the strawberries that following Monday. I was told my strawberries had been donated. I was then told that is their policy. I asked why I wasn't called or emailed before they was given away. I have left 3 messages and emailed the corporate office twice with no luck. If you can't go in that day DON'T buy from here!

The four of us toured the Austin area visiting mostly legendary BBQ restaurants but we're also stopping at Iconic places like the oldest bakery in Texas. We were excited to stop at this chain of candy shops. Surviving since 1885, amazing. The candy selection was great and it was pretty good! The service was lackluster at best. Our energy and smiles disappeared quickly as we encountered the woman working there. My wife says that you should be the happiest person if you're working in a chocolate place. Apparently she is wrong . Great candy, sad service.

*BUYER BEWARE* Be very very very sure you want this product before you leave the store. They do not offer any exchanges or refunds. I purchased a pre-packaged, factory sealed Secret Santa gift, and was promptly advised by my employer of a food allergy. Tried to take the sealed product back an hour later and was told: too bad. Diminutive manager pointed out a small sign stating no refunds on a candy case I was nowhere near on my visit the hour before.

As someone coming from out of state, I hadn't really been too familiar with this shop. We stopped in the other day and found quite a few nice things. The employee even had us sample some amazing chocolate-covered orange rinds as we perused the candy. I really like the dark chocolate raspberry truffles and the mint patties. They have some very nice nut and chocolate candies as well. I would come back for more if I'm ever in the area again.

As the reply stated " we do not listen to our customers" Go ahead only assume your customers are wrong to want a full box the way we want" ; yes full but not crammed " no" ! Go ahead stand by your assumptions and since your determined to be right! Enjoy eating all that candy you don't sell! It has been a few years not missing the poor customer service or The smart corporate come back replies sad cause Candy box didn't jiggle but apparently the company felt they get to make the EXECUTIVE decision on how much THEY choose for you with their WALLETS not pulled out! Humm nice job running away your customers WHO SPEND THEIR MONEY over a box that probably cost 15 cents and a candy that probably cost 1.00 to make and A EMPLOYEE who probably gets paid 15.00 a hour!

I can't come to Austin without stopping by here and picking up some Pecan Pralines. They are the best, hands down. If you plan on munching on them or sharing it's cheaper to get them individually wrapped then the box set. They also have Habanero Pecan Pralines for the distinguished fire eater, if that's your thing. The lady behind the counter was kinda pushy. She offered to start wrapping our chocolate gift boxes, which I thought was sweet... until she shouted out a total to me and I wasn't even done looking around. R-U-D (RUDE!). lol I guess that meant my visit should be concluded. Talk about whack customer service. Mental note to self: Go do a different Lammes Candies next time. Four stars for the candy but dock a star for poor customer service.

Hands down, the best quality chocolate store around! Notice I said "quality," you won't get anything like these chocolates at the grocery store. They're a little pricey, compared to the national chocolate manufacturers, but these chocolates are rich enough in flavor and texture, you won't want, or need, to consume much to be satisfied. I've been going here 2-3/year for several years, stocking up each time. The dark chocolates are my favorites, esp those with almonds or cashews, and their dark chocolate orange cremes are awesome! I see several reviews complaining about the boxing and/or customer service. I've never had a problem with the customer service, myself, and I always let them package the chocolates in their paper bags, then bring them home, put them in freezer bags, and freeze about 1/2 of them. There's a lot to be said for maintaining the integrity of the family business by maintaining the quality of its' products. Thanks Lammes, for doing so!

In response to the owner's comment (which I just now saw, a year later): what you could do to resolve the issue is instruct your employee to check and see if there is another box, or rewrap a box, when there are no other customers in the store. You could instruct your customer service people to listen to the customer and not try to deflect blame. Offering the "option" for someone who is already unhappy with the service they've received at one location to go out of their way to get to another one is pretty ill-considered. Your customer service agent could have said, "I am so sorry. We will speak to the employee and find out what happened. What did you buy? If you go back on Tuesday, we'll have a wrapped box there you can exchange yours for." Your response illustrates the problem with your customer service. You are only concerned with defending your employees and your business. It's great that you have your peoples' backs, but you did not address a single one of the concerns listed. I guess the customer service issue comes from the top.

Been going to Lammes for years...and, only on special occasions...solely because of one item that my family members like. Customer service has gotten better over the years, but generally, this is not a very customer friendly company. Glad that See's Candies made it to Austin. Much better candy and service.

Its Lammes. Overpriced, tasty goodness. Parking lot is crazy here, but its nice to have a place to pop in when needed. Everything is always delicious, just costly. But no complaints here!

Great chocolate!!! The store in Round Rock is very clean and the people are very nice. They don't have a public testroom..

When u walk in to this store u just wanna eat everything ;) smell so good i come here couple times a year and get the sugar-free raspberry and it's delicious.

My dad has always brought back the longhorn candies from here and I was excited to go to a Lemmes shop. The ladies seemed bored and not willing to go out of their way to make suggestions. I hesitantly bought what I wanted but would have bought more. Sorry to come into your shop and actually try to purchase something.

Available on a limited basis, the chocolate covered strawberries are worth the trip.

Was a regular customer. Would call ahead and Shelly would always go above and beyond to be sure I could swing by and get what I wanted in a hurry. She would even stay later for me if I was running late because of traffic. All I ever had to do was call, come in and pay and go on my way. Well, guess that was her way of giving exceptional customer service. I hadn't been in for a while and was travelling to my Momma's in Louisiana and wanted to bring her some Chocolate so I called and asked for Shelly and was told she had been let go. Asked if I could place my order for pick up and the girl that answered said she couldn't do that but would help when I got in the store. Very disappointed not only because Shelly wasn't there (and the gals that worked along side her), but because the customer service just wasn't there any more. By the time I got there at 5:30 the store had already closed and they didn't answer the phone. I have since found a new place to go in Georgetown.
