So happy to finally be back in a city with great variety of grocery stores! The last five years of Walmart pickup supplemented by online ordering has been serviceable, but it was so awesome to peruse for any and everything today!

This was a great store to stop by. They had a lot of ethnic items from multiple different cultures. I would have a leash up here again. The store was clean and people were helpful. All the fresh food was time stamped and smelled so good.

This place is terrible and completely False Advertisement. I went to this LAM’s SEAFOOD in Southcenter today to purchase groceries. One item that stood out was the fresh salted eggs. The price that was on the shelf says $14.99 but when the cashier ring it up it says $17.99. I brought it up to the cashier, he went to look at it, took the picture and bought it back and also said it was $14.99. He called for a Supervisor. When the Supervisor showed up, she said the price is $17.99. But he also told her the price on the shelf says $14.99, instead of honoring the shelf price they continue to ring it up at $17.99. I understand it’s only $3 but the point I am trying to make is they need to be more honest and upfront with their prices. How many items in their store have missed pricing and how many customers get scammed. Unfortunately this will be my last time shopping there. There are many grocery stores in that area it’s not just them. There’s Reanch 99, and Seafood City just a couple of blocks away. To all the customers out there, to watch your prices when they ring it up.

07/09/25 I requested 2 pounds of live-spotted shrimps. A Mexican employee retrieved them from the old Vietnamese man who scooped them from the water tank. Upon presentation, I inquired if they were live, and he confirmed while showing them to me. As he weighed them, the quantity increased to nearly 3 pounds. Unaware that he had added dead shrimps left by the scale, I proceeded with the purchase. It was only upon arriving home and inspecting the contents of the bag that I discovered several dead shrimps, some of which had turned pale white. 04/15/25 I recently purchased $50 worth of live blue crabs from Lam's Seafood, which had a strong sewage-like odor. The cooked meat was mushy and emitted a potent unpleasant smell. In light of the potential health risks, I will refrain from purchasing live blue crabs in the future. 01/08/25 I was disappointed with the summer rolls, which were spoiled by 11:25 AM. In addition, I preferred fish sauce to peanut sauce on the shrimp spring rolls. 04/24/24 A Vietnamese pork sandwich caused stomach issues due to an unconventional preparation method involving slicing, boiling, and pressing the pork. I will avoid this preparation method in the future. Clear labeling on the wrapper is necessary to inform customers of the unique preparation. 04/11/24 I unfortunately wasted $70 on rotten fresh durian. Please refer to the attached pictures. 03/13/24 The ripe mangoes I purchased were also unsatisfactory. Please refer to the attached pictures. ========== Lam's Seafood is highly regarded as one of the top Vietnamese grocery stores in the area, offering a wide variety of fresh produce, vegetables, and seafood. While I have consistently had positive experiences with them, I did have a single incident involving the purchase of blood clots. As the seafood department was about to close, I approached a Hispanic employee to inquire about the availability of blood clams and specified the quantity needed. He subsequently retrieved a bag full of blood clots from the back. Upon completing the payment for the blood clots, we left the store. When we arrived home and began cooking, the clams emitted a strong unpleasant odor. Approximately 90% of them were rotten. My wife chose not to eat any, and I sampled a few before discarding the rest. I then returned the leftovers to the store. A Vietnamese employee kindly provided a refund for the unused or discarded clams. This experience taught me that it is best not to purchase so-called 'live' seafood unless it is visible. I appreciate the variety of seafood items the store offers and its customer service. However, the 'On Sale' crabs can be somewhat of a gamble. I have observed other customers selecting crabs with all their legs and claws intact, while I ended up with crabs missing legs and claws. To be honest, I am just glad that the crabs I purchased still had some legs.

Google
Low prices and a very large selection of goodies. I go here quite frequently but… just look at the picture… poor little guy was trapped inside…. Taking one star off for the bee.

Google
Love the selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. I used to have to visit the location in South Seattle and this one is so much easier to find parking at and has everything I love!

Coleen Heyligar

Google
Close to closing. Most of the items were covered or removed in the produce section. Several employees around but no one interacted with me or seem interested that I was searching for an item. I walked the entire section looking for spice or long mangos, which I found at the end of my search.

Google
Asian grocery store. Have fresh seafood & veggies. They sell baked goods and other yummy foods. There is a food court there too. Vietnamese restaurant; drinks; poke; Mochi doughnuts; banh mi sandwiches; dim sum, roast pork, roast duck, roast pork belly, etc.

Yelp
Really like this Asian market. Good variety of fresh fruits and veggies. All kinds of fresh and dried noodles. Lots of fresh and frozen seafood to choose from. All kinds of fresh meats too. Some of the meat cuts are not offered at qfc or Safeway. All kinds of bottled and can goods This Lam's is much nicer than the one in the Seattle International District. I rarely go to that location because of all the drug addicts and homeless that hang around in that area. This location on minkler blvd has ample parking in front and in back of the store. Picked up beef brisket , pork spareribs and pork belly. Also found radish kimchi, Bahn xeo flour packets, pho noodles and veggies and Thai basil

Yelp
Rottem frozen smelt fish. Assistant Manager insisted that it really has smell to begin with. We bought other frozen seafood items but they were not rotten. Beware of buying their previously frozen items. It seems like they repack their old/unsold displayed items as a way to sell it again. No resolution provided when I asked for refund. Not recommended.

Yelp
A very clean and well-organized market offering a variety of Asian foods and produce. However, we noticed there wasn't any fresh sushi/sashimi. We tried a variety of items from the food stalls and enjoyed everything we got. We thought the prices for the food halls were fair and even got a free mochi donut during their happy hour. The coffee drinks offered are an Asian foodie haven as there's a lot of pandan, ube, coconut, and other Asian inspired drinks available. There is also a dimsum food hall, so the mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, and poke is great. You are definitely bound to find something you'll want to try and be satisfied with. Lam's is a great stop for a treat or grocery shopping if you're in the area!

Yelp
My favorite supermarket. Got everything I need here. Those baby mangoes!!! Fiyahhhh. They got all types of exciting food here. Sweet! I love that I can get fresh seafood here. Especially those fresh oysters in the summer. I wish they had a deli like the one in Seattle. The food court here has great restaurant options as well. Glad there's closed by.

Yelp
I stopped by to look for a somewhat unique, water chestnut flour for a dish and was very surprised at how well kept, clean and their large variety of fresh seafood, vegetables and non-perishable items they had in stock. I've been to Hong Kong Supermarket and 99 Ranch and Lam's is much better in price and variety. It also helps that the market is located in a shopping center with lots of places to eat and boba to drink. I'd highly recommend coming here to get all you Asian food needs!
google avatar

Nandini H.

Yelp
Enjoyed exploring this super market with a wide variety of Asian fruits and vegetables as well as noodles. It can be pretty crowded and chaotic but that's part of the fun of exploring ethnic supermarkets so I did like the place overall. Will be back to try some other fruits sometime
google avatar

Gina P.

Yelp
Great food court! I e do it's from the donut stall we're moist and delicious. Sit down restaurant was okay, nothing special. I'm coming back to try the bahn mi stall. Love Lams!
google avatar

Yelp
We like going here now better than Ranch99 which was our go-to previously for Asian groceries. Lam's is closer to us and the only downside is that it's SO CROWDED and the aisles are very narrow or at least they feel like it. So it's a bit of a packed in experience but I guess that can be fun, too. It's especially hopping in the produce section where everyone is getting their fresh veggies. They are of course named after their seafood section and it is prodigous. Also lots of Asian treats and some other household items such as religious needs, candles and whatnot. A few kitchen tools as well. Fun thing is you can also stop by the food court and grab lunch or a snack. Convenient to walk or drive to, depending on your schedule for that day. Decent prices.

Yelp
Whenever I am in a rush, but need food that is cheap and I don't have to wait for, I usually come here if I am in the area. Friday after work, I stopped by to buy some spring rolls and a banh mi in their deli section where the pre-made food are packaged.
google avatar

Jboogie L.

Yelp
Enjoyed coming here more than Seafood City. They have a few food booths in the back after you pay for your groceries (dochi donuts, poke, dim sum, pho, banh mi, drink spot called Natalie's?). They have banh mi, cha lua, vietnamese drinks inside the market. Produce prices were average. Easy parking. I would come back if I were in the area. It's relatively close off the freeway.
google avatar

Yelp
So far I like it. Food what I buy was perfect. Love the service. Very clean. Please go and try it. Highly recommended.

Bo W.

Yelp
The food is good. The service is good too. The ambiance is at a grocery store. They were busy in the fresh fish area.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is much better than the Filipino market nearby. They have a huge selection of excellent produce, amazing nuts and tofu, broths, soups, incredible. A vegans paradise with all the hidden gems! I know it's a fish market, but wow you can really find a lot of cool stuff here. They're also very friendly.

Yelp
Where do we even begin with this place? It's my wife's absolute go-to market--no matter how far we live, she insists on driving there. Lam Seafood is one of the larger Vietnamese supermarkets in Seattle. While there are others around, this one seems to excel in providing a wide range of fresh ingredients. They also have crab on sale most of the time, although that can be a bit of a gamble (I've had a few bad experiences with them picking out the crab). Produce: They offer a great selection for various Vietnamese dishes and other cuisines. They even have pre-made bundles for specific dishes like sweet and sour fish soup (can chứa). Fruits: They have a diverse range of fresh fruits, although some can be on the pricey side due to imports from other countries, like Vietnam. We usually indulge ourselves (especially my wife, haha) in these imported goods. They bring back memories of our time in Vietnam. Poultry: There are plenty of options, although I occasionally question about the freshness of certain meats. It's a good idea to check the dates and consider freezing them when taking advantage of bulk sales. You'll find rice near the cashier. Parking is free but can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends. It's best to either go early or a little later in the day on weekends.

Yelp
WARNING! The crab at lam seafood is really really STINKY and ROTTEN and they put ice on top of the crab so it doesn't stink and trick you but BUT when you leave to go home it stinks REALLY REALLY bad and make sure and be careful at lam seafood it was only 2.99.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent selection of Viet groceries but shameful and disgusting food/produce handling. Even Ranch 99 is cleaner than this place and that's saying something. Almost every perishable I've bought here molds or starts to rot within days of purchase. I'm only buying non-perishables from here on out. What an embarrassing decline of the Lam's Seafood name.
google avatar

Thuy N.

Yelp
Lam's Seafood could be a hit or miss. Sometimes the fruits is fresh and sometimes it's old and moldy. No return policy so buy at your own risk. They do inform you at checkout the pricing for certain fruits, in event that you're not aware of the price or to ensure that you'll be paying $40 for some $9.99/lbs mangos. I went to Lam's Seafood today and advised that all should be cautious when buying certain food. As you can see in the attached picture, this piece of pork is supposed to be priced for a certain amount but some is labeled as beef for $6.49/lbs vs $2.79/lbs. I still find it odd that they check your receipt at the door when all the items is tied tightly in a bag, so I'm not certain what they're checking for. I just think it's a waste of time and resource for them.
google avatar

Julie G.

Yelp
A little bit larger than Seafood City grocery store. This market had more Chinese grocery items. This location is a little bit further from the freeway in a strip mall. Nice to have a couple of choices for Asian grocery stores to shop at.
google avatar

Yelp
Wanted to give this market a try, but their quality control really needs to be improved. I was suspicious of the pre-packed lychee trays. I feel like pre-packaged items always have some flaws that are being hidden. To my disappointment after buying the tray of lychee, I came home to find them moldy. Peeled a couple of them and they were grayish brown. Couldn't salvage anything and was not comfortable risking eating any of these. What a waste at $5/lb (wasted $11). I also looked at their seafood and meats. The ribeye they were selling had no resemblance of a true ribeye. It was some cut of beef, but I could not confirm it was a true ribeye, so I passed. The seafood area looked ok, but with the latest quality control issues, I wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing seafood from Lam's. Go to Uwajimaya, they have better quality seafood and meats. Will not be back here to buy anything perishable and will definitely not go out of my way to come here again.

Tish H.

Yelp
Bought packaged ginger there and found a few moldy ones when I cut them. It had only been a couple of days since purchase and I had them in the fridge the entire time. Beware!
google avatar

Ciara L.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday and they had all the goods!! There was prepared lunch items and all the goodies that I usually find in Asian markets! Some of the desserts were hit or misses, but they were super fun to try. They even had a little Filipino food section.
google avatar

Eric T.

Yelp
Some of the pictures seem dated or the market must've took a beating as it looks nothing like some of the pictures. For the most part, the market serves it's purpose and prices are inline with others. For those visiting, remember to bring your own bag, or you must buy a bag from them.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
This market is very safe-masks everywhere, hand sanitizer and plastic shields at checkout, and there is a checker at the door ensuring that the number of people inside isn't too crowded. On the way out, they check your receipt. Lam's has so many options for exotic fruits like dragonfruit, durian, kumquat, and persimmons amongst others. Their fresh food section is very well stocked and they have plenty of options for pantry staples: noodles, sauces, spices. Their bakery/deli has fresh sandwiches and dishes made in house. They have a fresh seafood section as well and have an excellent selection of products from processed snacks to elegant dishware. I would hands down go again-they have so many wonderful imported goods and everyday staples.

Yelp
Anyone looking for fresh Dungeness crab, head over to Lam's Seafood Market. I'm here today 01/06/23 and just walked in and they just got a new shipment of crabs: $5.99 a pound. It's been years since I've seen that price. WOW
google avatar

Eva M.

Yelp
Congrats to Lam's for opening their second store in the area. It's bigger, cleaner (of course), with a bigger selection (of course). There are two entrances to the store. If you enter from Minkler Blvd, you immediately enter the market itself. If you enter from Southcenter Pkwy, you'll see the mini food court first. There's a Vietnam House restaurant, Dochi donuts, Natalie's drinks, Go Poke and more. Officially, Lam's gears towards the Vietnamese audience. But I think this store did it right as their inventory leans more towards all Asian cuisines while leaning towards Vietnamese than their original store in the International District. Other than the generous produce and seafood departments (as all respectable Asian stores do), the dry goods define the coverage. I noted Vietnamese everything, Korean snacks, Chinese seasonings/sauces, Japanese sweets, and more. Not bad at all. It's nearing the Uwajimaya coverage, with slightly better prices. 4 stars, "Yay! I'm a fan."

Yelp
I love this place called, "Lam's Seafood Asian Market" at Minkler Blvd Tukwila. I didn't know this place but I found it when I came to Nordstrom Rack. Just crossed street and convenient location and large parking spaces. I can buy basic groceries and live seafood even there are interesting products to try some. I purchased Vietnamese combo sandwich and 2 kind of spring rolls for lunch and groceries. Vietnamese sandwich was good taste and I never tried 2 kind of spring rolls but yummy and so reasonable prices. Thanks Lam's Seafood Asian Market! I will be groceries again sooner The store is open everyday 8am-8pm. Wear mask please and distance.

Holly P.

Yelp
I haven't seen this sort of selection since I left California. I'm so happy I found this place.
google avatar

Jm P.

Yelp
Came here Thursday afternoon around 250pm. When you walk in theres a restaurant on the right and a quick grab and eat dim sum on the left. When you walk towards the store there's another eatery for doughnuts and poke bowls. The store is pretty narrow in some lanes and the lay out can make it feel congested inside but the groceries/seafood and packaged goods are decently priced along with h-mart and hong kong market. I didn't have to wait in line and the checker was polite and speedy. Parking is tricky. The parking lot has very narrow parking slots and depending on what you drive (or if you're a bad parker) it can be a little irksome.

Haii ..

Yelp
Just bought this around 7PM and came home. My girlfriend almost ate it whole but realize that it was moldy. Here's our receipt as well. Not sure but I would double check your stuff before you buy.

Yelp
Bought a banh mi thit ga from their deli. It was a bit skinny but once you unwrapped it, the baguette was a bit skinny, but the filling was quite surprisingly tasty. For $5, it was very delicious & I would definitely go pick up a quick banh mi again.
google avatar

Royce L.

Yelp
I feel sick just eating this banh mi and finding a LONG piece of hair that I had to take out in 3 parts because it ripped in multiple parts. I'm disgusted. Does this place not follow santitary precautions?! ESPECIALLY DURING COVID? If they aren't wearing hairnets, I'm worried they aren't wearing gloves or even masks. The banh mi itself tastes ok, not the best but not the worst. EDIT 1min after posting: I FOUND ABOTHER HAIR, A BIT CURLIER, POSSIBLY A PUBE? I'm going to gag. Changed from 2 stars to 1 star, absolutely disgusting.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been shopping this little gem of a store for about a year now. I love the produce and seafood section, because that is what I love. But there is stuff all around the store you cannot find elsewhere. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Bill C.

Yelp
We can't comment on the fresh seafood, but my Vietnamese partner and I found one packaged item after another tasted off or was even inedible (one was sold to us well past the expiration date, we discovered). Despite their often high prices, their packaged products often have artificial or unhealthy ingredients. We're never going back.
google avatar

Evelyn M.

Yelp
They have beautiful live seafood and meats I need, along w the Asian veggies. Good prices. I travel 40miles RT to come shop here

Yelp
My family and I was so excited when we found out they were opening Lam's seafood in the Southcenter area. My mom does her shopping in Chinatown weekly so having Lam's in the area does make things so more easy if she simply forgot something or just needs to make a quick run. What I love about this store is the fact that they actually carry a lot of products from Vietnam! When I would. come back from traveling to Vietnam I tend to crave a lot of things I couldn't get in the US but I have found it here! This place can get pretty busy during the weekend but they seem to be taking precautions by only allowing certain amount of people in at a time. There are sanitizing stations and everyone is wearing a mask! When this place first opened, people didn't realize that this store has two entrances. One entrance is across from Nordstrom rack and the other is next to party city. One entry is to grocery shop and the other is for the other food restaurants in the same complex. There's a Vietnamese restaurant, dim sum Togo, Vietnamese desserts and drinks, and also poke! Seems like more shops will also be opened in the near future. Can't wait to see what else will be here. Parking on the rack side is a bit tight which is a pain since cars get dinged all the time. So it's best to park on the other side since the spaces are a lot bigger.
google avatar

Nava O.

Yelp
My honest rating for this is a solid 3.5 stars. I used to live in the area when this first opened. Every time I drove by, there was ALWAYS a line to get in, so I waited for the grand opening hype to die down. Lam's is located where the Big Lots used to be in Southcenter. There's parking in the big shopping plaza where Ulta, party city, Best Buy is, or toward the back side, which is across from Nordstrom Rack, therefore 2 separate entrances. If you come from the entrance where party city is, you'll see a Vietnamese restaurant up front, and towards your left, a bbq/dim sum to go place, a sugarcane/boba stall, poke bar, and Dochi. After walking passed those places, you'll get to the market itself. You will be asked to wait in order to get in if they've reached capacity. Since this market is still fairly new, its upkeep is very bright and clean. My downside to this is you kind of get the chaotic feel when you take a trip to the great wall at 99 ranch. Crowded, cramped, carts blocking your way, and etc. They tried to make the aisles as spacious as possible, but still with all the shoppers there, it still feels small. The produce area has a vast variety of greens and fruits with fair prices. More or less compared to 99 Ranch, and cheaper compared to Uwajimaya, if this helps. There, I also found a papaya salad kit, which was pretty cool. I don't make that often for myself, so a small kit would be perfect for me. The seafood department had some great selections as well. Fresh fish, shell fish, and even lobsters. Sliced meats for Kbbq style is also offered for a reasonable price, and packaged nicely too! Once you circle around the market, you'll get to the cold drinks and fresh deli area where you can spot the banh mi, offered with chicken, pork, or combination. There's also little cakes and other desserts for your sweet cravings. One of the aisles also offer small home décor, which was neat. Spices, snacks, your favorite noodles, canned goods, familiar Asian sauces and kitchen gadgets are also sold there. The cashiers there are friendly, but always busy. Lam's overall is pretty nice, and I wouldn't mind coming back when I'm in the area. I'd probably steer away during the weekend, as I'm sure it's their busiest times. They definitely have great deals on seafood prices/quality, and their meats.

Yelp
Brand new Vietnamese grocery store in this area, it's located next to Nordstrom Rack. I honestly only came here because I had to walk in here to go to Dochi Donuts, but remembered that I needed some items so it was convenient. The store still kind of smell from the fresh swimming seafood in the back, but it's significantly cleaner than their location in Seattle where I won't even step foot inside. Parking is also a huge upgrade. There's a mini food court in the back with Poke, Dochi, and a few other stores. I'm kind of surprised that Vietnamese businesses know how to collab, probably had their younger family members helped with that concept. I won't be going out of my way to shop here since I don't live in this area, but I'll maybe stop in for Dochi. Lol. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
Ehhh, maybe it depends on what you're looking for? I went in here hoping for some produce for my sushi needs, noodle cups, and whatever else tickled my fancy. The first thing that hit me was the smell. It was the smell of a typical Asian market amplified many times over. Not ideal, but I can deal with it. Produce? Surprisingly small selection and not even close to fresh. If you're going to buy from here you need to inspect things very carefully! I've looked a few times now and always walk out empty handed due to the lack of freshness. Frozen section is freezer burn city. I don't even really know what they all have in that section, I just see the freezer burn on many items and keep moving. The rest of the market is "eh" in my mind, mostly based on the selection, or lack there of. The best part of this establishment is the food court area, which I'm looking forward to trying all the places, but I'm not coming here for groceries.
google avatar

Xichen J.

Yelp
This is a decent place to pick up some Asian grocery in Tukwila. They are not as big as H-mart nor Ranch 99, but gets the job done. The cleanliness inside worse than Uwajimaya, but above par compared to the typical smaller Asian grocers in found in college towns or in Chinatowns of big cities. Their seafood selection is extensive with prices being a tad above average. I even saw the elusive parrot fish on sale there!
google avatar

Sharon K.

Yelp
We took a look at Lam's Seafood Market after hearing about it from some friends. It's a smaller market down in Tukwila, but it's still a good size. It's an Asian market and the prices were better than Uwajimaya. They don't have as much variety as Uwajimaya, but where they had the same items, their prices were a lot better. They were really diligent about limiting the number of customers in the store at one time, and they made sure you took the sanitized carts instead of the used ones. We didn't have a lot of time to browse, plus we're still in these middle of a pandemic so we wanted to limit the time we were in there. But from what we saw, the quality is good and the prices were great. We would probably shop here once in awhile. I would say we would come more often, but it's a far drive for us. Otherwise I do recommend it! We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Went today on grand opening day. Excited to have a large Vietnamese grocery store in the south. This means less needed trips to crazy downtown Chinatown where parking sucks. We got a small bottle of red boat fish sauce free for the grand opening. My mom has been very excited to try it. Overall, prices were ok. Some items were more expensive like some of the produce but some items were cheaper like a pack of basa fish. They had a fairly good assortment of Asian fruits and a lot of other unique items like already made frozen dishes and ready made thè. Weird things I saw were some Kirkland Signature items being resold in the shelves. Made me question if the other items I saw there like the frozen duck. If that was also from Costco and being resold there ??? Hmmmm. None the less it's close and has things the other grocery stores done have. Now I feel we're complete in the south. Uwajimaya- Japanese Great Wall- Chinese Seafood City-Filipino Lam Seafood- Vietnamese!!!! Attached to the main grocery store is a small food court called "The Eatery". Restaurants located inside were "Go Poke" - serves to go poke "Dochi- specialty donuts "Natalie's" - Vietnamese thè drinks, sugar cane drinks and desserts "Banh mi station" - serves banh mi sandwiches "Golden Daisy". - serves to go dim sum "Vietnam House" - sit down and dine in Vietnamese restaurant. By the time I got to the food court most things were sold out since they were all just doing a soft opening. Vietnam house was not open at all yet. I did get some sugar cane drink and snacks from Natalie's. Someone accidentally took my order and they were so nice and gave me some extra goodies since I had to wait extra long for them to remake my order. Thank you guys! I'll be back there for sure.

Yelp
This is the new sibling of the original in the ID. It's clean and spacious. I thought it was more if a fishmonger place but its a market. Some good things to grab and some deals if you have patience. Some of the fish were exotic to me and looked a little dicey. But a fun place to shop at and dawdle in.

Yelp
My cousins had came earlier to grab some crabs and lobsters, and I had asked them to grab some Dochi, but they were not open yet. So, my cousins and I came here again the next day to go to Dochi. After we got some donuts, we browsed the store looking for snacks. They didn't have the one we wanted, but we grabbed a few different snacks to try at home. We also wanted to try some "homemade" beef jerky sitting in the glass case towards the front door, but there was no one around to help us, so we just left. The store isn't too near me to shop here often, but may stop by again if I'm craving some Dochi.

Yelp
Buyer Beware!!! This was my first shopping trip to this market so I was pretty excited to find papayas from Hawaii. I bought a case for $39.99 last Thursday and by Monday, they looked like this. Pretty disgusting, right? It was President's Day so I didn't call until Tuesday and spoke to Melissa. After explaining to her and sending her the same photo in this review, she tells me that she needs to speak with the produce mgr and would get back to me. I didn't hear from her, of course, so I called the following day and was told that after they looked at the photo, the produce mgr and his team said that I left it on my counter too long. By the third day, the papayas need to be individually wrapped and placed in the fridge. Hmm were there instructions on the box that said this needed to be done? No! I also told her that it wasn't on my counter but in the garage where it's cold enough. At this point, I could tell she was not going to be of any help. I wasn't even asking for a refund either but just an exchange to replace these because they were pricey. I will not be patronizing this business again. Do yourself a favor and take yours elsewhere.

Yelp
Decent Asian market with a good selection of fresh seafood and some hard to find Asian grocery items. The store is pretty big and they have a large selection of items from different countries. I didn't venture to the prepared food area so can't comment on that. I took a lap around the store just to get my bearings and was surprised by the variety of items available. Definitely worth a visit if you want some Asian groceries.

Yelp
So happy to see Lam's Seafood Asian Market expand beyond Seattle. My go to market on a weekly basis! This location has much to offer! The market is surrounded by local Vietnamese/Chinese food vendors; banh mi, Japanese doughnuts, Vietnam House, Bubble tea, and Chinese BBQ! The seafood and meat department are HUGE!!! They offer freshest produce and seasonal fruit. Prices are reasonable! The family that runs this place are some of the kindest people I have ever met. The staff are helpful and hard working. Cannot go wrong here. Support LOCAL!!!

Yelp
Worse shopping experience ever. We used to be Lam's loyal customer but NOT ANYMORE!! This place was forcefully charge me for PLASTIC BAGS just because i didnt bring bag and buy a lot of items from them. There was a lady were so RUDE to my mother. I said i dont need bags and can carry on my own, but the lady was rude and cocky FORCE US TO BUY THEIR PLASTIC BAGS. Other store don't even do this to their customer. Buy or not is our choice, we pay money not stealing like this kind of business. The place was filthy, smelly. I will never support for this business. TRYING TO MAKE PROFIT BY SELLING PLASTIC BAGS. The government encourage us not to use plastic bags but this store force us to but their plastic bags. This is non sense and should be sue.

Yelp
The new Lam's seafood is amazing. There are plenty of parking unlike the one in ID. They have lots of seafoods options and lots of vegetables. It's so much bigger and has more variety. They're also located in a plaza so you can get donuts, dimsum, sushi or other foods.
